Fantastic Service, Highly Recommend!…read more Cruz and Jon were amazing! They fixed my hot tub leak and opened my pool in one afternoon. As new pool owners, they even took the time to teach us the basics of operation and maintenance. Super friendly, on time, and efficient. Will definitely use them again and recommend to anyone looking for pool and spa services! Thanks again, guys!

Another day , another review since they want to keep taking mine down and still no Refund…read more Warning: paid upfront, no work completed, partial refund only, and still unpaid as of August 12, 2026. In May 2026, I paid Happy Pools & Spa / Genaro Cruz $2,377.93 through Zelle for a pool salt-system installation (Invoice #5389). The installation was NEVER done but yet my money was spent. After repeated calls, texts, and refund requests, I received only a $1,000 partial refund. Happy Pools & Spa still owes me $1,377.93 for work that was never performed. Whats disgusting is that my situation is NOT isolated. Recent public reviews describe people paying thousands for parts, pool installations, repairs, covers, or equipment; then being met with missed dates, no-shows, no communication, unfinished work, or no refund. One recent Yelp reviewer says they paid $4,050.30 toward a pool and installation and, nearly a year later, had no pool, no installation, and no refund. Another says they paid over $1,000 for parts that were not installed and are now going to small claims. A Google reviewer reports paying $11,000 for a repair project that was started but never finished, followed by no response. There are also recent reports of customers being charged $120 for service without a clear explanation of what work or chemicals were provided. The list goes on and on same scamming MO This is the pattern I personally experienced: payment first, promises and dates afterward, then delays, silence, and having to chase my own money for a job that was never done. I would not pay this company upfront for anything, especially through Zelle or Venmo, unless you are comfortable taking the risk of having limited payment protection. As of August 12, 2026, I have not been fully repaid. My prior Yelp reviews have repeatedly not appeared or disappeared, so I am posting this factual record again: I paid $2,377.93, received only $1,000, and $1,377.93 remains unpaid for work that was never performed And I will continue to show up and report this until I'm FULLY repaid or I'll continue to warn people as i should.

I want to start by acknowledging that Kevin, the installer, was excellent, professional, friendly,…read moreand thorough. My low rating is not a reflection of his work, but rather the lack of transparency in the pricing and communication I experienced. My concern began when two gaskets were replaced without my authorization or even a notification. I was informed only after the job was completed, and then charged $175 for the two gaskets, which can be purchased online for about $5 each. When I reached out to Robert, the owner, his response was that he once paid $875 for a headlight that cost $27 wholesale, an example that didn't address the issue and only reinforced my concern about unreasonable markups. Surprising customers with undisclosed parts and charges does not feel like good business. Before the appointment, we had agreed that since I already had the part they initially diagnosed as the problem, I would only be charged their hourly rate. What wasn't disclosed upfront was that the rate is $100 per hour. I was prepared to pay that once I learned it, but when I received a $375 bill for roughly two hours of work, I requested a breakdown. Only then did I learn about the added $175 for the two unapproved gaskets. The situation left me feeling like this was a bait‑and‑switch, especially since they were unable to charge me for the part I already provided. What makes this especially disappointing is that my first experience with this company about seven years ago was outstanding. At that time, Robert went above and beyond during the middle of winter, and I've recommended this company to others based on that great service. Unfortunately, something has changed, and this recent experience fell far short of the transparency and fairness I expected. My hope is that this review helps future customers who value clear communication and upfront pricing.
