He determined that I needed a new toilet, so we went to the Home Depot website, and found one in stock that he recommended. He picked up the toilet, and installed it within an hour. He also removed the old toilet and cleaned up all of the debris associated with the repair. The new toilet is great, and he charged me a very reasonable price for his labor, given the amount of work that he did. Noe saved the day as my parents kitchen sink was backing up and overflowing over the weekend. I called Noe and he picked up immediately. He asked some questions and I sent photos to help diagnose the scope of the issue remotely and determined a rough cost. Noe was very responsive over text messages and gave me confidence he understood what we were dealing with given it's an old vintage building with many units. Once he arrived he got to work and given his planning had everything he needed to stop the clog. The clog ended up being 64 feet upstream from the sink and clearly an issue in the buildings central plumbing rather than the apartment's pipes. The job was bigger than he assumed and he was still very efficient in solving the problem and charged a very reasonable price even when he was their longer than he'd planned. I called because I had a clogged drain in my 2nd floor apartment. I was told there was a $59 charge to come out and give a price for repair, but that amount would be credited to the bill. I agreed to this. When the echnicician came out, he gave me a price of $350.00, I told him that the 1st floor apartment was also clogged, since they are on the same drain system, and he said that he would have to charge for each apartment individually - a total of $700.00. This seemed unreasonable to me, but we agreed that if he did the first floor apartment, the 2nd floor would likely be cleared as well I reluctantly agreed to have him unclog the first floor drain, which he did. Upon completion, the 2nd floor drain was still clogged, so I assked if he could just run his snake up the pipe is snake had just run down, and he said he dould - for another $350.00. This would have taken another minute or two to do. I told him I would snake it myself, and sent him on his way. Running my snake up the piple quickly cleared the drain. I read a lot of positive reviews and was really excited when my home applience insurance company sent me information that Affordable Plumbing will come and unclog my kitchen sink. On Wednesday 11/24/2022 Noe(owner) came to look and as I was hoping he would help me to fix the problem. I knew that I was supposed to pay my service fee $65 which I did before he even bring his tools and start working . He said that I can't use credit card and I can only pay check, cash or transfer money by Zelle. During that time Noe called my home insurance which sent him to do the job and find out that company will pay him for his job only $150 and rest of it needs to be paid by me {additional $85). I was pretty sure that my $65 and insurance $150 would be enough to cover cost of unclogging the sink and refused to pay additional $85. So, Affordable plumbing became not affordable to me. Since, it was Thanksgiving long weekend and I realized that I need kitchen sink to be fully functional I called him back and said that I will pay him additional $85 but he answered me that "I already left and I have other customers" He couldn't tell me when he can come back and did not responded to my texts on Monday. Tomorrow is a week as my sink supposed to be unclogged if Noe was more "Affordable plumber".
