NEVER come here. the owner is so rude. i don't know if it's because im black. i've been here a couple times i try to not take it personal but today was the final straw. the place is ALWAYS EMPTY FOR A REASON. i give them a year. below i've attached a picture. this is how i had to leave with my nails because i wouldn't allow the nail tech to burn me with her drill. she said if i didn't like service i could leave. so i did

Very fas service, always satisfied with the quality and outcome of every appointment. 10/10 overall. Very calm environment as well.

Rainy Thursday so the salon open 20min late and bc the staff was running late the customer service was horrible. Never the less I moved forward with services bc I didn't feel like looking for a new salon but OMG the staff was so rude while doing pedicure . When ever speaking to them they would not acknowledge. Not sure the name Of the lady who did pedicure but she was not very nice. The lady who did my nails is name Nee and is the person everyone said in their reviews to hv do your nails and I had her do my Powder Dip and she did a good job. Went in for two manicures and pedicures. Really enjoyed the service and the color options along with the types of pedicures offered. The ladies were really friendly too. Inside was clean and it was relaxing and chill. Would definitely come back and recommend.

I was really looking for a new nail salon in the area, after going to several and just not loving the others. I had my 7 year old with me and the staff was so accommodating and friendly with making him feel comfortable and even giving him his own little foot spa and massage. I am really into mood changing gel colors right now, and Top Nails had a pretty big menu of them. I was really quite amazed at how many different dip powders, gels, and polishes they had. I will definitely be back when it's time for a fill!!

This place is pretty nice inside and very clean. I was very pleased with the service. I came on a Tuesday evening at 6:00pm and was immediately seen with no wait time. The technician was very kind and personable. She did a nice job on my powder dip manicure. My only complaints... 1) two nails are slightly crooked. Nothing extremely noticeable, but obvious enough for me to be annoyed. 2) when waiting for nail coats to dry, they place your hands on a box of Kleenex. I though this was odd (and a little ghetto) but I rolled with it. I assumed that perhaps my technician had misplaced her raised arm/wrist rest, but then I noticed that the technician beside me did the same thing with her client.

Absolutely not! This was not the experience you would expect when getting treatment in any salon. They go through the motions with a bit of disdainment. They are not friendly - Not mean or rude but certainly not pleasant or friendly. I was the first person there when they opened on Saturday morning. They opened a few minutes late but that didn't cause me any concern. Things happen so I stayed and gave them a try. This was my second time coming here. I wasn't impressed the first time but wasn't completely turned off. While getting my nails done, a child peed on the floor (he was sitting near me but was in one of the chairs waiting not at a station being serviced), and the person doing my nails stopped to mop the pee. She hit the mop hard on the floor while the mom apologized and she splashed pee all over my feet and legs (they were under her station - that's how wild and sloppy she was - probably annoyed the kid peed). She didn't change the color on my nails just did the fill because "others were waiting". She rushed my nails and the sides were not filed evenly. When I asked for them to be fixed she said she couldn't see it. The massage chair did not massage - not in the water (whirlpool) or the chair itself. This was not the pedicure experience described on the brochure. The wax was too hot. The chair wouldn't move back. I only stayed for both services because they had numerous customers coming in so I wondered if my expectations were too high. From the heavy traffic coming in and waiting for services it is clear people enjoy their services. Or people have accepted they provide mediocre service.‍ As for me and mine, we will go somewhere else moving forward.

Service and work were fine until the end. I gave the lady no issues and she filed my skin away, which is fine....but where was the apology? She acted like nothing happened with an obvious piece of skin missing. Not very welcoming either and didn't do much to accommodate to what i wanted. overall 3/10.

Note before the review because I think it's important: This shop has big, clear plastic barriers between you and the tech with a sign of their prices in the middle, so you can't watch them work. It's hard to give any kind of feedback while they're working cause you can't see what they're doing until they're done and they give you your hand back. I came in needing a new set. I asked for the same length and shape as my previous set which were still on my nails. The tech who did my new set also did the old one. She appeared to be in a huge rush. My nails were much shorter and very crooked and when I told her this, she raised her voice at me and told me she'd remove them. I told her there was no need and could finish and that I would pay, but she still continued to raise her voice. She kind of went on a rant about how hard she has to work and rushed to finish my nails. In the end, they were simply not what I asked for. She painted that rather sloppily, so I asked if I could come back the next day and get them removed. She did say she could remove them right then instead of me paying and waiting. The picture is her "cutting them down" and when I asked if she could totally remove them, she handed me a pair of clippers and told me to do it myself. I would've paid for the service of having these removed properly. Very disappointed in the way she handled me giving her feedback on a service I was expected to pay for. Would not recommend. Only 1-2 ladies work here at a time and they're always busy and rushing to finish your service. I will say the tech usually does a good job but this is experience as so loud and disrespectful that I would never go back, especially considering that I said I would pay.

I am always hesitant to visit a new nails shop. This place did not let me down! I came in with a previous set on my nails. They soaked them off and gave me exactly what I wanted. I do not think nails with a lot of acrylic. SNS was a perfect solution. They young lady servicing me was very kind. When she was busy with other clients (while I was soaking) another tech stepped in to support. Very pleased with service and the price ($40). I will be back! read more

I just had the most terrible experience in my life. The lady that do ACRYLIC NAILS at this salon called TOP NAILS & SPA was doing my nails and in the middle of the process decided that she don't want to do my nails and she just leave me sit there like an idiot and I had to leave the place as you see in the video and nobody from the staff of the salon sees nothing about this rude and grotesque attitude read more

Don't waste your time!!! If I could give a zero star, it would be over rated!! The young ladies overall personal skills are horrible. It doesn't cost anything to speak and be courteous. If it had not been late on a Sunday afternoon, I would have turned around and went somewhere else...frfr! That's my environmental review, on to the service...it was WORST!! Ann seemed to be in a hurry. When I pointed out a couple of things I felt could be done better, she said I did that...mind you I purchased the best package they offered (Detox pedicure). When it was all said and done it was a regret stopping by but lesson learned! read more

I have come here a couple of times but I will NOT be back. I'm typically patient, but I don't tolerate disrespect. I went in on a Wednesday afternoon, and all the employees were busy helping customers. When I entered the manager stated the wait would be 30mins. Well 30 minutes turn to 40 minutes, 40 minutes, 50 minutes. No one ever acknowledged the fact that the 30 minutes turned into 1 hour and 15 minutes. When I asked the guy if someone would help me, he then stated someone would come. A lady came, but after seeing her mess up doing someone else's service I asked for the manager to do mine. I was told 5 additional minutes. I was irritated due to the wait time being more than double what was originally told but I did wait. When she did my nails, she was rude, and rush. She literally took 15-20mins on my service. Not even 10 hours later I noticed she never fixed the lowly cracked nail. Therefore it was cracked again/still. When I went in the following day to get it fixed they wouldn't even bother understanding the frustration of waiting for 1 hour and 15mins or even look at the nail. The manager loud talked me in front of others and simply wouldn't listen. When I was explaining the frustration and poor customer service she said she didn't see anything wrong. I think not checking in with customers, talking over them, and not listening to the customer when they say they see something wrong is a major PROBLEM!! read more

I went yesterday and this happened yesterday as well but the shop was closed. I received the (dip powder) with tips and they started to crack. The pics really don't serve enough justice due to the light color but both hands were terrible. I went back today and everyone's fav Ni didn't apologize and tried to correct it by putting acrylic over it. When I stopped her she said just to soak them off instead, with no attempts to re do them at all. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the dip powder at this location. It's a certain amount powder they have to apply and when it's half done this will happen. To be honest Ni didn't want to redo them the correct way at all, again she wanted to half redo them. This was my first and last time. read more

I read the yelp reviews and was a little nervous about coming here, but I do not regret it! I loved how Ni did my nails. She was super sweet and asked me if she was hurting me (she wasn't). I definitely recommed coming here! I got the full set acrylic gel nails. read more

Best pedicure ever! This was my second time here and I'm ready to make this MY salon! Me (spelling?) did my gel manicure two times now and she does things a little differently and it is perfect. I give this a one, I wanted to get acrylic nails and a pedicure. I went with my partner. The lady who helped me was Lee and the one with my partner was Kim. Lee seemed to be in a rush, was not a happy person, And was very dry. When I told her I wanted a pedicure with French tip, she had cut my toe nails to the shape she wanted, didn't even ask. When she was finished with everything, she ended up not giving me straight French tips. It was my first time, and suppose to be for a birthday event. Kim seemed to take her time on the massage and partner. Once I was done, then they informed me that they did not do the style of nails on how I wanted them, which was a triangular French tip. I was unpleased with everything! To top all this off they were very non-inviting, we were there for a little bit before I asked my partner If they gave any water or anything. Then one lady give out little water bottles to everyone who was in the salon. read more

Went here today in need of a pedicure. I walked in the lady greeted me and let me know the wait time. They were short staffed today, but these 3 women were working hard and giving great service so I waited. I must say it was definitely worth the wait, excellent customer service, they were taking their time and doing the job correctly not just trying to get you in & out. The pedicure classic was amazing and she polished my toes very neat. I will definitely be back, great job today ladies! read more

If Shrek and Fiona wanted pedicures, I would highly recommend this place. For my mom and me it was a total disaster. The staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable and the salon is clean. All indicators of what should have been a good mani/pedi experience were there. We scheduled an appointment for 5PM. We were a little late and expected a slight wait as Top Nails also offers walk-in appointments. Seated at the pedicure stations, my mom and I soaked in luke warm water for about 45 minutes until 2 staff members were finally able to help us. My nail specialist filed the soles of my feet to the point of scrapes and bleeding; removed my Gel manicure by soaking my hands in acetone polish remover for 30 minutes and then filing the polish off. My mom fared slightly better until her finger was cut during her manicure. This all took well over 2 hours and my mom was so hungry that we had to leave before I could get my nails polished. I walked out with scrapes on my finger and foot from the abrasive file and residue of Gel polish still on my nails not to mention the $68 and 2 hours that I will never get back. Top Nails has great reviews on Yelp. Business at the finger nail stations was booming so I believe they are more popular for their acrylic nail services than for the pedicure experience. This was my second and last time here. The first time, the wait was so long that my daughter had to leave before they did anything other than soak her feet and still charged us $10. There are too many other quality nail salons to even attempt a third try here. read more

Do not waste your time here. The amount of attitude they give to paying customers is beyond me. I can understand if someone was being absolutely rude but they're just plain mean to anyone who either wants something done to their nails they don't want to do... or anyone who questions what they're doing. If you are looking for a nail shop to visit for the first time, I would not recommend this shop. I got a fill on a Tuesday and my nail broke the very next day. I came in the same week on Thursday, and told them I needed my nail fixed and the owner, Nee, offered to do it for free. Nee was very rude and rough with me. I told her several times that she was hurting me, but that did not stop her from being rough. I asked if she would like someone else to do my nail and she said no. She also put no real effort into shaping the nail to look like the others even after I commented on the shape. When I asked for her business license, she claimed to not have one, although the license is supposed to some place where it can be seen, so I'm not sure if her nail techs are licensed as well because there were no credentials anywhere. In all of my experiences with nail salons, this was the worst. Don't go here, you won't get what you paid for. read more

Nice people, but quality of work isn't great. Wouldn't recommend. After only a week I now have a serious chip on my nail. The price was fine, but I guess you get what you pay for. I also had a 20 minute wait & then it took 2 1/2 hours for a mani/pedi. I was cut one one finger and discovered a mysterious red blister on my toe afterwards. Luckily it's clearing up. I'm sure there are better nail shops to go to. read more

Last visit: Sunday, July 24, 2016 So I've been here three times now and my last visit was just as good as my previous two! I was greeted by Nee and she asked what services I was interested in. I needed an acrylic fill (color powder). She did my nails the last time and I'm elated that she was available to do them again. I will definitely come back to Nee! Recently visited this place after seeing several positive reviews. I tend to avoid nail salons in Cedar Hill because they're usually not that great. I visited early in the morning so there wasn't a wait which was nice. I got a manicure with gel polish and probably won't be back. Two of my nails have a ridge/air bubbles in the polish that the technician didn't even bother to fix. I would have complained about it to her but was pressed for time so I decided to just leave. read more

Hands down the best nail shop I've been to in years. Ni is amazing and her nails last for weeks I've had the same set for 2 months and have had no issues with lifting or breaking. Prices are reasonable to me i get a fill with gel and a pedi for $55. read more

I like my nails! Even though I felt rushed. I guess that's a good thing! was only in there for about 20 mins tops. U can tell they train themselves on speedy service. Did not get the nail tech name but she was very attentive and helped me pick the nail polish color. I asked her to do them short. The nail shop is very clean very calm and nice. I cheated on my nail salon...and it was totally worth it! I decided to try this place out because I was in the area. While the reviews are all over the place, they all had one thing in common: Ni! Everyone seemed to love her so I quickly called in to make an appointment for a couple of hours out. I was scheduled right away. When I entered I was quickly greeted and I waited for a few minutes while she finished up with her client. I must say, I was very impressed with Ni; I normally get gel because it's the quickest and least expensive, but somehow she talked me into the dip powder. I'm so glad she did because I loved my nails! SHE GOT MY SHAPE RIGHT! This rarely happens so I was very thrilled. She even fixed a nail for me with no additional charge and gave me a coupon for $5 off my next visit. This place is pretty far from my house but Ni is pretty worth it. ;) read more

No where near almond round. I still was very respectful. He said okay can I try on another nail I said yes. He then gave me stiletto. At this point I'm not going to stay and pay for something if my service cannot be fulfilled. So I kindly asked if he could soak the nails off before he proceeded to even paint and get any further. Nail tips were just glued on my nails mind you. He calls the ladies over and they try to ask me if I could let another person try. I said no thank you can I just get the nails removed. The guy doing my nails gets upset and has an attitude. And starts to RIP the nails off my fingers and then CUTS my natural nails down so short and painful. I just sat there, ready to just leave. Once the nails are all in his palm of his hand he tosses them on the counter and shoos me away like I'm an animal and said go somewhere else. I turn and said hey I was never disrespectful to you so don't disrespect me. He continues to tell his employees in an attitude so I turn again and asked if he just doesn't disrespect me. As a young girl that's very un called for, reviving that from a grown man. Overall do not go here. Service is so awful and disrespectful. They even denied everything that happened and never apologized.

I can't say enough good things about this shop. I live in Red Oak and became so fed up with shabby acrylic and Dip jobs that after reading all the great reviews, I decided to drive to Cedar Hill. Everything everyone has said is true. First of all, when you walk in the decor is just GREAT! It's clean, well-decorated, comfortable...it smell good. The staff is soooo friendly....immediately offered me water. The technician talked to me about the health of my nails and the Dip job she did was EXCELLENT- I mean, my nails look great. And if you've done any reading on nail products, you NEED to be careful about who and what is put on your nails. The price may be a few dollars more, but YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! When I got there there was an hour wait so I went to Hillside for a while. Even though it was a long wait it was so worth it for their service. I paid $40 for a full set and my cousin paid $30 for her gel mani. The lady was so nice. She was fast and did her job right. She even recommended that when I get a fill I get white at the bottom so it's ombré. My cousin and I loved it so much and we plan on coming back as soon as I need my fills.
