I went for a color change and the guy said I needed a fill. (I didn't) I told him if he felt he needed to do the fill he could. I went in with almond shape nails and came out with crooked pointy nails. My husband said what the hell happened to your nails. I went back in and asked for them to remove them as there is no fixing a pointy completely over filed crooked nail set. When I tried telling him about my nail, he said it was my finger! The manager in charge is already upset because I'm not happy with my nails. I even apologized for complaining, so I thought if someone else was available then they can do another plain almond set. I figured put me back to where I was. When I mentioned it to her, this girl rolled her eyes and yelled, "Why didn't you tell me that before I started taking off your nails!" I told her what is the difference between me telling you now, you can't use this set he ruined the shape. She responded I don't have that many people working. I told her don't do them then, and she responded, I'll just give you your money back. Note 3 people came in asking for nails and they are getting their nails done. Good luck. Everything about this service seemed off and unprofessional and if I could give this 0 stars, I would. Got here hours before closing and somehow still feel like they rushed through the services I requested. I was never spoken to nor acknowledged unless they needed to ask a question which was hardly ever, they just chatted amongst themselves. I got cuts on almost all my toes from them filing AGAIN after my nails were already cut and filed (what more did they need to file?) she also never apologized. I was asked if I wanted gel in which I said no, which they then began to talk me into it, practically forcing me to get it. The lady who did my nails seemed bothered when I was asked if I wanted to continue with my nail art (I showed a reference pic first at the front to ensure they can do this) they then proceeded to try and talk me out of it which at this point I was so uncomfortable with everything else that I said no to finishing the set I actually wanted. After this the lady immediately left and I proceeded to pay, still don't know what exactly I paid for since they prefill your sheet and don't review anything again, even after I made changes. Once I paid and wrote the tip (which I still did since I know what it's like working for tips) the lady immediately grabs the receipts and says she can fill the rest and basically rushes me out. I used to love this place years ago and this was my go to spot but after this visit, I probably won't ever be back, save yourself the headache, pain and the overcharging for a much better experience elsewhere. read more

I am incredibly disappointed with LaBella. I have been going here since they opened a few years ago and generally have found it to be ok. Lately though, the service has been horrible. I went in 5 days ago on a weekday morning and there was only one other customer there. I thought I would get a decent dip since they could obviously take their time. Not so! The nails were clipped all different lengths with 3 of the fingernails almost cut to the quick. (I asked for them trimmed to end of my finger - she did one correctly, then proceeded to butcher them). The dip looked nice at first and I wasn't going to post, but after paying $35 for something I expect to last at least 2 weeks, they began to chip. The first one chipped after just 2 days! The pics show what they look like after 5 days. They guy that works there saw that I wasn't happy. I showed him the unevenness before I left and he said he could only "take care of me" the next time I come in. I told him my name and he didn't even write it down as he said he would remember. I'm traveling and can't even get someplace to repair this mess. Sorry, done with this place. read more

Overpriced. I've never gone to a salon that charges extra for the SHAPE of the nail. You would specifically have to get only square nails, every other shape is an additional charge. I went here with a friend and she got a simple design on her natural nail with clear polish and her total was $68 which was more than my own nail set which was acrylic french tips. Her nail tech also did not inform her of how much her nails would be while she was getting them done so she was not at all prepared for the price. So my second time coming and this time I was a bit upset. I got a pedicure and was seen right away so everything was good until I notice that my big toe nails were not evenly shaped. I showed my friend and she even agreed they were not even but 3 different women including the one who was doing my pedicure wanted to go back in forth with me about how they were straight when they weren't instead of just fixing the issue. Eventually after going back in forth she some what fixed my nail but I shouldn't have to go back in forth with multiple people or have them talking about me in another language right in front of me. read more

The products that the nail techs use at cheap my nails kept getting fungus and breaking. I had to keep returning to get nail repair. I went there for about four months and finally after getting fungus on four of my nails I just couldn't go back. I got a pedicure and the lady cut my foot. I'm diabetic I told her so I couldn't get a pedicures so I continue to get toe polish change and she never wanted to clean her station she would have nail residue and she would not use any kind of cleaning solution after each person gets along was beautiful, but it just didn't fit my needs so I will never go back. read more

I went back for another visit. This is probably my fifth or sixth time going to LaBella. I had a different person this time and the last time I went. I did not like my nails the last time I went, nor this time. She buffed my nails too deep and it started to burn. It made a black mark on one of my fingers because she buffed it too fast or down too low. I had to tell her to even my nails up. My right hand nails were noticeably longer than the left hand nails. Almond shaped nails are five dollars extra. Which I did not know nor is it on the check in paper when you get there - unless I didn't see it. She ended up not charging me for the almond shape - I don't think it was an extra charge anyway - so it was $35. I got the dipping powder with an accent color. Somehow between me choosing my color and it going on my nails it was totally different than what I asked for. The pink color that you see in the pictures is more transparent than the color I actually picked. I mentioned it to her when she brought it to me and opened it up and I said it seems to look lighter than what I chose. Even after the first layer I asked her was it the same color and she said yes. Turns out that was a lie! What I chose was a nicer soft pink than the transparent one that you see in the pictures. I most likely won't be back. This is the second mess up out of five or six times that I've gone. It would be different if there was just a mistake, but these are things that could be prevented. All you would have to do is double check the color. Last time my cuticles looked even worse than they did this time. That's even after paying the extra three or four dollars for them to cut my cuticles with the metal tool. I'll have to reopen my nail shop search. read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. I had my gel on for 2 days before it chipped and then each day a new nail chipped and was peeling off. When I called in to get them fixed they said it was fine and they'd fix them but when I got here they all the sudden had this "policy" (nothing in writing) saying that they don't fix nails that are over a week old. You also get charged an extra $5 if you want your cuticles removed which what's the point of getting your nails done if you didn't want your cuticles removed?? BUT if you do get them removed expect for a little (lot) blood! To say this was my worst experience at a nail salon would be an understatement.. and I don't feel bad about saying that because they didn't feel bad about not doing a single thing to help me. read more

I've been in Texas since the end of January. I had found a nail spa and a nail tech (Michael) that was perfect for me. I've been seeing this nail tech for months. The nail tech has since went to another location over 30 minutes from me. What a bummer!!! So I decide to see another nail tech. I was very explicit about what I wanted. She was very talkative, which could be a good thing, but she wasn't Michael. I did tip her, as well as the foot tech, because that what I do. However, I'm not very happy with the results from my powder nails. It's hard to see in the picture. But the nail form is neither smooth nor flawless. These are my natural nails, just dips in powder. A few of the nails on each hand are buckling (humps). Not even as smooth as my natural nails. I guess I'll be making that 20+ mile trip to see Michael. read more

Today I was asked to put a mask on and I told them no it's not mandated and I have my injections. Extremely disappointed in the level of customer service here. I got acrylic nails and a pedicure a week ago and I've been back to the shop twice since. I love my nails but the gel (that I paid extra for) kept lifting. On my third visit to the shop, the lady who did my pedicure says that I should've asked for a refill and now I need to pay again ... why would you put gel on my toes without refilling a nail that's grown out? Great service! They really took their time with our mani and pedi combo. Clean place. We got there 30 minutes after opening on a Sunday and it was packed. The employees were very friendly. Rating is for 3.5 stars instead of 3. Walking into the door, the salon is really nice and big. It's also quiet, which is relaxing. You sign in, marking the services you want with the prices listed next to them. They're a bit higher than normal salons that I normally go to but not by much. I was seated and a man cane to go my nails. He was rough, quiet, and seemed a little annoyed I wanted a cut down. We didn't speak the whole time except for me confirming what I wanted or saying ouch. The polishing wasn't amazing either but luckily, it's mine so I'd be able to fix touch up if needed. You can tell they have their regulars, who were greeted way more enthusiastically than other and was offered drinks. It was a weird dynamic cause I observed them being pushy to some people and sweet to others. Would I come back? Only if my shop was closed again. A lot of people were getting pedis so I'm thinking that's something they're really good at.. but my normal acrylics were okay I got a polish change on my toes + fill with cutdown and paid 28. The man at the register charged me based on my ticket and didn't add the additional 8 my tech said it would cost since I had stiletto. read more

Let's start with the pros of this nail place: 1. Very nicely set up. Great atmosphere. That's it. That's all. So I came to this particular nail salon, to get a polish change on my toes. Since I had never been here before I didn't feel comfortable getting a pedicure. So I walked in and the lady at the counter greeted me and asked "would you like your nails and toes done today" I said "no actually I would like a polish change on my toes" she gives me this side eye look as if my service was less than. So she tells me to fill out the sheet, which I do but I couldn't find the "polish change" on the list so she takes the pen and does it for me. Then I stood on the side and she told me to pick a color. COLOR RANGE... not so great. So I waited about ten mintues and was told to sit in a chair. I do so and wait for my UNFRIENDLY pedicurist to come.. and she watching Netflix on her phone as she removes my toe polish. There was no greeting or hello, not once was I asked did I want water. And to top that off she messed up my pinky toe, she decided it would be a great idea to place my jandels on instead of the flip flops they already have. She noticed that she messed them up and walked to get the color to correct it... chose the WRONG color and walked away and started on another customer. Not only did her manager have to fix my toes but BRIANNA the lady who did my toes did not even apologize for her actions. I will NOT be coming back. Thanks but no thanks. read more

Definitely do not recommend going here. I got dip on my nails in a light pink color. I asked the lady if she could please add more dip to my nails because the color was so light that I could still see my nail beds. She snapped me and told me she wasn't finished yet. So, I let her finish. After she was done I was very unpleased because you could still see my nail bed on every single nail after she said she was going to fix it. She did nothing to make me happy and walked away after I told her I didn't like them. Love this nail salon!! I've never been able to find one specific nail salon that I would go to all the time, however, this nail salon has changed that. I go here every time I need my nails done. Amazing customer Service and awesome prices! They also have every color imaginable in regular polish, Gel, and dip! I went this past Friday to get my nails done and on Saturday while at work i dropped a fixture on my thumb and it broke off my nail, I went in today (Monday) and they replaced my nail free of charge. They have been a little short staffed lately, so it's taken awhile to get my nails done as the people are jumping from person to person (It took 40 minutes to get my thumb nail replaced). I think I had three different people work on my thumb nail today. So my only suggestion would be to hire more nail techs. read more

My first time going there was last year while visiting because my mom would always go to Kevin. He did great on my nails. Danny however needs a new day job.. they all do unfortunately.. go to real nail techs who actually are booked and busy. After getting my nails and a pedicure here and spending $140 I had two nails literally pop off within a week. No break.... They came off on their own. I went to have them repaired and waited almost 2 hours before just leaving without even having my nails repaired. I hate going to new nails salons because I can never find someone that does what I want. However, I absolutely LOVE this place. I've been there twice with two different nail techs and they both did a wonderful job. Verna was so sweet and lovely and very honest too. I plan on going to get my nails done by her from now on. Seriously, they do a great job for a great price! Update* So after going here for a few months now I have mixed emotions about Labella... Kevin and Verna are great, but some of the other nail techs not so much. I've been getting coffin nails, and the girl who did them this time (I didn't get her name) told me that the design I wanted wasn't a design, and painted them all pink. After speaking to the manager I was able to have Kevin do a marble design on my nails. The moment I walked out it looked like I already needed a fill (the same thing happened when Julie did my nails). After a week, my nails were already lifting and one was about to fall out. After discussing it with the manager she said she'd fix the two lifted nails free of charge. It hasn't even been a week and the nails that were "fixed" have already broken off and the rest of my nails have lifted. Their techs that do pedis though, are wonderful and I love the service they provide. Although I have been unhappy with my nails lately I have to give them credit where it's due. read more
