I live nearby and have driven past this place countless times, which caught my eye. As a Colombian, I was eager to give it a try. Upon entering, I was greeted warmly and seated immediately in a cozy booth in the back. I loved the decor of the restaurant. My friend, who was with me, commented on a portrait on the wall that she thought was spectacular. Upon closer inspection, we realized it was actually a TV screen that looked like a painting due to its brushstroke effects. To start, we ordered an appetizer called Mofonguitos Trio ($16), which consisted of one shrimp, one pork, and one steak. We shared each one, and they were all equally delicious. For my main course, I chose the Churrasco ($24). Overall, I highly recommend this place. I haven't tried their cocktails yet, but I plan to on my next visit!

Three of us walked in for dinner and were seated right away. Decor is nice - uncluttered, lots of natural light, modern. Pina colada was good but maybe a little on the small side. We shared a couple of apps (mofonguitos were good and chicharonnes great) and three entrees (pernil, oxtail mofongo and fried red snapper). Pernil was our least favorite. Mofongo was good and the snapper was great (whole including bones so be aware). Sides of red beans and lentils were very nice. Flan for dessert was good too. We will be back at some point when in the mood for latin inspired food.

We were really excited to try this spot since we have visited their other location and have been really pleased with their offerings. The menu is essentially the same menu as their other location, I thought they would have some different offerings. I ordered the Pionono which was actually very good. For my entree I ended up with the Cubano which was my second choice, since the filet mignon was not available. My girlfriend ordered the morrongo with oxtails which she liked. Although the restaurant is nicely decorated the chairs were very uncomfortable. The service was a bit slow and the uncomfortable chairs made it seem longer. I wish them well but will most likely visit their other location the next time.

Discovered Ciibus tonight and happy we did. Great flavors whether you like spices or plain. My wife had tostones, white rice, and papa rellena all were great and not spicy. I had the ropa viella which was flavorful and delicious. The staff were great and the place was clean and well organized. We had the flan and tres leches for dessert. Awesome again.

We have been to this location a few times since they opened. I describe the menu as Latin Food greatest hits with dishes from different countries - Colombian, Peruvian, Venezuelan, etc, The food is consisently tasty and portions are great. Our favorites are the Ceviche Mixto and Ropa Vieja. Cibus offers brunch specials, and have a few kid friendly options. Come hungry!

The menu is some what tied into the Puglia region, which is the heel of the boot. I could tell the italian dialect from the owner when he was speaking to one of the staff, it immediately gave me a good feeling that this restaurant would be really good. The appetizers we had were all really good, we had the fried calamari, the grilled Octopusss, the fried zucchini flowers and thd hummus special. Sorry no pics of these. We had a couple of the Orrechiette Barese, Chicken parmigiana, a pasta special of fettuccine with shrimp in a cream and pesto sauce, another pasta with cavatelli, shrimp and cream and pesto sauce, really couldn't see the pesto, probably could have used a little more or maybe a little finishing with the pesto on top. Service was good and the owner came around to introduce himself and we got a complimentary round of their homemade creama di limencello to finish off the experience. Wr wouldn't hesitate to go again the next time we are in town to see a show.

The space was classy but still casual enough, and cozy. I ordered the Howyoudoin' off the cocktail menu and the gnocci in a pink sauce; also shared the rice balls; absolutely loved everything. The concept of the restaurant is totally relatable for my Italian American family and I find it very funny - cannot wait to bring them in here to try. All staff were super nice. The merch is funny too.

She was a huge part of our magical experience. I started off with the buffalo cauliflower. I will preface this by saying I'm not a big Buffalo flavor person, but I'm a vegetarian and didn't feel like getting my usual vegetarian app - brussel sprouts. I wanted to expand my palate that evening and surprisingly I actually really liked it. The amount of blue cheese was perfect for me (despite the reviews) as it would have made it too salty and greasy. Next was my entree: Modified Kettle Cooked Zoodles. As a vegetarian, I never have the highest expectations but I was blown away! Chris our server was so sweet to have this customized for me. We took the idea of hubby's Branzino sauce and added more veggies to the Kettle cooked Zoodle dish. It was so yummy! Hubby's Branzino: fish was well cooked, elegant flavors from the Puttanesca sauce with spinach and mashed potatoes were excellent! Faux-ito: I got two, the first was the classic, the second was a mix of strawberry and pineapple. Both delicious mocktails! The Forbidden Pear: hubby got this one. very balanced, not sticky sweet. I can't believe this gem is just sitting here in Fairfield. Not too far off from a night in the city. We will definitely be back!

We decided maybe just a drink at the bar, we ordered two drinks, very flat, no carbonation in the drinks at all, wife's soda had not one bubble in it, my beer had no foam or bubbles at all (extremely flat). Not to mention the stemware was very poor, glasses were very small, very basic, and did not make for a want to be "chic" bar vibe. When paying, placed card down and asked for change for tip- (worked in food industry in the past, always better to tip cash). Bar tender looked at it, and decided to make 4 other drinks first as my wife and I sat there with empty glasses waiting to leave. For a bill under 14 and change, asked for change for a 10, was going to tip $4 and given back two fives, granted it's only $1 but the service and everything did not grant a 29% tip sorry! Would have loved to have tried the food, but as an empty restaurant, on a hopping Thursday night, was very put off on the first impression.

The atmosphere is awesome--warm, rustic, and "Southwest" in a way that feels intentional, not cheesy. The staff was also a standout: friendly, genuinely helpful, and fast without feeling rushed. They were on top of everything. And the food... honestly, that's what steals the show. The tableside guacamole and salsa are a must--fresh, flavorful, and it adds a cool little "event" to the meal. I'm vegetarian, and I was pumped about how many options there were that didn't feel like an afterthought.
