Leslie's has always providing free water test services, then presenting a plan for how to balance your water. Of course, they sell the chemicals needed. It's convenient. Until last year, Leslie's manually tested the water with test tubes and droppers. This year, they upgraded to a computerized testing system. It is more accurate, and provides a print-out when done, listing the chemicals needed along with very clear instructions on how to execute the plan. Over the years, we've used Leslie's water testing service, their store to purchase supplies, and their service work to repair the pool equipment, and to replace our pump. filter, heater, chlorinator, various pieces of piping, and more. Note they do not install vinyl liners. Leslie's is a solid choice for pool maintenance and repair services.

I found that Arvidson's is the best at understanding what pools need for the right balance, and then following up to ensure everything turned out okay. I went there two days ago, and I had a high level of ammonia in the pool. I have no idea how that would have happened. Rather than sell me an expensive round of chemicals, they told me to drain 1/3 of the water out of the pool and refill it. They said that would mean I would need less to balance the water. When I returned today, the Ammonia levels were low enough that I didn't need to do anything other than add (a lot) of chlorine. More than anything, I trust their judgment in chemically treating pools.

I would much rather pay more for a company that knows what they're doing so we can actually enjoy our pool. Before hiring Lotus Pools, we had never had issues with algae or cloudy water. After they began servicing our pool, we suddenly had both. Instead of resolving the problem, we were given excuse after excuse as to why they couldn't get the pool clear. When I called to discuss our concerns, the staff was rude and unprofessional. The manager, in particular, showed very poor customer service and seemed completely uninterested in addressing our concerns. Rather than listening or trying to make things right, the receptionist repeatedly tried to upsell us on additional services instead of resolving the problems we were already paying them to fix. Overall, our experience was frustrating from start to finish. We hired Lotus Pools to maintain our pool, but instead we ended up with problems we had never experienced before and poor customer service when we tried to address them. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Lotus Pools.

I reached out to Adam at Cobalt Pools explaining that we needed a little "hot tub 101 for dummies" and he was very responsive and quick to schedule an appointment within a few days. Rolando was the service man who came out and he was excellent! He drained, cleaned and filled the tub and allowed me to watch how he did every step and explained the entire process. We inherited the hot tub when we purchased the house this summer and hadn't used it yet. He was so thorough and we appreciated his knowledge and friendliness to answer all of our questions, as well as explain the chemicals we would need to maintain the tub.
