I did not feel like a paying customer who deserved to be treated like someone's daughter. I was in a rush and needed to get my nails done before a work event the next day. I had two nails that needed to be repaired and I always get acrylic (for length) and gel polish (for long lasting coverage). I read a few reviews and decided to give this business a try. Huge mistake! When I walked in there was only one customer. That should have been the first red flag. All employees were lounging on furniture and engrossed in their cell phones. No problem. There was a weak attempt at a greeting before she asked what I needed. I sit down where she tells me and immediately in my face noticed a plastic divider that between me and the nail tech which would remind you of what we used more during Covid. Not only did we have that going on but they put an 8x10 paper of their services smack dab in the middle so you could not see her or your nails being done. Never ever in my life have I been to any nail shop that does this. That should have made it clear that they are on some different customer experience tip. Second huge red flag. She starts on my nails and never measured the length of the two new tips against the other two on the other hand which means she would have uneven nail lengths from one hand to the other. Her touch was aggressive. I started to feel hate coming from the other side of the table. It was weird, insanely uncomfortable, and it made me feel unsafe to be so unwelcome for no reason. She would work on my hand then throw it back at me when ready for the next hand. She did ask me if my nails were ok from time to time and I would tell her what to fix and there would be attitude through her body language as though I inconvenienced her. I was asking about the middle finger nail on my right hand because the nail was longer than I should have it for work, but she never filed it down right and the shapes of my nails go from almond to oval to stiletto depending on which finger you look at. I had enough of her unwelcoming behavior and low quality nail job. I wanted to get out of there before I said something that would lower my behavior to her level. I did not care to match energy but get as far away from this business as possible. Not certain if she is part of America that gets caught up in court cases associated with boycotts, but that may have been the very reason this business had no customers. I would NEVER give this business a second chance and my co-workers noticed the defects in my nails especially where she did not paint the sides of the nails, the different shapes, and the awful length differences. Zero quality. Unfriendly and hostile service, it guess who was first to the register? That is the only $55 this business would ever receive from me. The lady didn't like me from the beginning and I had no bad interaction with her until I was able to have both of my hands available for the last inspection. I told her I would never come back, expect a real candid review, and that she needs to have someone else start reviewing her work for quality after filing and shaping and before any final costs are applied, and I would not and could not tip her. I have to go to another business and nail tech and spend double to have this nightmarish job overhauled. I am so disappointed that employees treat good consumers like this. Spread the word! Do not ever visit this establishment. If the employees or owners do not like the community they serve relocate to where you do care about the community. I asked a young girl skipping toward us if my nails were even and the lady spoke in her native tongue likely commanding her to ignore me or lie, so the girl said "Yes," but would not dare look at me. As I leave the girl (not the woman but the girl appears to be related to someone at the shop) hops into a big body Lexus and takes off. Lexus is known to be a good car. Imagine if they charged her full price for a lemon (the Lexus). They would understand where consumers are coming from more of it hit them in their pockets. Gel already chipping day one, uneven nail lengths, inconsistent shaped nails on the SAME hand, paint missing on the sides of nails, and I am FORCED to get this shotty, unprofessional-looking work corrected. She wanted my time and my money. I would never treat people like this especially if I still charge you full price. I should not have to tell you how to do a basic nail job. I hardly ever write reviews, but I just have to say this so management is aware: From the moment I called the place to ask a simple "are you guys open?", to the moment I walked into this place, the employees were so short and rude with me. The lady that was speaking to me in a rude manner was watching her TV show on her phone, without ever pausing her show to look at me as we spoke. I asked her if she was the owner or the manger, she was clearly not. When I asked where the manager was, it was also clear that they were acting this way because they didn't have the manager on site. I was excited to find a clean place near where I just moved to, but I will never return here again. I hope management takes this seriously before they have to shut down for poor customer service. I had my 7 year old with me and the staff was so accommodating and friendly with making him feel comfortable and even giving him his own little foot spa and massage. This place is pretty nice inside and very clean. I was very pleased with the service. I came on a Tuesday evening at 6:00pm and was immediately seen with no wait time. The technician was very kind and personable. She did a nice job on my powder dip manicure. My only complaints... 1) two nails are slightly crooked. Nothing extremely noticeable, but obvious enough for me to be annoyed. 2) when waiting for nail coats to dry, they place your hands on a box of Kleenex. I though this was odd (and a little ghetto) but I rolled with it. Absolutely not! This was not the experience you would expect when getting treatment in any salon. They go through the motions with a bit of disdainment. They are not friendly - Not mean or rude but certainly not pleasant or friendly. I was the first person there when they opened on Saturday morning. They opened a few minutes late but that didn't cause me any concern. Things happen so I stayed and gave them a try. This was my second time coming here. I wasn't impressed the first time but wasn't completely turned off. While getting my nails done, a child peed on the floor (he was sitting near me but was in one of the chairs waiting not at a station being serviced), and the person doing my nails stopped to mop the pee. She hit the mop hard on the floor while the mom apologized and she splashed pee all over my feet and legs (they were under her station - that's how wild and sloppy she was - probably annoyed the kid peed). She didn't change the color on my nails just did the fill because "others were waiting". She rushed my nails and the sides were not filed evenly. When I asked for them to be fixed she said she couldn't see it. The massage chair did not massage - not in the water (whirlpool) or the chair itself. This was not the pedicure experience described on the brochure. The wax was too hot. The chair wouldn't move back. I only stayed for both services because they had numerous customers coming in so I wondered if my expectations were too high. From the heavy traffic coming in and waiting for services it is clear people enjoy their services. Or people have accepted they provide mediocre service.‍ As for me and mine, we will go somewhere else moving forward. read more

Note before the review because I think it's important: This shop has big, clear plastic barriers between you and the tech with a sign of their prices in the middle, so you can't watch them work. It's hard to give any kind of feedback while they're working cause you can't see what they're doing until they're done and they give you your hand back. I came in needing a new set. I asked for the same length and shape as my previous set which were still on my nails. The tech who did my new set also did the old one. She appeared to be in a huge rush. My nails were much shorter and very crooked and when I told her this, she raised her voice at me and told me she'd remove them. I told her there was no need and could finish and that I would pay, but she still continued to raise her voice. She kind of went on a rant about how hard she has to work and rushed to finish my nails. In the end, they were simply not what I asked for. She painted that rather sloppily, so I asked if I could come back the next day and get them removed. She did say she could remove them right then instead of me paying and waiting. The picture is her "cutting them down" and when I asked if she could totally remove them, she handed me a pair of clippers and told me to do it myself. I would've paid for the service of having these removed properly. Very disappointed in the way she handled me giving her feedback on a service I was expected to pay for. Would not recommend. Only 1-2 ladies work here at a time and they're always busy and rushing to finish your service. I got the milk & honey exotic pedicure. Tee (not sure of spelling) was so good! She was very detailed & the massage was one of the best I've gotten during a pedi. I also got a full set. Nee was absolutely the best! I appreciated how she communicated through every step as she did my nails and she also made sure to confirm the cost before proceeding. There is no way you won't be aware of their prices because they have them posted in plain view of the client but I appreciate the extra communication throughout the appointment. If I could zero stars I would. As just being new to Dallas region, I decided to try this salon based on the reviews. I called ahead for appointment and asked if they could do my nails this way and the $$$. I come in for my appointment and they sit me down. I told her I just wanted to do a dip fill. She said they don't do that. I said okay....so she proceeded to soak both of my hands in pure acetone. She removes all of the dip from my nails and asked what I wanted. I told her I wanted exactly how my nails were before she removed them (ombré dip with added tip) she said they don't do that here... i proceeded to say "I've seen them on your yelp page and this is a popular style", she said they don't do that.... I said okay I'll just do a solid color then. She gives me the color wheel and I asked if I could just do a natural dip and put a gel color on top (willing to pay extra because I like the way it turns out) and she said she doesn't do that here. I said "what nail salon doesn't do this? I feel like you're not able to do anything I want on my nails." I proceeded to look at the colors and she is saying over and over again "why don't you go to another salon. Have them do it for you", mind you I'm looking at the color wheel minding my business. She keeps repeating herself and I finally said "you don't need to give me a attitude. You can't do what I want, ok, I'll look at a color you can do." She then says she refuses to do my bails and that I could leave. So now I left he salon with dry acetone nails. The worst attitude I have ever experienced in the 50+ nail salons I've been to. Went to this shop today and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. No worries because I had to soak my nails off anyway. Picked my color and sat in Nee's seat as I selected my cookie off the wheel. I'm NEVER one to pick a bold color only soft, light colors. She then gets up and tell me to wait 5 mins. She then goes to ANOTHER young lady (Caucasian)who came in AFTER me and started to work on her nails. I guess my skin was dark?? After 10 minutes I started asking how long would it be because I have something to do and clearly I was here first. Nee NEVER responded and continued to work on the young lady's nails. When she did come over to me she had an attitude. I told her my nail choice (which was an extremely light pink color. As I'm looking at her work on my nails the color is more of a hot pink. I asked her if this was the right color and she scoots the powder over and said "look at it, this is the number you picked. I told her I don't think so but let me look at the wheel selection of the color I picked. She then said "You can soak them back off and start over." I told PLEASE let me see the wheels (I knew this was the wrong color). She finally gets the wheel and I asked her if this looks like the color on my nails. She then states the colors on the wheel get old and get lighter. WTH??? Rude, cuts your fingers up and one of my nails clearly is messed up. Don't waste your time giving them your money. Yes, finally a good nail place in Cedar Hill I have been to nearly every other salon within this town and have been thoroughly disappointed. Long wait times, bad customer service, or just plain being inexperienced and over promising, has been the pattern with other places. I completely forgot to ask for the names of the ladies that worked on me but they were both very polite and efficient. I got the "Sea Breeze" pedicure with gel and two acrylic overlays on my big toes, and an acrylic fill with gel polish. Total was exactly $100, and so so so worth every penny (especially considering other places can be way pricier and not include half of what this pedicure included). My feet feel amazing and my nails are clean and cute no funky cuticle flooding or lumps in my nails Side Note- I had a pretty gnarly torn cuticle from a snag the day before (see in pics) and the nail tech was so gentle and made sure to take caution when working on that finger. She even put some antiseptic cleaner on it after the service was done. I feel like every place should do that but regardless it's the little things that make the difference. read more

I think I finally found my new nail spa in Cedar Hill and let me tell you.....finding a good nail spa in Cedar Hill has not been an easy task at all. I made an appointment one day in advance for me and my sweetie both to receive a pedicure and a manicure, eyebrow wax and tint for myself. When we arrived, the staff was waiting and addressed us by name. This was extremely refreshing, considering my past experiences where I've booked a reservation and ended up having to wait which completely defeated the purpose of booking a reservation in the first place. When we arrived I immediately noticed the beautiful decor and cleanliness of the establishment. All of the pedicure beds were lined with disposable liners to prevent the spread of bacteria, fungus and infectious disease. I explained to the nail tech during my pedicure that in the past when I've received manicures with acrylic nails they've never lasted more than a few days. She pointed out that I might have oily nail beds and suggested that I stay away from the acrylic and get a gel manicure. In the end, I loved my manicure/pedicure w/ floral design and the results of my eyebrow wax and tint. PROS: Friendly staff, clean sterile tools and pedicure tubs, complimentary wine, great eyebrow waxing & tinting services, manicures and pedicures. CONS: They close at 1930, but were more than willing to stay late, take their time and provide exceptional service. I will definitely be returning! read more

I decided to take a chance and try a closer place instead of going to my usual in Arlington. I was absolutely most pleasantly surprised. I did the chrome ombré and I love my nails. It was very clean here and reasonably priced. I had my old set soaked off and then an overlay for only $43. They offer complimentary drinks, water, soda and wine. Gotta love that! The other ladies were so nice and there wasn't that awkwardness. I was comfortable and relaxed. I enjoyed the music in the background that added to the relaxing ambiance. Nee my nail tech did such a great job. She was quick and did exactly what I wanted. My only hold up is that I wish she wouldn't have been as quick to remove some of the excess from under my nails that was left from the overlay. It wasn't much so I didn't mind doing it myself since I had to go anyway once she got done, so no big. I will be back for my pedicure and am looking forward to it.
