I've been coming to this location (Cedar Hill / uptown shopping center) for years now, and even with now living almost an hour away , I still try to come at least once a month. My eyebrows are already naturally thin and scattered all over the place , but the ladies here still always manages to clean me up so neatly without taking away so much and making me look even more bald faced lol. I usually go to the lady that operates from seat #1 by the checkout counter. We always have a great interaction/ conversation during my visits . She's really sweet and knowledgeable about her profession. She's always giving me ideas on new things to try , different places to go , foods to try, etc .. She suggested that I try the eyebrow tinting , and I really want to only I wipe my forehead too much and I'm scared I'd accidentally wipe them off. She suggested eyebrow Microblading only that's permanent and I'm scared I might not like the final results. I have gone to Perfect Brow twice now, I feel like the service each time has been on the low side, they seat people fairly fast but there is no "customer service" associated with anyone there, just in and out. The actual service I received the first time was just a routine threading, but today I opted for threading, color and lamination. Currently my brows look like Burt's from Bert and Ernie as I need to allow them to finish processing. I have had my brows laminated before elsewhere when I left that establishment they gave me an at home kit for brushing and moisturizing them along with detailed instructions. At Perfect Brow today, I received no at home kit or any after care instructions, the dos and don'ts are fairly important so you don't ruin your brows so instructions should be given at least on a hand out to clients. I guess all in all it's a shop that that provides a fairly inexpensive service or services and the end results are fairly mid so maybe this is one of those things you get what you pay for, so my recommendation would be just that; if your looking for "ok" for the price give them a shot, if you're looking for a personalized experience and some pampering, Perfect Brow doesn't offer that on the menu. read more

I'm very disappointed in the manger, I've come here for 5+ years. I usually go to Pam and call to make sure she's there but today i didn't and i thought i barely caught them open so I'm thankful for that. The site says 10pm and she kindly let me in and i checked in then she gets me from the waiting area and said i came late and they close at 7pm and i told her sorry i usually call and she ignored me and started on my face pressing so hard & ripping the thread multiple times on my lip & eyebrows. I felt like I got sliced all over my face. Then she gives me the mirror and my brows are small with a new shape and disagreed and didn't put aloe on my face, we go to pay which i had no issue doing but she acted some kind of way like if i wasn't.... And i still tipped her after checking me out another customer comes in and she kindly takes her back and tells her she closed at 7 and I'm looking in the mirror cleaning the hair off my face with the Kleenex and she tells me i can leave that their closed and starts speaking her other language and i told her she was being rude and left. The head lady completely took off half of my eyebrows, left them uneven and tried to give me an invalid credit when I asked for my money back. She called me crazy for confronting her about my uneven and bald eyebrows. Love coming here. I've never had to wait when I walk in, and the girls do a good job. The place may look small when you walk in, but don't let it fool you. There are more chairs in another room that isn't readily visible from the front. I also leave with very little, to any, redness or irritation. Price is right as well. This is about the Manager on duty on 8/ 25/2019- They have a glass display that states Items in the cabinet is 75% off. I was going to purchase an Item that cost $66.00 and I asked one of the ladies to let me know how much it was after the discount. She came back to me and said it was $ 33.00. I said that is not 75% off of $ 66.00 well the Manager said it was $33.00. When the item came back to me the Price Tag that read $ 66.00 had been removed. This is very unethical and a poor way to handle a business. I brought 3 of my sisters and my niece, with me.. Who will never go back. This place is really hit or miss. I've never had a consistently good experience. There is one lady in particular that I LOVE! We've become really friendly with each other over the past year, so she always makes sure to take her time and thread my brows with care. However; she's not always there. It's not a terrible place to get your brows threaded. You just never know if when they hand you the mirror you're gonna look shocked to see everybody or ready to slay. This place is unsanitary. Simple as that, these salons have certain guidelines that they must follow to keep their instruments sanitary for each client. When I got my lip waxed, I don't think she used a clean wooden stick because a few hours later I had red bumpy acne like skin on the area that she waxed above my lip, and I have waxed for years so I know I am not allergic at all. So they either used a stick that she'd used previously on other clients, or the wax they used is dirty itself. Sometimes what these ppl will do is double dip into the wax with a wooden stick that they've already made skin contact with on other clients, that cross contaminates the wax which is why I believe I got a bad experience at this salon. read more

I've been coming here for about 5 years and the quality of this place just gets worse and worse. I've had uneven eyebrows twice, but started asking for certain people so things got a little better. My last straw was coming in at 8:45 last week and getting told by the main lady "you're too late. No one will do eyebrows." After pleading and telling her I sped from work to get there by 9, she responded "oh well." The lady speaking to me was the lady I've always requested so I asked if they would stay open until their actual closing time for a regular customer. I turned to Yelp to find a place with the best rating for eyebrow shaping and Yelp didn't let me down. After all, who can review a business better than those who are paying for the services? I didn't know that this was brow threading, not waxing, and almost walked out because I had been told that threading is painful. I'm glad I didn't. There was no wait. I signed in on a computer and was seated immediately. I had my eyebrows painlessly threaded ($10 for eyebrows) and was done within 5 minutes. The blotchy redness I get from waxing was minimal. Seems like the shop's personnel have perfected the threading technique. The shop was clean and the employees were efficient. I am no a threading fan and will definitely return here. read more

I showed the lady the picture of how I wanted my eyebrows...I had them done there 3 weeks prior by Suzy and she did them the correct way for my face and eye shape and took a picture that day. Mahi did what ever the hell she wanted and made them a completely different shape that's not even for my eye shape and made them extra thin and uneven. I have naturally thick eye brows. When I told her that she didn't do what I asked and that they don't look the same as my picture her response was that they didn't look clean enough before and she didn't like them that way. I'm pretty sure if I asked for them a certain way then that's the way they should be done. I even gave a visual of my own damn eyebrows. I have been to this establishment several times with great service; however, the last visit was horrible. One brow BLACK, one brow not even tinted! Had to visit another salon to correct costing me twice what I was charged to redo. Never Again. They are not professional. Do not even consider this establishment especially for permanent anything! I was hesitant at first after reading some of the reviews but I was in Cedar Hill and didn't have time to travel to my usual brow place. The salon is nice and spacious. I was able to be serviced quickly and my technician was named Bobbie. I informed her I did not want to change the shape but just clean up around my brows and she did a perfect job! Actually she has probably done the best I have ever received! She was very sweet as well! Threading is always a bit painful but I have had technicians whose work is more painful than hers was. First and last time there; not satisfied one bit. When I walked in, a lady was lounging on the couch like a customer. I had no idea she worked there until she barked an order for me to sign in at the computer. Seeing as how this was first time there, I was unfamiliar with their process and the order in which customers were received. Then when she finally decided to get off the couch, she rudely pointed at the chair she wanted me to sit in. Then to make matters worse, the threading was more painful than what I usually experience. The only reason I stayed is because there isn't another place in close vicinity, otherwise I would have left before signing in. The results were basic and customer service is horrible. I am a two time paying customer of Perfect Brow. Both times I received poor customer service. I do not expect a drum roll upon arrival; a simple "hello" would do. The women point at a screen, where you are expected to sign in. This is followed up by someone else pointing to the chair that they'd like for you to sit. The only verbal communication comes when they are providing you with the total cost of your services. In short, they are rude. As a community we should support businesses who value our money and not accept impoliteness that is passed off as cultural ignorance. I've had my brows threaded here for the past six months. No plans to return to waxing. Seems the ladies here are able to achieve a better shape and for some reason it seems I'm able to maintain the shape for a longer period of time than when I had them waxed.
