This is my 4th time here... the customer service is top notch and my nails / toes are beautiful and excellent quality. Mimi & Tracy have done my nails & Linda my pedicure. They do exactly as desired and do a single nail for confirmation prior to doing the others. They have new modern massage chairs, adult and nonalcoholic beverages and very relaxing music. First off, I have been without my all-time favorite nail tech since August 2021. But by the grace of God and happenstance, I found her today!!!! MiMi is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! She was formally a tech and U Need Nails and when she left so did I. Problem was...didn't know where she went ‍. I've gone to a couple of other places including a Plano salon but MiMi gets it right EVERY SINGLE TIME! I'm extremely particular and she's talented. I went to this salon for the first time today and I must say that I was impressed!! Very nice & attentive staff and the work and pedicure done by Mary was Phenomenal!!! She allowed me to tailor designs to my liking and is a perfectionist when it comes to her work! Terrible experience at this establishment, Saturday was my first time visiting the Q nails spa cedar hill. They were busy, but after 10 minutes they sent me to seat on the chair to do my pedicure. After 15 minutes a lady to assist me saying, "sorry." I absolutely understood that but was willing to wait. However, after the lady begin to start to do my pedicure and I noticed that she was using her tools from a little box and I asked, "Ma'am I have a question, this is my first time here and I didn't see you using an "sterilized" package of tools to do my pedicure." She responded that she is too busy doing many things around but she brought everything from the back. So I said, anyway I didn't see you and you supposed to open the package on front me. And then she opened one package and started doing my pedicure talking to the other in her language and all of of a sudden they were all looking at me, which made me even more uncomfortable. She was wearing a gray dress a little over her knees and when she sat down in front of me, all I could see was her underwear. My mom and my friend next to me told me they saw it also. I was so uncomfortable? She left and didn't say nothing to me and sent a man with a big tool to do my heel and didn't have any callus on my feet to use that thing. He filed my heel so aggressively, hurting both heels. I said OUCH, but he just said are you okay. I said enough already don't use that. After my horrible experience I wanted to share with others to be careful with Q Nails in Cedar Hill, Tx. By the way I work at at Cosmetology school and very familiar with the rules on sanitation, sterilization and disinfection precautions. Haven't had a pedicure since Covid started 2 years ago and it was delightful to have one finally. I went on a Sunday afternoon around 3 and the place wasn't too busy. I went with the deluxe pedicure and my technician was gentle and professional. Great overall first time experience. read more

This place is AWFUL! I only had a pedicure here, but the lady insisted on skimping on EVERYTHING. She skipped some steps to the pedicure, consistently got up and left, and didn't say a word to me. I was really looking forward to this as I love getting pedicures and it's a rare treat for me. Overall, I am severely disappointed. Will never come back here. First time visiting this place and I am not impressed. This place charges more than some of the others I've visited for pedicures but their service is subpar. My nail tech cut me and I yelped in pain, she didn't even say sorry just kept going. The massage portion was weak and the water was cold. The "hot stones" she used were cold. I went there yesterday expecting the same professionalism from past visits (over a year ago). In the past, a pedicure to include callus removal, cuticle trimming, sugar scrub, foot and leg massage was $20.00 and took 30-45 minutes. Now the basic pedicure, and I mean very basic is $25.00 and takes 15 minutes. It included soaking of feet and nail clipping ~ nothing more. I could have done that at home! The callus removal, cuticle cutting, sugar scrub, foot and leg massage are all extra, climbing upward to $60.00! The young lady who attended to me was rude and on her cell phone (earbuds in) while working on my feet and spend more time cleaning her tools in the same water my feet were in, than working on my feet. These businesses that claim to be having a hard time are not helping themselves. No one answers their phones, they don't even bother to put a message on their phones. If they have a website, the information is not current and if they are listed on Yelp or other similar apps, the information is incorrect also. This nail shop was a disappointment. I was having a basic pedicure and cut me to the point where she was had to wipe blood SEVERAL times - then finally because it would not stop bleeding she had to put neosporin cream and a bandaid. I had inquire on a discount and first she wasn't going to do that??? Really? There wasnt even an apology. Their prices are a little priceyas my son had a basic pedicure and that was $20. I don't even recall seeing their prices published. She finally gave me $5 off..very disappointed and will be monitoring my toe. I plan to contact the management. read more

This is the 1st & later time I will visit this salon. I might add that if you value your health, you seek another salon, as the tech that did mine was about to use tools that looked like he had used them all day. That was a nightmare of an experience. I asked him not to cut my nails, he cut them too short. Everything I started to tell him how I needed my nails done, he told me not to worry he knew because he was the technician. Bottom line...he messed up my nails so badly & he yelled at me when I told him that I was not happy with my nails! I was very disappointed with the service here. My daughter and I both came for the dip nails and pedicures. The lady that did my nails was very rude and acted like she had no idea what she was doing. She also used a severely dirty towel. When it was time for my pedicure she cut both my heels very badly to the point it hurts to walk and also took a good size chunk out of my big toe which also is very painful 3 days later... The guy that did my daughters nails seemed a little better but did not shape her nails at all. Both pedicures look awful! But the lighting in the salon was so bad we couldn't tell until we were outside. By then I just wanted to go home... horrible and exhausting experience that should have been nice and calming! read more

I recently moved to Texas last year in May. The lady who had done my nails before had been doing them for close to 10 years. Needless to say, I've been very hesitant to allow someone else to do them. I can be VERY picky and honestly haven't had the mental strength to put another person through my frustrations. I had been having "the dip" done but it has not only wrecked my natural nails but also my wallet. After spending months examining every female person's nails that I came into contact with, I found one I really really liked! She stated "Jen" did hers and so I requested her. I was not disappointed. Jen was very attentive and did a wonderful job. She's not quite like my other lady I'm used to but I'm willing to bet she can be! $35 later and I am very happy. Thanks again Jen! read more
