So, me and a friend came here looking for oysters but found out that the establishment had changed from edisun to Latin cantina. I love tacos, but was a bit disappointed that this change hadn't been updated on Google or yelp. Either way, it was happy hour so we ordered some tacos and a margarita. The tacos here are soo good! They are different from any of the other tacos Ive had in the area and they are stacked! They were juicy, flavorful, and unique. The margarita was also very good and only $5 for happy hour! They have different flavors for their margaritas, but I only tried the classic and was not disappointed. The establishment is also very nice and new looking inside, and very clean. This place checks all the boxes, I definitely recommend checking them out!

While this place has changed hands several times over the past few years, we decided to check it out for a late dinner on a Saturday night as it was one of the only places around opened late with the kitchen open till 11p.m. The decor and layout is generally the same as we remembered; small and intimate dining tables along with bar and outdoor seating options We chose to eat inside. We ordered a few drinks- one being a Cantina margarita which was very good. Very interesting, unique and refreshing menu options. For an appetizer we ordered the street corn off the cob which was served with tortilla chips. We enjoyed this. For entrees: the Street bowl ( steak, onions, street corn served in a tortilla bowl), Lomo Saltado (skirt steak, onions, tomatoes, fried potatoes, white rice, Ahi Verde sauce), Duck Birra Tacos. All of the dishes were aesthetically pleasing, all tasted fresh and delicious. The stand out dish for me was the Duck Birra Tacos, so well prepared and full of flavor. The accompanying dipping sauce was rich yet light and brought this dish to a whole other level. Portions were generous. Service was meh- I had asked for another drink which never arrived and no one checked in to see how things were. The music was a bit loud and it was turned down a few notches up on request which was most appreciated (I really like to be able to converse with those at my table without shouting). Parking area is small. While the table service may need some improvement, I do recommend giving this place a try as the food is fantastic.

You pay a 20% tip whether you like it or not.

Food was decent. Service was meh. Then when the check came. I could understand why the service was secondary. They change a 20% "Automatic Service Fee". They essentially change you for a tip regardless. Pretty sneaky I thought and just on principle will not go again.

20% service charge calculated after tax.

Pros: open late Seated quickly Late night happy hour Cons: A bit loud if you're just looking to eat and not the "club/bar vibe" Parking lot: not many spaces, people parked haphazardly in handicapped spaces with no tags/ placard. Many delivery drivers camping out. In the parking lot.( I realize this may not be the restaurants fault, but be forewarned) Service charge: To be fair is stated on the menus. HOWEVER, they calculated it based on the post tax total. Which is not the correct way and also not legal. They stated it was "just how the system Does it" Came here on a Friday night after a show at SHU. Got seated and served quickly. Food is decent. If it's a late night and you want a quick bite this is a good bet. If it's earlier(before 9pm), there are many restaurants with better/ more interesting food and no surprise charges.

What a cool new spot off the beaten path. Spanish food made with a twist. What a concept. First and foremost these folks have happy hour every day! Pretty Cool. For starters we had the smashed plantains which essentially are fried tostones. They were delicious! For my meal I had the Cuban sandwich and my girlfriend had the Cantina croquettes. The Cuban sandwich was really good, the pork was flavorful and the Dijon mustard was perfect. The shoestring French fries were delicious. The Cantina croquettes were absolutely delicious. If you are familiar with relleno de papa than this is what it is. The potato was crunchy on the outside and creamy in the inside. To finish our meal we ordered the churros to share. The portion size is actually 3 churros with sauce and a whip cream. It was nice and warm, it was delicious.

The food here is superb! Today we ordered the cauliflower, portabelo mushroom, and the lamb birria tacos. Amazing!!!! I am a frequent customer and every time I bring someone new here, they're hooked! Happy hour from 3-6 then a late night happy hour starting at 10pm. House margaritas are only $5 and made with quality ingredients! Everything is fresh, clean, and service is always on point. Can't rave enough about it!

I stumbled into this restaurant thinking it was still Edisun 348 because I've been wanting to get oysters but was surprised to see the name change and menu change! Come to find out it's the same owners just new name and menu. Since I was here, I tried their happy hour items. I got a $5 margarita and 3 tacos for $12, the rock shrimp, Baja fish, and carnitas. ALL DELICIOUS!! I'm happy I got to try them now and will know to come for their tacos next time.

Behold, a late night dining spot that serves fresh and delicious food, with healthy options and a late night happy hour menu beginning at 10pm! Latina Cantina offers a menu that consists of Latin American Fusion, giving you taste of dishes from several cultures with their own unique twist. I've been working my way through the menu weekly, and this is about half of the photos I have on one device! I get out of work late night, so having so many options at one restaurant is very convenient and very much appreciated! I can have a delicious & healthy (if I choose) meal as late as 11:30, you can't beat that. Kitchen closes at 12 most nights and from 10pm on you can enjoy the 3 for $12 late night happy hour Taco special & a generous list of cocktails at a happy hour price. My list of favorites is long, so I'd start with suggesting to try their carnitas topped tostones, their Cuban Sandwich (Chef is Cuban!), their burger is also out of this world and I can never resist enjoying some tacos. They have very unique & creative Taco combinations that are so much fun to try and they always are accommodating & helpful in guiding you through the menu! If you haven't tried this lovely restaurant yet, definitely put them on your list. They're conveniently located right off of exit 24 of I95 North!

On my first visit, I ordered the Parchados Churrasco, served with white rice, Yukon potatoes, guacamole, house salad, and chimichurri sauce, everything was flavorful and well balanced. This time around, I decided to switch it up and tried the Tamal Tolimense (Toli-Paisa). I didn't see it on the menu, but I had spotted it on their Instagram, and they were happy to make it for me. The Tamal Tolimense was a very generous portion. It's a traditional Colombian dish from the Tolima region, wrapped in banana leaves and filled with masa, rice, chicken, pork, vegetables, and egg. The filling was hearty and satisfying, but the masa itself was a bit bland and could have used more salt. We also shared the Parchados Picada (Meat Lovers) for two ($39.80), which came with steak, pork and chicken strips, fried pork belly, pork ribs, sausage, blood sausage, tiny yellow potatoes, arepitas, tomatoes, and ripe plantains. The portions were excellent and definitely worth sharing. For appetizers, we ordered the Canasta de Plátano (stuffed plantain cups with steak, chicken, and shrimp) and the Alitas de Pollo (6 wings with fries) Both were solid choices, though I wasn't a fan of the Mango sauce, I think a mango habanero hot sauce option would have been better. To drink we had spicy margaritas and a round of pomegranate Long Island iced teas, which were strong, flavorful, and well made. The ambiance is another highlight, the space has a great aesthetic, the food is always nicely presented, and the music was on point, with a mix of classic salsa and modern artist such as Bad Bunny. Parking can be tricky on the street, but they do have a parking lot nearby if needed.

Road trip to Boston…read more.. Needless to say it was a Friday afternoon and traffic was a pain from the start. A quick little yelp search and we had an instant detour for some sustenances, while we let the other motorist continue on their way. Bodega, located in a small little shopping strip, is also small and quaint. Not much wiggle room so be prepared to be neighborly. We arrived half past 4, just in time for HH @ the bar. So we grabbed some seats at the end of the bar where Alex the bartender took care of us. We started with Passionritas (passion fruit margs) and guacamole. Both were equally delish and the guac is bowl licking worthy. However, I do not recommend since you are dinning in public. Lol. In addition we ordered the bodega blistered brussels sprouts and baja tacos to share. The sprouts were an absolute stand out. I opted for the Mexico City Ceasar Salad with Salmon. Presented slightly deconstructed, which didn't take anything away from the great taste. We had an absolute great experience from Alex our bartender whom was very impressionable to Diego (possible manager) whom also made a nice impression. We tried a few more margs before our departure. With the hibiscus being one of my faves. A wonderful spontaneous detour, that will now be a welcomed stop on future road strips north. Just A Note: - HH @ the Bar only (Tues-Fri 4-6pm) - You can take Bodegaritas to-go they have them bottled for sale.

The food and drinks were good, but the experience afterward left a bad impression. While we were eating, a server came by and separated the tables. Near the end of our meal someone who seemed to be in charge asked if I wanted to finish my drink at the bar. It felt like we were being rushed out after a larger party came in. What made it more frustrating was that other tables with the same amount of seating, including a single person at a 4-seat table, were not approached or treated the same way.
