Went today and didn't have the best experience. Left with a cut on my second toe and it's now looking all bruised. I had the male technician and he was so rough on my feet. Honestly probably the worst pedicure I've ever received. Even my left big toe was irritated and burning from him just being so rough. I even paid for shellac gel and as you can see on the big toe there's already a chip. They didn't even give me a discount or anything. Kept bleeding when I got home too. Some of my family usually comes here, so I decided to give it a try.. I called ahead to make an appointment, I wanted to be prepared which was good because they were turning people away who didn't have one. I showed the guy something I found that I wanted, similar or alike, and he said no they don't do design it was a simple cheetah print design on one of the fingers and some flowers , so I was like okay that's fine.. I'll just take the different colors of the nails.. and he said no, two colors, or ombré.. I was just like whaaat? Honestly I was mad and disappointed.. Once I was seated in his chair, I wasn't offered anything to drink or just the regular when you go to a nail salon.. you're pampering yourself, and it's usually included.. I would have rated the overall service a 5 star but the toe nail polish was looking strange immediately after the top coat was put on. She did attempt to correct it however no such luck. I believe it was the product that was faulty and the wait time between polish application and the top coat. I am a nex gen nail fan but this was the first time I've had dip and dap products. I was going here for months with no issues. I loved the fact that They did my manicure simultaneously with my pedicure. The one day, they randomly didn't. I asked why and was told by the staff that I need to ask for the dual service, and they aren't required to do them at the same time. I was so annoyed because the other staff members were just sitting around during my pedicure. Having to wait doubled my appointment time, and being in the salon for so long was no longer a relaxing experience. I decided to go back once more. They did the services at the same time, but my pedicure was not thorough. I shouldn't have to go home and exfoliate again because the pedicurist didn't do a good job. The employees' attitudes and lack of care now have me driving back to downtown Dallas to get my nails and toes done right. read more

Avoid. At all costs. First off, I was told I couldn't have a deluxe pedicure I had to get the next tier up that included paraffin. This is after my feet had been soaking for at least 5-10 min. I was ok with because I wanted a little pampering anyway. The person who did my pedicure cut my nails like the McDonald's arch. She dug into my cuticle to do so. At first I thought she was just cutting my cuticle and had nicked me but when I saw my big toe I almost cried. When I she told me they looked so good I responded this is what causes ingrown nails. The manager came over and explained how nails grow and the she must have seen something to warrant that digging. Ma'am. I have never had ingrown nails before. Every single toe hurts today. Normal, right? Oh and if you pay with a card they charge you a fee. Just avoid this dark lonely place. No pics because I'm too embarrassed. The opposite of why you get a pedicure. TRASH read more

Can I tell you how pristine and updated this salon is? From the moment I walked in and took in an overview of the place- I knew I found my new salon. 16 new, top of the line pedicure chairs and about 6 manicure stations. I was asked if I wanted something to drink upon sitting- wished for wine, I didn't ask/say it but "water" came out of my mouth. I saw a lady get handed a soda so I'm sure they have other options. I have to add that my OCD kicked in when I saw their color-coded wall of polish. It is completely organized by brand and then color. It's quite dreamy! I went for the next level up from deluxe pedicure because I wanted the callous removal (cracked heels) and paraffin treatment. ($45) A regular soak and polish (bare essentials pedi) is $25 and the next level is $35. I loved the meticulous attention to detail both in the massage and the paint. It was however, almost to a fault because it took us 2 and half hours for a deluxe pedicure and a regular manicure. #worthitthough I had a choice of 8 or 9 different fragrances to choose from. I chose Vitamin E- the fragrance was subtle but wonderful. They were all individually packed little packets of scrubs, oils, lotions and such. Very cool idea to keep with the clean design. I was please to know that 1) all tools are sterilized for each guest, 2) all files, pumice stones and buffers are one time use for each guest, and 3) they don't use the cheese grater. At. All. They do however use a hand drill to help with rough skin and callouses. It was great! Totally optional so if it's not your jam you can opt out. They let me stay in my massage chair (winning) while they conducted my manicure. A hand massage and perfect paint later and I was done. Love this little slice of hidden heaven- though it's not hidden seeing as though it's on a Main Street. I recommend it for sure!! read more

First time I came here to get a pedicure and nail set. I gave them a picture of the design I wanted and they said they don't do that. So i compromised and left feeling unsatisfied. The work was sloppy and effortless. I had to go somewhere else to have them fix it. I believe in second chances, so I came in as a walk-in with my daughter and said "hi" and no return greeting. Hands down the best dip powder set I've ever had. They know what they are doing here! I had Whitney and she shaped my nails to perfection. I have not been a fan of dip and how most salons are switching over to exclusively offering dip nails since most people cannot shape them at all but this place changed my mind. And they are cheap!! $55 for my full set with designs on one nail on each hand, $35 for my pedicure. The pedicure was great too! Hot rock massage, foot mask, hot towel wrap and this really refreshing mint scrub. This is definitely my new go-to salon! Well worth the drive (I live downtown so only 15-20 mins). The look of the place is nice contemporary and inviting. I was instantly greeted and was overwhelmed by the many choices for the dipping powder which is my choice of nail care. Kevin was extremely helpful in making a selection. I am a conservative person when it comes to my nails. I told him I wasn't satisfied with the current shape of my nails and he was able to relate to what I wanted. The customers on both sides were satisfied with their finished work and they did look good especially the lady with the stones. Now I know why! Y'all. From the moment I stepped in the door I knew I was home. I sat with Kevin, he was SO gentle and explained what he was doing through the whole process. Another gentleman checked on me several times, offered me a drink as well as my littles. Their courteous demeanor and attention to detail is outstanding! Checked the reviews and decided to stop in for a dip powder because I needed a service badly. From reading others' posts, this place is relatively new to the area and they supposedly specialize in dipping powder. This was my experience..... I entered the establishment and was quickly greeted by a young gentleman. I explained that it was my first visit and that I wanted dip powder on my natural nails. I was asked to choose a color. I love black and always choose it with a small design of some sort on each ring finger. I was left waiting to be told where to sit. After about 5 minutes a young lady asked to see my nails, I guess to check to see if I was wearing tips. She grabbed a bowl of warm acetone with cotton at the bottom and a large towel for cover. She asked me to place my hands inside. I wear black because I like the color. I usually soak my nails for quite some time and then rub them with cotton to remove the color. Now there was quite a bit of glitter on each ring finger from a previous service. It is necessary to soak longer. I was in no rush. Apparently soaking was taking too long. The nail tech (never got her name) wanted to use a sanding tool to remove the remaining powder. I wasn't comfortable with that and stated as much. So back in the bowl my fingertips went. And after another 10 minutes the powder and glitter was gone. I was asked to wash my hands and I needed to. Black stain was everywhere and my hands were sticky. I didn't see any brushes only soap and paper towels. I washed and scrubbed for I know a good 7 minutes to no avail. But it was the best I could do. Do you know the nail tech asked me if I used soap? (Damn!) After drying my hands she was finally able to get down to it. She dipped 3 coats and filed and shaped. Tools appeared to be old. My nails grow square and that's what I asked for though they appear square with rounded edges. I got 2 coats of clear on all but the ring fingers. She added the design and I put each hand in a timed dryer. She did NOT add a top coat to each ring finger. I asked if it was customary. She told me I didn't need it. Guess what U figured out after about 15 minutes.? I needed a top coat. I laughed my butt off when I realized it. The right ring finger smudged while I was fixing my seatbelt. Normally I would have been pissed but I watched the news during my service and there's so much pain and death in the world, a messed up nail is trivial. The place is large.... there are 16 seats for pedicures and 9 for nails. I paid $45.... read more

I wish this place was open 24/7 ! They are such a delight to work with and go ABOVE & BEYOND to make sure you are satisfied. Gary was awesome! He greeted me when I came in, made sure to explain all the services and also fixed my nails when I came back 45 mins after I initially left because my nails were too long for my liking. I forgot the lady's name that did my whole service, but she was so sweet and after talking revealed she had only been doing nails for a short while. This wasn't a problem, just surprising because I enjoyed my service with her without feeling like I was getting a rookie who was probably going to make mistakes. Unfortunately, my nails were too long for my liking but that was my mistake, not hers. I came back 45 mins afterwards to have them cut down a good amount so they could still be cute but practical. Gary sat me down immediately and began fixing me up personally to make sure I was honestly 100% satisfied. I hope their customer service and passion stays this way consistently throughout the years to come as they will be getting more and more customers. A place like this is bound to blow up with success. This is a rare gem to come by, on a whole different level of service. I'd hate to see this place turn into just any other nail shop already in Duncanville. Please please keep up the amazing work! There were several things I liked and disliked about my nails. It is the first time I visit and I'm not sure how I feel about this place. The lighting there didn't really didn't help to see all of the mistakes. This color needed a 3rd dip and all of the sides are too sanded down that they lose the color. Halfway through I ask if she was going to do anything to my cuticle and she said she wasn't finished yet and that she would, but as you can see she didn't do anything. also the place is a bit dirty for my taste and they don't sanitize the customers from what I can tell. So this is my usual spot but I got dip powder done about 3 weeks ago and I took my nails out and two of my fingers are green. This has never happened before and I usually get dip powder. So I'm worried. I took them out last night and my left index finger was dark green, nearly black same as my middle finger. It's lightened up now but I'm not sure what caused this. This is the only place I know of that does the coffin shape perfectly, similar to Instagram models and Kylie Jenner's nails. I drove 40-min out here based off another photo on their Yelp page and tracked down the nail tech responsible for the masterpiece. His name was Dewie (I may have butchered the spelling), and he assured me that he trained every nail tech there how to achieve that same well-shaped look. When I'm looking for a nail place, "how well their nail techs shape" is the #1 factor that goes into choosing. I got a gel color on top of my acrylic and was pleased to find it was not the least bit thick and almost appeared to be a colored acrylic because of how smooth and thin my nails turned out. I will definitely be making this 40-min commute a part of my routine schedule. read more
