I loved Jerkyz when they were in Stamford and I love them in Norwalk. Last weekend was their opening week and they definitely did not anticipate the overflow of people excited about their grand opening. As with any business there were a lot of kinks to work out which included hiring more staff. But one thing you can't take away from them was the food and drinks were on point. The food was slow coming out but it was delicious. From the lamb chops to the wings. The rum punch and St Catherine were my favorite drinks. I went back to Jerkyz again the next day and again this week. The service is much faster and the food was still consistently great. The staff was working together as a team and the DJ was awesome. Don't let the negative reviews from their opening week make you detour away from Jerkyz. Come experience it for yourself.

#happyhour #willflyforfood We were in CT for a night and decided to check out the happy hour with thr most hype. we got there early and the place was pretty empty. the happy hour rum punch is tiny but its more than enough if I had more I would have ended up w a hangover lol the rasta pasta was delicious once I mixed it up all the sauce was at rhe bottom. the sweet plantains were over cooked but they made us a new batch that was great. the salmon burger was good they dont have a desert menu that was the only down side but the value and flavor were definitely there

Jerk salmon and Rasta Pasta

Everything was good. No complaints. Will be back!! The waitor was nice and the food was spicy just the way I like it. I didn't have high expectations but the place was good even the music and it was clean too

Hmmm where do I start? Actually no lets cut to the chase, this place needs more waiters/waitresses. They had one waitress with just runners. We waited over an hour to be seated, me and my gf food came out 20 minutes apart which is wild. After analyzing the situation I realized why it took so long to be seated, its the lack of waiters! They also need a better system in the kitchen, just entirely too much going on for the help they have in place. The only bright spot...our waitress, incredibly kind and understanding of our frustration. Especially when my pasta dish came out cold

Overall 4 of 5 but rounding up to 5 :)…read more 3 of us had a late lunch around 2 PM. They are 80% full however gave us a very small table and it felt very Squizzy. We had to ask for a bigger table and was led towards the end. Very interesting menu, we had the pu'er tea, which is not very commonly offered in the Chinese restaurants in the area. Love the teapot presentation and overall the branding effort. We tried to order the soup dumpling but was told something wasn't working properly and it's going to take over an hour so next time. Got wontons in chili oil, love the flavor. The mushu pork, a little bit too sweet for me. And the beef chow fun, just can't go wrong with that, and the szichuan pot with cumin lamp. I think this more authentic Chinese but my husband felt the lamb was too oily. I requested to get the little cute cat cup for my daughter's lemonade order and they said yes, so it was a very cute touch. Very happy with the visit definitely a lot of potential we will be back.

My colleagues and I decided to try it out for lunch after both my coworker and I bookmarked it on Yelp, intrigued by its reputation. We were warmly greeted as soon as we entered and seated immediately at a cozy corner table. The restaurant features a full bar with an extensive selection of spirits and creatively crafted drinks, which we eagerly ordered alongside appetizers and main courses. I chose the Mongolian Beef, a popular dish, while my coworker ordered the flavorful Orange Chicken and another chicken dish. I sampled my coworker's Orange Chicken, which was exceptionally delicious; it had a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess, coated in a sticky citrus glaze that complemented the crispy fried chicken pieces. Another coworker ordered the Kung Pao Chicken: wok-tossed chicken thighs with colorful bell peppers, sliced onions, and dried red chilis in a robust Kung Pao sauce, with a spicy kick that was satisfying but too spicy for me to enjoy fully. I returned to my choice, the Mongolian Beef, a fan favorite featuring tender strips of Angus beef stir-fried with bell peppers and onions in a smoky, lightly sweet, and savory sauce. The dish was coated with a glossy, sticky glaze that clung beautifully to the beef, which was incredibly tender and bursting with flavor. Every bite was rich in garlic and spices, making the dish both savory and satisfying. The customer service was exceptional; our server was attentive and friendly, even bringing us a complimentary Foutne Cookie Ice Cream dessert, which added a delightful sweet ending to our meal. Overall, the experience was excellent, and I look forward to returning to Lazy Sister soon.

Popular menu items include birria tacos, octopus, shrimp ceviche, and steak chimichurri. My daughter and I visited here for her birthday, and we both love Latin cuisine. As we walked in, we were greeted warmly and shown to our seats immediately. It was a chilly day, and the restaurant felt cold inside as well. The staff tried to warm things up with space heaters, but they didn't quite do the trick. We ordered empanadas, birria tacos, hanger steak, and sweet plantains with crema and queso fresco. When the dishes arrived, they were lukewarm--a bit disappointing, considering how cold it was outside. The birria tacos were delicious, though again, they could have been hotter. The meat was tender and well-seasoned, but I would have liked it a bit crisper. The hanger steak was tender, and the Pico de Gallo was bursting with flavor, pairing perfectly with the steak. It was nicely seasoned and had a good-sized portion. The empanadas were tasty, with flavorful and plentiful meat. The plantains were extremely delicious. The crema and queso fresco helped bring the whole dish together beautifully. The customer service was friendly, but the food could have been hotter; still, the flavors and seasonings were spot-on.
