They have a very wide selection of chemicals, replacement parts, and equipment. Their prices are lower than other places we've tried. And, the service there is always great. I use them frequently to check the chemical levels in the pool. They just switched from manually testing the water, to a computer based system. I'm very pleased with the results. Their service operations include pool opening and closing, and service calls/repairs/installations. In past years they replaced our pump, filter, heater, and more. Their pool opening service could be better - they simply "dewinter" the equipment, remove and fold the pool cover, and ensure the pump turns on. Other services we've used vacuum the pool, which I wish they did. Other than that one minor issue, I think Leslie's provides a great service.

I found that Arvidson's is the best at understanding what pools need for the right balance, and then following up to ensure everything turned out okay. I went there two days ago, and I had a high level of ammonia in the pool. I have no idea how that would have happened. Rather than sell me an expensive round of chemicals, they told me to drain 1/3 of the water out of the pool and refill it. They said that would mean I would need less to balance the water. When I returned today, the Ammonia levels were low enough that I didn't need to do anything other than add (a lot) of chlorine. More than anything, I trust their judgment in chemically treating pools.

The guy who opened it showed me the spa wasn't holding water and accused Lotus of not winterizing the pool properly which set in motion costly events like pressure testing the spa. When the spa pipes checked out, lotus sent out two pro's Robert and Aldo. Aldo identified right away that the actuator for the intake was forced by hand during the opening and was slightly open thus draining the spa back into the pool. Robert took the time to show me what caused the problem and what simple of a fix it was. I will now only trust lotus and their team to open and close my pool. Thanks guys!

Rolando was the service man who came out and he was excellent! He drained, cleaned and filled the tub and allowed me to watch how he did every step and explained the entire process. We inherited the hot tub when we purchased the house this summer and hadn't used it yet. He was so thorough and we appreciated his knowledge and friendliness to answer all of our questions, as well as explain the chemicals we would need to maintain the tub.
