All you can eat fish and chips.
    Desiree F.

First time visiting today. I read on "the facebooks" that this place has the best fish and chips in the valley. That was a bold statement. I was willing to give it a try. If these are the best, I worry about the rest. Now...I will say they were decent, but not great. The portion was good, but the batter was "meh". It needed about 1 minute longer for a golden look. I've had better fries elsewhere. As for the service...great! Ambience? It's a dive bar with a hunting theme. They play good music. The beer was cold.

We went in for the Fish Fry on a Friday. The food was great, we got the cowboy corn bites, fish fry, mac and cheese burger and a piece of carrot cake to go. Highly recommend the fish and the burger, the corn bites were perfect in spice and flavor and the piece of cake was massive and delicious. The only think lack luster was the fries, they arent bad just nothing really to them. The location is dark and more on the bar side for atmosphere and theres nothing wrong with that. Service was good and she was booking it all over trying to keep up with the fish fry orders. She was friendly and quick. It was a good experience and I do see us coming back.

What to say about The Other Q Bar and Grill. Pros: Good amount of parking space outside. Large enough space so you're not cramped. Outside patio area with exterior bar TV's and jukebox. Friendly bartenders super polite and helpful. Food specials each day of the week. Cons: The inside decor could use an update Would be nice for normal happy hours not reverse. Food: I got the Thai wings I would give 7 out of 10. Wings were drowned in sauce and could have been a little more crispy. Coworkers got the Rubin sandwich and fries also fried zucchini. Rubin was a 8.5 zucchini 5.5 zucchini needed to be a little more fresh and fried a little longer for more of a crispy bite. Overall i would give 7.5 for the overall experience we are planing to go back soon.

    Trivia time!!! Every Wednesday!

Coming to the Q is always very nice, specially when we have the BEST service, like McKenna, Alaina, Roxanne, Mikaela, Tiffany! They are always giving more than 100% of themselfs and always making sure what we need. We can play music, we can smoke at the patio, we can watch the games, we can celebrate our bdays! It is always a blast! The most important thing is that we always want to go back because we have the most amazing service with all this team, thank you all for all you do to have your customers happy

This place is amazing. The fish fry on Friday and Saturday is wonderful. The fish is so juicy! The beer is great and definitely not overly priced. The service was great, our server was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very friendly as we had multiple people come up to our table and spark random conversations. Laughter fills the air. There's a juke box. Pool tables and fun. The is more yummy food besides fish as well. If you are in the area, The Other Q bar is definitely a spot worth checking out, and you'll for sure be a returning customer!

Their reputation for a great fish fry is well founded: light batter and succulent fleshy cod that kept coming via the very attentive server Ethan as I kept eating. The strange thing was that the shapes and darkness of the coating changed with each refill yet they were all good. My friend got the Build a Burger and enjoyed it. I initially had a problem with my discount, but a manager straightened it out. Mother Road draft beer was the perfect accompaniment to the meal and to sip on while looking around at the taxidermied critters and nostalgic items like the model of Budweiser's Clydesdales.

Fish (cod) was rubbery. Walleye was "ok". Green chili was good but $12 for a bowl? Wowza not sure I'll go back.

The restaurant is attached to The Gamer's Guild game store, so we had fun shopping there first. The store has a huge selection of every game imaginable plus dozens of tables, free to play. My daughter has celiac disease and the establishment was very sensitive to food allergies. They also supported neuro-diversity, which was great for my grandson. They also had several TV's going, kids menu games and a game library for free. My daughter got a Twisted Turkey Club, my granddaughter got kids Chicken Fingers and I got a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. All the orders came with fries. My grandson didn't eat. My daughter raved about her gluten free meal and my granddaughter just put her head down and plowed through her lunch. My sandwich was pretty good. I got the step-child of chicken pieces: it was pretty small. It still tasted fine and the regular fries were killer. The side sauces were legit as well. A lot of room for improvement here and hopefully they get it together because it's a pretty cool spot to hang out and play board games.

The menu has an assortment of hot and cold sandwiches, burgers and salads, and other snack munchies. Located within a professional office building with tons of outdoor parking, a few handicap stalls and a few shaded areas to park away from the blazing Phoenix heat. I ordered an amazing sandwich that had loads of pastrami in it. I forgot the name of it but it's one of the specialties on the menu. Food was made fresh and fast. Not too much to say about the customer service. You just kind of order and wait for your food to be made. I first came here around 2022 and I still come here every now and than. This is one of those hole in the wall places that's worth giving a try. You'd never know this place exists if you don't actually work in this professional office building. Their sandwiches offer super fresh, gorgeously healthy, leafy green lettuce. Their multigrain bread is super soft and tasty. I am not a "bread person." I actually LOOK FORWARD to consuming the bread part of my sandwich, too. Even the crust is great. Their Chicago dog is fantastic and served on a huge gourmet bun. So yummy. Everything served is aesthetically pleasing. The service is always friendly. The staff wear a smile at all times, and there is no shortage of humor. This is especially nice, for people like me, who came across this restaurant by passing it whilst entering and exiting the building we each visit multiple times per week for post-car-accident recovery reasons (Innovative Injury Solutions/Innovative Pain and wellness share their building). When a person has been in chronic pain for several months, this kind of service is much appreciated. On my first visit, I ate at City Square out of convenience. Now that I have experienced much of what they have to offer, I can't leave the building after my physical therapy sessions or pain injections without stopping in for lunch. It is too good to pass up this food and eat anywhere else. I take every available opportunity to enjoy their food, and I am so grateful they are here. If they ever open a location in north Scottsdale, I am convinced they'd make a mint! Thanks City Square Deli! Go try it Yelpers. You will love it.

I love Angie's and glad that they are around, and my only wish is that they open more locations, especially around the Scottsdale area. This location was initially Angie's Lobster, but they are also Angie's Prime Grill, so they have salads, wraps, bowls, etc. Depending on what time I visit is what affects my ordering style. If I'm stopping by after work and am not rushed, I will order via the drive-thru. If I'm coming before work, I'll order online and use the walk-up window. Thankfully, haven't had to wait too long either way. Their walk-up window is right past the drive-thru on the left, basically the back side of the building. I park in the spots near the apartments and cross the rock barrier to get to it (just watch out for the cars exiting). I mostly order their salads, especially since they are only $5 with grilled chicken or falafel. I prefer the chicken but sometimes I'm in the mood for something different, so I'll do the falafel (though it can be on the dry side). My personal favorite is the Asian salad, can't get enough of the combination and the teriyaki sauce is so good. I've tried their other salads like the spicy honey ranch and that one is solid as well. Breakfast is okay here, not my favorite but it's a good deal if I'm around in the morning. I do miss their french toast! I'd always order that with no meat, and they would give me eggs instead which was cool. Since I'm not a lobster fan, I don't order that BUT their fried shrimp is super good, especially with the spicy honey. And their fries are pretty solid, sometimes I'll just order them by themselves for a snack. Haven't tried the warm bowls or wraps yet but I'm not a fan of brown rice so not sure if I'll like the bowls. I love that they add new items pretty regularly. I've tried their quesadilla, snack wrap, and crunchwrap supreme, all of which are pretty good and cheap. Today, I saw that they have a new salad deal, which is a salad (chicken/falafel/avocado), cheese quesadilla or garlic flatbread, and a drink for only $6.99! Such a good deal, I had to order it. No one is doing it like Angie's these days and I hope they keep it up. Wishing them much success and more stores in the future!

The first thing that stands out is the massive, beautifully maintained outdoor seating area. It's covered, pet-friendly, and thoughtfully designed with fireplaces and privacy walls that give each table a more intimate feel. There's even an outdoor bar where you can grab a drink while you wait or just enjoy the atmosphere. Inside, the décor is incredibly creative. Butcher knives and custom cutting boards line the walls, and the open kitchen showcases hanging meats so you can see everything in action. The bakery area adds another layer of charm, with rolling pins and whisks hanging from the ceiling, it all feels intentional and immersive without being over the top. The menu is just as fun and different as the space itself. I started with the Sicilian wedge and then had to go for what they're known for, the handcrafted meatballs. You can mix and match meatballs with different pastas, but the real showstopper is the "meatball carousel." It lets you sample multiple meatballs with their recommended sauces, all presented on an elaborate Ferris wheel-style display that turns heads across the restaurant. It's a full experience, not just a meal. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. What truly made the night, though, was our server, Mia. She struck that perfect balance of fun and professional, engaging, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with. She guided us through the menu, made great recommendations, and brought a level of energy that elevated the entire experience. You can tell she takes pride in what she does, and it shows. For dessert, we went with the traditional Sicilian cannoli stuffed with Nutella and a lemon tart that was so good I'd honestly consider flying back just to have it again. It came with vodka sauce and I'm not a fan of that, so I opted for the side salad. Wish they'd allow you to sub the sauce. After dinner, we went next door to the Sicilian Baker and ordered an array of treats. Their tiramisu is a must!
