This is a review about Leslie's in-store experience and not about their home service…read more We continue to use Leslie's for purchases for our pool and for minor service work. Leslie's has always providing free water test services, then presenting a plan for how to balance your water. Of course, they sell the chemicals needed. It's convenient. Until last year, Leslie's manually tested the water with test tubes and droppers. This year, they upgraded to a computerized testing system. It is more accurate, and provides a print-out when done, listing the chemicals needed along with very clear instructions on how to execute the plan. Over the years, we've used Leslie's water testing service, their store to purchase supplies, and their service work to repair the pool equipment, and to replace our pump. filter, heater, chlorinator, various pieces of piping, and more. Note they do not install vinyl liners. Leslie's is a solid choice for pool maintenance and repair services.

We started using Arvidson's for our pool last year. We do the maintenance, so we use them mainly…read morefor testing water and buying needed chemicals. We've gone to a few other pool stores over the years. I found that Arvidson's is the best at understanding what pools need for the right balance, and then following up to ensure everything turned out okay. I went there two days ago, and I had a high level of ammonia in the pool. I have no idea how that would have happened. Rather than sell me an expensive round of chemicals, they told me to drain 1/3 of the water out of the pool and refill it. They said that would mean I would need less to balance the water. When I returned today, the Ammonia levels were low enough that I didn't need to do anything other than add (a lot) of chlorine. More than anything, I trust their judgment in chemically treating pools.

I would leave negative stars if this was an option…read more Bought a 18,000 dollar Caldera hot tub that was delivered 7-7-26. Spa was delivered with a bad front panel that has not been replaced yet because the replacement they sent was also damaged!! . Then the my IQ water testing system and air lines for some of the jets hasn't worked since day 1! I was told several times that I was at fault and I was in-capable and doing it wrong. BUT THE WHOLE TIME THE SPA WAS BUILT POORLY AND THE TUBES WERE PINCHED BEHIND THE TUB AND THE FRAME! Arvidson technicians came out for the 4th time and finally figured it out after they removed all the blow in insulation and compromised its retaining structure to find the issue on my two week old hot tub and tell me that they are going to cut the tubes and splice them together and slap the panels back on. NOT ACCEPTABLE! I paid full price for a new working unit from the factory not a screwed up build done on a Friday at 4 O'clock. ZZ in service told me they are filing a complaint with the manufacturer to get me a new tub and I haven't heard anything since 8-28-26 and it is now 9-24-26 now they don't answer my calls or call back STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Very disappointed with Lotus Pools. We decided to give them a try because their pricing was lower…read morethan other companies, but in the end, it wasn't worth the savings. I would much rather pay more for a company that knows what they're doing so we can actually enjoy our pool. Before hiring Lotus Pools, we had never had issues with algae or cloudy water. After they began servicing our pool, we suddenly had both. Instead of resolving the problem, we were given excuse after excuse as to why they couldn't get the pool clear. When I called to discuss our concerns, the staff was rude and unprofessional. The manager, in particular, showed very poor customer service and seemed completely uninterested in addressing our concerns. Rather than listening or trying to make things right, the receptionist repeatedly tried to upsell us on additional services instead of resolving the problems we were already paying them to fix. Overall, our experience was frustrating from start to finish. We hired Lotus Pools to maintain our pool, but instead we ended up with problems we had never experienced before and poor customer service when we tried to address them. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Lotus Pools.

Stay far away! They will leave your pool unfinished and in complete disrepair. I contracted Daniel…read moreKamide from Dana pools on June 11th, 2020, to build a pool in Lake Forest. The pool was supposed to be finished by years end 2020 and it's still unfinished in November 2021. I have continued to make payments during 2021 in hopes the pool will be finished. I paid an additional 40k due to price increases and he once again promised it would be completed before winter 2021. Now material costs have risen once again. Daniel Kamide from Dana Pools is asking for even more money to finish the project that was supposed to be completed in 2020. His new projected completion date is mid 2022. Waiting another winter for them to finish the pool will lead to further damage, possible wall collapse and just a complete waste of time money. The pool has cracks all over which they tried to repair saying a pool liner would solve the issue. I hired another pool company to inspect, and they were shocked to see this type of damage on a new install. They said a pool liner would only last a little while before further cracks appear and cause major issues. The last straw was after the installation of the pumps and equipment. I was notified that Daniel Kamide returned after installing the pumps and started to disconnect everything. He attempted to steal the pumps and equipment he installed a few days earlier. We immediately contacted the Lake Forest police department and luckily, they arrived just before he left. We have begun to peruse legal action against Dana Pools and hope no one else falls for their terrible work and shady practices
