I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY WORST ENEMY! ZERO STARS I spent weeks growing my toe nails so that they could be squared for my wedding. As soon as I sat down, my toenails were trimmed down to the bone almost, even though I said I wanted a square shape, she had the audacity to say "I'm not done filing yet". I even showed photos of what I wanted. Well, now she's "done filing" and my pinky toe looks like it belongs in a Shrek movie as a foot double for disgusting feet!! From moment I walked in, we were treated with such contempt and rolling eyes, like we were such an inconvenience- Well I'm sorry I brought THREE of my friends to get you more business!! And None of their nails came out the way they wanted. I've also been to this place alone, and it sucked then, but I was hoping it was a one off thing, and maybe it was just a bad day. But now I've been there like thrice, and it kept getting from bad to worse. Cedar Hill Nails did an AMAZING job !! This was my first time at this location and they do take walk-ins but I definitely recommend calling to book. I asked for a full set french tip, and showed her my inspiration picture and they looked even better than the picture!!! They didn't take too long (1hr) and they offer you drinks while you are having your service. They are so friendly and welcoming! I usually get my nails done in Downtown Dallas-uptown area. Got spoiled I guess. Didn't seem clean here. Everyone sharing top coats and dip polish. Same price for this spot vs. a top notch-spoil a girl- pedi and dip($70). Tech realized she didn't apply the same amount of powder to both hands as one hand's nails looked almost transparent. Will wait to see what my nails look like in a few days. Asked for a color that must match for toes and hands. Needless to say, no peep toes this week. I tried to walk in for the aura in 3 other spots in same area- walked right back out. Oh well, lesson learned. Nailed, Miniluxe and Beyoutiful nails in uptown are the best bets for me. I should have never cheated on my nail lady. Not satisfied. At all. I'll just keep driving to Arlington. Complete waste of money.

I tried this place twice, the first time I went it was okay. I got a light color they did 2 coats but it was still see through. So I asked for a 3rd coat the lady only did it on the big toe and left the other ones how they were. The location is great because it's right next to Marshalls so you can go get your toes down and walk around after. The second time I went, I think I was alittle more cautious and aware to see if this was going to be my new place or not. & sadly it won't the main reason being they are not clean with their process at all. To remove the gel off my toes they used an obviously used drill bit with no little covers or anything. The buffer was used as well you can see the white steaks in it. Then for like the cheese grade thing they use to scrap my feet they pulled it out the bottom drawer used it. Once they were done they threw it in the dirty water my feet were soaking in. Did the hot towels and massage part. Then when they drained the water they just sprayed down the cheese grader thing and put it right back in the same drawer / spot they grab it out to use I felt soooo disgusted at this point I just wanted to be done so that I can go home. There is no way this place is up to code or follows proper disinfectant procedures. The people are nice which is why I gave 2 stars. But I won't be back because of the cleanliness. read more

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. This was the absolute worst nail experience I've ever had. No one said anything to me when I walked in THEN I asked for the deluxe lemon martini pedicure.. the girl was sloppy with all the supplies, barely massaged my legs & DID NOT massage my feet. It clearly states "deep relaxation massage" then I asked if she was not going to rub my feet & she said "I mean...I will if you want me to"....WHAT?!? So she rubbed each foot for approximately 60 seconds, painted my toes and that was that. I complained to management because for $45, I expect a much better experience - I was given $10 off my pedicure. I also had my nails dipped, the man that did those did a sloppy job and asked me to rinse my hands in the pedicure bowl instead of the sink. I've never been so appalled by a nail salon. I was a loyal customer of this nail salon, but I felt like I had to share how I was treated when I had a manicure/pedicure three weeks ago.  I went in for a manicure/pedicure as usual and Kim the owner gave me a new person to do my pedicure I notice while I was in the chair that my foot begins to hurt and I just figured that I had so much callous well I finally told the guy doing my pedicure that he was hurting me so he stopped and went to get some hot towels and stones for the rest of my pedicure while in the  chair my foot really begin to hurt while he was gone and I decided to take a look at my foot and to my surprise my foot was bleeding in three spots where I was cut that is why my foot was hurting the guy that was doing my pedicure never said a word, and I know he had to have seen that my foot was bleeding.  I called for the manager Kim, and when she came she apologize so did the guy that did my pedicure and she said I would take one of your services off your bill for the mishap that is the only reason why I stayed.  When I got ready to leave Kim checked me out and charged me for all services she didn't take anything off for the mishap I upon paying I thought my bill was expensive, but I didn't question it until I got home that is when I caught the error so I called the nail salon and spoke with Kim about it and for this reason I will not be back after being a longtime patron. Kim tells me on the phone; she does not remember telling me that she was going to discount my bill for the pain and suffering that was done to my foot/feet.  I was very disappointed with this establishment. I expected better customer service for what I received, especially since my foot was bleeding.  Please beware it seems that they are more interested in making money than their customers.....I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED. My foot is still recovering/healing from the cuts; I don't know how the healing would be if I were a diabetic. read more

We walked in because it was my daughter's birthday. The place was completely empty. We asked for a manicure pedicure. The woman at the front asked if we wanted specialty pedicure or gel, we said no. She literally looked at us and said it's a slow day so they were closing up for the day? WTF? They finally get a customer and don't want it??? Never again! Tried to go somewhere new. Thought because it's Wednesday they would take their time. Only needed a pedicure. One lady started and was moving the cuticle tool around my nails but wasn't cutting anything, basically tapping around and then wiping the tool. Finally another lady came over to finish and did a little better but the polish job was sub par. There's no real shape to the nails and they didn't clean around the polish to give it a clean look. Every step was rushed, they kept getting nervous when someone new would walk in. Maybe I expected too much from a 40 pedicure with no gel. Maybe the C team was working. read more

Let me start with my first service, I received a pedicure which was scented with milk and honey, I left with my feet extremely soft but it was very obvious the nail polish had no life left in to and it was expired.... 5 hours after my visit the polish still was kinda wet and it would move and was a little sticky. I did forget her name but my pedicure was great other than the nail polish not being competent in its longevity, I loved her work though. She is the only reason I'm giving this 2 stars, her pedicure was at least 4 stars but I'm compensating for the absolutely poor nail technician. Now I believe in multi tasking to get a job done..... but when you're handing someone's hands and nails with a machine that can literally tear skin and cause injuries.... do not be watching a Facebook live stream. The whole job was messy, I had nail glue completely attach my skin to the sides and under my nail together. I had to go home and finish the filing my self. I got coffin shape and it was all sorts of asymmetrical.... like the top was slanted on all my nails. I didn't realize this until I got in my car. I've attached photos of the nails after I tried fixing them and you can still tell this person didn't give any f***s about quality. Even gave a tip ($20) and said it goes to the lady who did my pedicure and she pocketed the money.... really wish I got their names. I'm originally from Houston and the nail business there is incredibly prestigious and luxurious and it's a very different atmosphere there with pedicures and manicures. But these nails I got looks like i could have done them myself with some hard effort and focus. I spent 2 and 1/2 hours there..... for what? Now that's the real question. Lord please dnt visit here! They don't greet black people. I seen all races come through the door and were greeted and assisted while they just starred at the black women who walked in. Including myself. After my pedicure she did not offer my one use flip flops she just left me in the chair. After I asked for the disposal shoes she then told me " you can wear those" as she pointed to my nice Sandles risking getting nails polish on them wow Also my pedicure with a set price somehow jumped between when I asked for nothing extra. I was not notified about my price until I checked out ? When did it go up ? No clue after I asked her how she replied response is " This is America everybody should now" wow. Something crazy to assume being me and her both aren't from America You would definitely tell customers when additions are being added to their tab especially with a simple service. Won't return! This review is way over due. I just moved away from this area, and this old saying holds true: You never know what you have until it's gone. I can't find anyone as good as Cindi. I went to her for 5 years. The best in the Dallas area. They won't rip you off here and Cindi does an impeccable job. My nails always looked perfect after. They would never lift or chip. I was always very happy with her work. She is great at solar nails, gel no chip, pedicures and waxing. Tip well and they will remember you here. Having a margarita machine doesn't hurt either. read more

Wow worst place I've been this far.. Just moved from California and it's so hard to find a good nail salon.. I'm not saying everyone in this nail salon is bad maybe it was just the person that I got stuck with.. 1 - the utensils she used on me (nail clipper, cuticle remover, etc) they were just thrown in her drawer obviously not sanitized from the last customer she used them on .. I saw her using the same ones on another customer she started on while I was drying my nails 2 - I asked for white tip manicure so when she was adding the clear coat on my whole nail white smears got on my nail.. The white tip hadn't dried yet so it smeared it on my entire nail the clear coat she was using was almost gone and was super crusty and the brush was full of lent that got on my nail 3 - I pointed the smears to her and she ignored me and kept doing what she was doing I finally pulled my hand from her and asked her to use a different white coat because it had gotten white polish on the brush making the rest of my nails smear she got a new one and finished my nails .. I asked her if she was going to fix the smeared ones and she said to let them dry that it will disappear 4 - it didn't disappear .. The manager or owner not sure who she was came and asked if I was happy with my nails and I told her no and explained what was wrong she then said that the lady was going to fix them.. She did fix them but was sarcastic and rude while fixing my nails acting like it was my fault not hers that she smeared my nails I usually don't complain if they do a bad job I just leave and never come back but it's not fair to pay and not be satisfied read more

This place is amazing!!! I have had solar nails for about 8 years now and this is the only place I trust to do my nails. I have been going to them for about the whole 8 years and gone to a few different places here and there. After experiencing other places this is the only place I trust. They do exactly what you tell them you want to do. After going here awhile they know me and know exactly what I want which is nice. I usually go to Danny, he is amazing!!! I've lived in Cedar Hill going on 11 years, and I tried LaBella Nails 2 years ago. It was in a great location, however, the service was horrible for the money and the techs are quite rude. I could never find anyone who could actually file and shape your nails correctly. The nail tech Julia did my nails a couple of times and she kept wanting to give me the long pointy stilleto nails look, after I specifically asked for the squared look, and I never saw any utensils being sterilized. I decided to stop going and that was in 2016. In July 2018, I thought I would give them another shot, maybe they changed management, and I got a full set and a pedicure. They nails were oddly shaped, too flat and wide, I felt like nothing was really done to my feet, not enough sanding the bottom of my feet, and the tech just reached into her drawer and proceeded to use the cuticle remover. I left there very disappointed and it cost me $85, at which time they were closing and rushing through their work and it caused me to leave my shoes behind, which I picked up the next day. Definitely not the best set of nails I've ever had. The people that work there are nice..but that's not enough for me to be back.

No No No and no again. The gel nails cost way too much and didn't last long at all. It started to peel at the ends in less than a week. Mainly because she didn't clean up the cuticles and the polish was touching the skin. I tried to help her fix it before I left which just created more problems. I needed her to remove the the old polish which, I'm not sure if she used acetone or regular remover as she ending up almost grinding my nail beds trying to get it off. I explained to her that my nails are natural and you can't treat them that way. Needless to say my nails chipped on the ends because of the way she filed them, the polish did not set, she had an attitude problem, the facility was not really clean and I didn't feel welcomed to come back. Recommended by a friend who loves this salon, I had a horrible experience getting a pedicure. The technician did not clean under the free edge of my toenails. He was putting on my shoes and a clear coat of polish on when I realized something was missing and he hadn't done that. When I inquired about it he was extremely passionate in letting me know that he did - elevated voice and all. He then proceeded to express that just because I did not feel nor see him do it doesn't mean it wasn't done. I used the file from my own nail clippers to clean under my nails and of course there was dead there. All he did was look at me and continue to say that he had done it. The technician next to us offered that it needs to be requested. I suppose cosmetology schools no longer teach students to clean under the free edge of nails. When I asked the manager if that is something that is a regular part of the service she too became passionate - with an elevated voice - to say that it's not good to do that to your toes. I supposed it means dead skin and whatever else accumulates under the free edge of the nail is suppose to be there.....always. That's just unsanitary. I left without a color of polish and was charged the same amount of money for the pedicure in spite of the complaint. I wish there was a regulatory agency that I could report this to, but the watchdog for this issue just doesn't exist. read more
