Caps is my favorite place to go when I have a wing craving. They have lots of options and the wings are large. I also really like their pizza. They have a taco pizza here that is pretty unique and one to try if you want something a little different. I love the staff here too, I can tell they are all hard workers. They upgraded the TV's recently so pretty much everywhere you look, you can watch a game, and they show just about every type of game you'd ever want to watch. They can get busy on some big sport event days, but you can easily make a reservation from their website. I love to support small businesses, so I'll keep this place in my top places to visit list. read more

So, we've been here many times for a reason. Caps is a true neighborhood restaurant and bar. The staff are personable and remember how you like things. I've been through probably 75% of the menu and have yet to be disappointed. The staff are top notch. You won't sit down for a meal without the owner stopping by and checking on you. Had a few hours to kill in this area so decided to stop in on their Wing Wednesday a few weeks back. A smaller sized bar area with many regulars seated but was greeted with friendly service and an attentive bartender so didn't feel out of place. Sound was on for the D'Backs game so that was nice plus. Wings were on par with similar locations like these and prepared quickly and fresh. 4 stars because I was given another mini pitcher of beer without being asked if I wanted one. Didn't make an issue of it but also wasn't necessarily needed at that time. Overall this is what you would expect when looking for your classic neighborhood sports bar so will definitely give it another shot whenever the opportunity presents itself. read more

I recognize I am biased coming from San Antonio and I have high expectations of quality local wings. However in my opinion, there are several other local wing joints that are the top of my Phoenix Wing rank list. The wings themselves were a bit small for being called Jumbo Wings. The flavors were quite good but the grilled aspect of the Honey Jerk made the wings a bit tough and overwhelmed the spicy honey flavor. The ancho wings were decent and had a nice spicy kick to them but was maybe expecting the flavors to permeate the whole wing. In overview, this place is a decent local sports bar but feel far short of a nationally ranked Yelp.com restaurant. read more

Love the wings at this place! They have beer of the day specials and what I like most is their wings and combination of sauces. What I like is a very crispy flavorful wing that's not burnt to a crisp and this place is so successful at it! My recommendation is the honey hot sauce. Also, the server was excellent. Came in here a few days ago with a lady friend of mine for a drink. Very clean sports bar with nice wait staff and who constantly check-in to make sure you have everything you need. It was 9:00 pm and they close at 10 pm but they close kitchen at 9:30 pm. There were 8 of us and we got there at 9:20. They were more than happy to take our orders. Note - Kitchen closes at 9:30 PM and bar opened until 11 AM. One of the best bar in neighborhood. Lot many draft beer options and probably best wings in valley. So many varieties of wings to try. Very economical prices as well. We go here frequently and mostly for wings and beers Not so crowded mostly but not bad ambience. Must try place. Sampler is very good. I was in the area and hopped on yelp to find a good lunch spot with wings. This place popped up and I was excited cause it had some good reviews. Upon entering the restaurant the place was empty except I could hear people so I was confused. It was about 2 minutes until someone walked around the corner and told us to sit anywhere. We sat and waited another 7 minutes before anyone came out with a menu or to be greeted. We ordered our drinks and looked over the menu. I was excited due to being so many flavors I wanted to try. When it came time to order I wanted to do 6 cajun, 6 honey hot, 12 lemon pepper. I was told I wasn't allowed to mix flavors and all wings no matter how large the order had to be 1 flavor. This immediately left a bad taste (pun intended) in my mouth and I said never mind. I just ordered the pickles cause I didn't want to get up and just walk out. I won't be back here. For the price that you are charging for wings, I'd recommend catering to the customer and at least offer half and half on anything over 24 count. The service wasn't the greatest either. Maybe this is a hit or miss place but it was definitely a miss with me. read more
