We had an urgent plumbing issue affecting two units in one of our apartment buildings, and Rocket Plumbing was amazing from start to finish. They arranged a same-day inspection and moved appointments around to complete the repair the very next day. Kurt and Antonio were professional, knowledgeable and thorough. They clearly explained the problem, completed the work efficiently and restored proper drainage to both units. Vickie and the office team were also extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. We own and manage multiple properties, and after this experience, we will gladly use Rocket Plumbing again and add them to our preferred vendor list. Highly recommended! read more

I just had Nick come out to troubleshoot a water heater repair caused by a leak from a saddle valve above my furnace heading to my furnace humidifier causing the pilot light to go out to to the pooling water and moisture at the base of the unit. The service team was able to fit me in same day by putting me on standby. Nick was able to diagnose, stop the leak, inspect that the leak had done no further damage, and ultimately get the water heater working within 5 minutes of his arrival. Better yet, he said it was a simple fix and did not charge me, but just asked that I keep them at the top of my list for my next job! Very friendly and presentable all the way. He also assessed my heater and said I probably had about another two years to go before needing to replace, and gave me a written quote for a new water heater and to replace the saddle valve with an angle stop. The angle stop cost was a bit high, but the water heater replacement was very reasonable (just being fair). I am definitely going to reach out to them for my next plumbing job. read more

I had a great experience with Rocket Plumbing. Antonio was very nice, polite, and professional. He took the time to explain how our plumbing lines were connected and answered all of my questions. He did a great job clearing the bathtub drain, made sure everything was working properly, and cleaned everything up afterward. Overall, he was very pleasant to work with, and I was very happy with the service. I would definitely recommend Rocket Plumbing! read more

David is a wonderful plumber who helped us out with our water heater. He was prpmpt, hard working, and very honest. He is my plumber from here on out. read more

This was my fourth time using this company, and once again they were outstanding. They are consistently timely, prompt, fast, and extremely professional. Every technician I've worked with has been knowledgeable, competent, and genuinely trustworthy -- which is rare these days. I'll be honest: I was a little nervous at first because I kept reaching their emergency line over the weekend and holidays, and I wondered if they might be getting too big. But after this visit, I realized it's probably just because they're that in demand -- and I see why. They even honored a coupon I sent 30 minutes after I paid, which they absolutely didn't have to do. That level of integrity means a lot. I truly hope the owner takes great care of this team -- they deserve it. I trust this company's name completely, even with so many other 5-star plumbing companies out there. This one stands above the rest. read more

We had an emergency pipe burst on a Sunday afternoon during the coldest spell in the winter. Rocket answered right away, put me in the queue, and came over and fixed the repair all within 2.5 hours. Must appreciated for a little piece of mind. read more

Very professional and got the job done. Nick and Antonio took care of a clogged toilet/shower drain and cleared the drainage pipe. They also left the house very clean by taking out all of the garbage and leaving the floor dust free. There was some delay around start time, but they finished the work on time and solved all of the problems. Their original quote was also reasonable and gave a discount for a few other add-on items that needed to be done while they were there. Really appreciate them. read more

I really REALLY liked this company the last time we used them. Responsive, knowledgeble, friendly, reasonable. This time my technician gave us a quote for free (thank you) but then I had some questions about it (expensive!). We were not even going to get another quote....I just wanted some clarifications and maybe a coupon? They told me our tech would follow up. That was over 24 hours ago (and two different calls from me). So -- nope. Sad and disappointing. read more

I have used their services for water heater maintenance (draining to clean sediment). Their guy opened a clog but didn't want to wait for the whole water tank to drain before flushing fresh water to it. After checking with his boss he said he can charge me half the price as he only did half the job, but then "accidentally" charged me for the whole amount. He told me to contact their office in order to get the refund for the second half. I wrote them the same day and never heard back from them. Disappointing and unprofessional read more

I am jealous of those that have had positive experiences with this business. I had a technician come out for a water heater issue that they agreed needed urgent attention. The technician promised he'd work with his team to get someone out ASAP following his visit, as he was unable to fix the issue during this into this visit. He said they'd call before 5pm when they closed for the day. No call was received that day, and after leaving multiple voicemails I still haven't received a call back. Even worse, if their lines are busy they have their customer service line set up so that it sends you to the after hours emergency line even during working hours. Those employees can't even access active work orders; they're limited to only taking voicemails for non-urgent work. Given that the weekend has passed and they never called back, I take it they weren't interested in helping with my "urgent" issue after all. read more

Great experience with rocket plumbing. Good communication. Trevor and Antonio did a great job repairing my sewer line. Thank you!!

These guys came out the next day. Took a look at my issue and gave me pointers before we got into any actual significant work. I feel like we are going to have to proceed - but I appreciated the tips before jumping in and starting the money clock. Cowboys would have just started tinkering and running up a bill. Most likely going to go forward with work, and I will definitely be having them do it. Would highly recommend! read more

noticed some water damage on the ceiling below my upstairs bathroom.. I started my search online for a new plumber and chose rocket plumbing because of all the positive reviews I was seeing- the reviews aren't wrong. I called in the late afternoon, the receptionist was very kind, helpful, and she was able to send a plumber out the next morning. The plumber, Geoffrey was professional, knowledgeable and patient (I had probably a million questions throughout the whole process since I was communicating the situation with my husband over text, he is the one who typically takes care of these things). He very quickly identified the leak and to my surprise when i asked if it was a possibility to fix the issue the same day he said yes, and only left to go get the new toilet/replacement parts that we ended up having replaced- he did offer us multiple options to fix the issue at very different price points which was fantastic. And has extremely clear communication with every decision that needed to be made. Unfortunately after he removed the old toilet he found how badly damaged some of the old plumbing in the floor was, and it became a much larger job than originally anticipated (due to a very poorly done repair in the past by a different plumber/company)Geoffrey still made the commitment to have the work finished the same day and spent most the day seeing this through while still keeping the cost very reasonable. he even vacuumed, swept, and removed any trash/debris from the job when he was finished. And left contact information for a carpenter (to repair the damaged ceiling) and a restoration company to come look at any potential mold issues from the leak. My husband and I are very pleased with the work that was done, and will definitely be using Rocket plumbing in the future. read more

Called them at 845am, Julian assured me that someone would be out that day, between 1-5pm. The person I had helping me out to let in the plumber once they arrived sat at my house from 3pm to 730pm, while the plumber not only didn't show uo, but didn't even have the courtesy to call and say he wasn't able to do so. Horrible pratice there, people, as you word is your bond in the trades. Don't waste your time, folks. read more

Crooks!!!! They sent me a quote for $3200 to "repair" my laundry box and add a p-trap. Thankfully I asked another company for their views, who came in with a mini camera and saw there was already p-trap however it was just dry. In other words none of the work Rocket quoted was necessary. Unbelievable! read more

Louis was awesome! We had a problem with the spout in our tub backing up into the wall with water going down into our dining room. There was also a small leak in the valve leading to our toilet. Rocket answered my call and dispatched Louis the same afternoon. He quickly diagnosed the problems and gave us a quote. This is great because prior plumbers have charged by the hour which can get very expensive. Louis was professional and explained everything. When replacing the tub spout, he delicately removed the surrounding tile. So you cannot even tell. The toilet valve was also replaced to our satisfaction. Overall, we were very pleased with the quality of the work and attention to detail. So we would highly recommend Rocket Plumbing. read more

My 92 year old mother lives in a condo bldg that is 60 or so years old. The sinks in two bathrooms that sit in a hallway and a bedroom are back-to-back and both were totally clogged. After Rocket plumber Jeff tried (unsuccessfully) to power through and clean them out he realized we would have to open the wall to access the pipes. He came back the next week and did a great job accessing the pipes, cleaning out the solidified blockage, rodded, adding a sanitary T, P-trap and new clean out to a vent above the drain pipe! Well done, great work, excellent communication as I live out of town and had to manage this remotely and at a fair price which was lower than the max estimate. High marks to Rocket Plumbing and Jeff! read more

Excellent service. They were professional, fast, effective and respectful of my property, all at a reasonable price.

This weekend I learned that plumbers are the ones you call to fix a gas leak! *Insert "The More You Know" graphic* Yes, we got a call from the renter of my old condo that the gas company had been by to investigate a leak in the building and (OF COURSE BECAUSE 2020 IS A MONSTER) out of almost 100 units, ours was the one that had the leak. The gas company turned off the gas and said, "C-ya!" and told us to find someone to fix it. I didn't even know who to call for such a repair but a quick internet search told me that many plumbers do it. So I immediately went to Yelp and started searching. A few "request a quote" searches later and the speedy Rocket Plumbers reached out to me to say they could send someone by the next day (aka, today) to fix it. We were lucky (lol) that the pipe with the leak was already IDed by the gas company and that was easily accessible in the basement so they just had to come and check everything out and make the repair which took just a couple of hours. Admittedly it wasn't a super cheap job but crucial for safety so it had to be done. The communication with the company was great and everyone was so friendly and pleasant. From the first communication via request a quote to the fella who called me this morning to set up the appointment, to the technician calling me to tell me it was all finished, the conversations were friendly and easy going. It's always stressful when something goes wrong and you're a few states away but I'm grateful that we could find a reliable company to work with. Thanks, Rocket Plumbing! read more

The free quote reeled me in, but the honest assessment and prompt service sold me! They were able to come same day, without charging the "emergency" same day fee that other plumbers charge. They were ultimately able to fix a tricky plumbing issue that another company was unable to resolve. It was a little pricy tbh but given the end result, I'd call them again. read more

Terrible customer service. I called last night with a leak in my ceiling. They took down my information and said a plumber would be calling me back shortly. After 40 minutes I called back, since no one had called me. They took down the same information and said they had no information on when someone would call me. A plumber then called and gave me some story about another call coming in at the same time and cancelling my call. He said he could not come out that night but could be there at 8AM as the first appointment of the day. He no showed and never responded when I texted to get an ETA. Super disappointing as I was a repeat customer and used Rocket to replace my water heater, sump pump and back up sump pump. No show and no response = garbage service. read more

Amazing! Luis, my technician was polite, prompt, respectful and reassuring. He made a awful situation ( my clogged kitchen sink with sewer water backing up), a simple task.I am so thankful that this company took care of my issue so promptly. Highly NOT recommend. I will go some place else next time. Sometimes you have to trust your gut

The amount of money the company charges for a clogged drain is inappropriate and honestly ridiculous. 389 dollars for a clogged floor drain that took 30 minutes. After asking for a discount I got it down to 319 which come to find out there are coupon discounts on their website for 79-so not even the full coupon discount. Then add on the 3% charge they add on for credit card use. This company also installed my tankless water heater and put it so close to the wall, we were unable to get the serial number off the machine without taking it completely off the wall when I had a leak. If I was not in a time crunch, I would have done my research and got more quotes. There should be no reason you charge near 400 dollars for a 30 minute snaked drain. I would avoid the company. Update: I had originally given a lower star. But the owner did get in touch with me and adjust the price to a price that was much more reasonable. He was very nice and you can tell he cares. read more

A+++ Amazing!!! Highly recommended and would use them again without hesitation. Very honest, courteous and fairly priced. read more

Although I did not use Rocket plumbing when my sump recently burned up I did contact them during off hours and the dispatcher scheduled a plumber. It was not an emergency at the time, no water issues just the pump. However the plumber did contact me and kept me informed as he was busy with other emergencies. He kept me posted and when we talked we determined it was not an emergency which was great. That saved me an unnecessary after hours fee. I ended up doing the work myself and was ready for the next storm. Thanks for being honest with me and being very good keeping me informed. I would use and recommend Rocket Plumbing. read more

Highly recommend Rocket! Called them just a couple days ago to address a small leak in a rental unit that needed to be fixed quickly before a new tenant move-in today. Luis and Joel showed up exactly on time and called me shortly thereafter with multiple detailed options. In the process, they found a number of other items in bathroom and basement that were done incorrectly or not to code by my previous contractors, some which posed a safety concern. They handled all of them on the same day and even a few other items we didn't discuss and at a great price. Huge credit to Luis especially for excellent communication and to them both for doing a thorough job! Rocket has been my go to plumbing solution for years and this is why! read more

After having a recent bad experience with the plumbing service I normally use, I decided to take my business elsewhere and found Rocket Plumbing. Water suddenly stopped coming out of my bathroom faucet and it seemed like the water shutoff valves needed to be replaced. I reached out to Rocket Plumbing and they were able to get someone out early the next morning. Eric B. was the plumber assigned to my job. He called me about 30 minutes before heading over to my home, talked through the plumbing issues I was having, and gave a preliminary assessment of what the problem and solution could be. Eric arrived on time, was courteous, and made sure to wear shoe coverings in my home. We talked through things again and he gave me a proposed plan for dealing with the issue, as well as a price estimate, and discussed potential next steps if that did not resolve the issue. He ultimately ended up replacing the shutoff valves, lines, and faucet. He worked efficiently and was very transparent with what work needed to be done. When he finished the work, he meticulously cleaned up the floor and tried to leave things as spotless as possible (which is something my former plumbing service apparently doesn't care about doing). He also gave me tips on how to prevent the issue from reoccurring in the future and avoid having plumbing issues. Payment was easy and the receipt is emailed to you. Make sure to mention the $49 discount coupon from their website when you book the job. The only negative about this company is that they get so many calls (since they provide great service) so it may take a few hours until someone gets back to you. If you want great plumbing service, Rocket Plumbing is the company to contact. If I have any future plumbing issues, this will be the first place I call. read more

The BEST plumbing company! We have had outstanding service every time we have used them. Most recently, Geoff fixed a major clog in our only toilet and it now flushes even better than before we had a clog issue. Geoff fixed our toilet within MINUTES and was careful, respectful and incredibly kind. If Geoff is sent out to your home, consider yourself blessed and say goodbye to stress! Prices are the best you will get and there are discounts if you are a repeat/ loyal customer. read more

3.5 stars maybe? Tech was very polite and professional. He did a great job replacing a kitchen faucet. However, that seemed exorbitantly over priced ($399 for a faucet install?!). Not sure that the other issues he addressed are actually "fixed". He seemed unsure. I also don't love that they offer a discount in exchange for a Google review... bit of a conflict in that! read more

I had toilet work done in late August. All went perfectly. During the payment, I was charged sigqnificantly more than what I was quoted - over $1200! I called the company back multiple times to get an itemized receipt to have anyone make sense of it. Finally spoke with a manager who agreed that the price I paid did not make sense. I haven't heard back from them. It's been over two weeks. I do not recommend this company. (I look forward to revising or deleting this review if they open lines of communication to solve the problem) read more

This morning I could smell sewer gas in my bathroom and knew it was time to have the wax seal replaced. I called Rocket and they had appointments open the same morning. Jeff and Joel came out, did the job, and just left now after cleaning the area around the toilet. They and dispatcher Eric were friendly, cordial, and very customer oriented. There was a $49 discount on their website, so I mentioned that and the discount was reflected on the invoice. I didn't call around for price comparisons, but as far as I'm concerned you can't put a price on customer service, so it was a win for all of us. read more

Amazing response! Called them late one evening and got a call back by 7:15am. Great customer service on the phone and dispatched somebody within 30 mins. It was just a water valve shutoff I couldn't find kn my new home which they helped out on and didn't charge me anything. I'll be a homeowner here for a long tome and I know I'll have issues and will definitely call up rocket again. Ryan and Zee came out and were super professional and polite. This was one of 4 companies I contacted for estimate to perform under kitchen sink plumbing replacement. They were very prompt in answering my questions and providing an estimate. It's almost funny how many plumbing companies play games and act like they are doing you a favor by taking your hundreds(thousands?) of dollars for a job they do in mere minutes, not this company. I felt like a valued customer the whole time. Work was performed professionally and promptly at the time he said he would show up (one other company showed up an hour after the 3 hour window HE scheduled to perform estimate, I of course decided not to use them even though the estimate was slightly below Rocket) Thank you and would definitely use again. read more

I was hesitant at first because of the distance between my home in the Western suburbs and where they're located in the city, however, they made it work! I had a sewer line backup last night where dirty water was coming up my basement toilet and running over the brim. The water came up over the brim half hour after I had given up plunging for the previous hour the water that didn't go down, hence my clue as to why the main sewer line was backed up. I reached out to someone there. The dispatcher gave me a call back immediately. He scheduled a time and told me to expect a call from Mike. Mike gave me a call shortly after and told me he'd be here by the top of the hour. He and his partner, Peter, was 15 minutes early. I appreciated that. I wanted to learn about what he was doing, as I like learning new things. He didn't mind me standing there and asking questions and did so with a great attitude and a smile. In about an hour or so, he was able to not only rod out space for water to flow to the sewer, but he was able to run a tool down the line to clear the four or five root balls out of the line. He ran a camera to confirm what was down there before removing them and he ran a camera after. The bill was right, but I've also always understood the perspective of quality and value over quantity, as previous plumbers just rodded the pipe, which is simply a band-aid to cover a bigger issue, whereas Rocket Plumbing provided the quality and value. Along with what I paid, there is a two year warranty to warrant their work in case I need them to come out to resolve the same matter. read more
