The siding and gutters on our house were installed 18 years ago. Although the siding had been…read morecleaned prior to 2020 with a garden hose, it had never been professionally washed. As a result, the siding was in need of a good cleaning. We contacted ChicagoLand SoftWash and after providing some pictures of the exterior of the house, they provided us with a cost estimate. Their price seemed reasonable. After being assured there would be no surprise costs added at the end of the job, we agreed to have ChicagoLand Softwash clean our siding, gutters, and downspouts. Tom arrived a few minutes early on the agreed upon day and time and commenced setting up his equipment. Although things moved a bit slower than Tom expected, due to low water pressure from the exterior faucets of our house, he completed the job in less than two hours. When we walked around the exterior of the house for the final inspection of the job, the change in its appearance was striking. In the weeks since the job was completed, we continue to be impressed by how much better our house looks since it was washed. Everything Tom said he would do he did. Tom is very professional and seemed genuinely interested in keeping his customers happy. In summation, we are happy customers and give ChicagoLand SoftWash our enthusiastic recommendation.

I found that Arvidson's is the best at understanding what pools need for the right balance, and then following up to ensure everything turned out okay. I went there two days ago, and I had a high level of ammonia in the pool. I have no idea how that would have happened. Rather than sell me an expensive round of chemicals, they told me to drain 1/3 of the water out of the pool and refill it. They said that would mean I would need less to balance the water. When I returned today, the Ammonia levels were low enough that I didn't need to do anything other than add (a lot) of chlorine. More than anything, I trust their judgment in chemically treating pools.

Arvidson technicians came out for the 4th time and finally figured it out after they removed all the blow in insulation and compromised its retaining structure to find the issue on my two week old hot tub and tell me that they are going to cut the tubes and splice them together and slap the panels back on. NOT ACCEPTABLE! I paid full price for a new working unit from the factory not a screwed up build done on a Friday at 4 O'clock. ZZ in service told me they are filing a complaint with the manufacturer to get me a new tub and I haven't heard anything since 8-28-26 and it is now 9-24-26 now they don't answer my calls or call back STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

When I called to discuss our concerns, the staff was rude and unprofessional. The manager, in particular, showed very poor customer service and seemed completely uninterested in addressing our concerns. Rather than listening or trying to make things right, the receptionist repeatedly tried to upsell us on additional services instead of resolving the problems we were already paying them to fix. Overall, our experience was frustrating from start to finish. We hired Lotus Pools to maintain our pool, but instead we ended up with problems we had never experienced before and poor customer service when we tried to address them. This practice raises serious concerns about the company's business ethics. Exploiting customers is not a sustainable way to grow a business. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service. It appears that pricing is very inconsistent and possibly based on profiling customers, which is unacceptable. They were given preauthorization up until a certain amount and because we asked them to fix something, they charged the amount to fix it without any kind of authorization or discussion about what it took to fix and how much it would cost. Communication was for the most part non-existent, a response to an email regarding the preauthorization took approximately a month to respond. The only reason that it was even responded to was because of our cancellation for their bad service.
