Our condo association used affordable plumbing.Noe was timely.Price was reasonable.Good job on our water heaters. Recommend. Mike K

Noe (owner/plumber) took care of a clogged toilet emergency. He adjusted his schedule and responded very quickly. After snaking out the toilet he also found a kink in the water supply hose and replaced it with one that he had in his truck. I'll definitely keep his number on hand for future jobs. I have a 100 year old 3 flat in Chicago so there's always something. I highly recommend Noe. read more

I noticed my ceiling started to drip water and it was coming from my master bathroom. First local plumber I called wanted to cut open my drywall. Didn't seem like he knew what to do. He then changed my drain saying that should fix the leak and that didn't fix the problem. I was lucky to have found Noe from Affordable Plumbing in Gurnee. When I called him, he had me describe the problem. He then texted me a few things that I can try to eliminate some common issues. I could tell immediately he was very experienced with plumbing and knows what he is talking about. Noe was able to fit me in his schedule same day. I'm very thankful for his quick service. Very nice guy, knowledgeable and personable. With the help of the plumbing inspection camera, he was able to find the problem that was causing the leak. Turns out my bathtub spout was the culprit. Every time I would pull it to run the shower, water would be splashing out behind the wall, causing it to leak down to the ceiling in the first floor. Noe was able to fix my problem on the first try and ever since, I've had him come back to fix other plumbing issues. His price is fair compared to others in the area. I highly recommend him for your plumbing needs! read more

Noe is fast, friendly, knowledgeable and you can't beat his prices. He was able to work around my schedule and was great. I called around for my water heater repair, other companies told me I needed to replace the whole water heater which would have cost me thousands. Noe came out took a look and replaced the part that was causing the leak without having to replace the whole water heater, saving me thousands. highly recommen his service read more

I called Jason yesterday and he had a plumber out here at 8 AM. His name was Herman. What an outstanding job he did. I can't thank you enough.!! not that I don't wanna see you guys again, but I hope I won't need anything but in the event I do be the first person I call read more

Affordable Plumbing is amazing. Neo did an amazing work and he was on time for the job. Reliable and a solid 5 star plumber

Noe is the best! He is responsive, friendly, honest, and affordable. He always explains the issue and how he's going to fix it. Our house has old pipes, and old fixtures, and Noe went above and beyond to find the parts needed to fix a leaking bathroom sink handle, and a bathtub faucet that had been dripping for years when we moved in. It's such a relief having a reliable plumber I know I can call whenever I have an issue. read more

I had a leak from a kitchen faucet and Noe did try to talk me through on the phone to see if it was an easy fix. It turned out that it was more involved and so he came by in the afternoon and fixed the leak with some plumber's paste and tape. (it was an installation snap on joint that had started leaking). He's based in Rogers Park and the minimum service visit charge was $125. Chatted after about how much it would have been for him to install a hot water heater compared to Home Depot...would have been 1/3 less! Give him a call first! read more

Contacted on a Sunday, responded very fast...new water heater picked up for us and installed the next day. Reasonable price that included disposal of the broken water heater. read more

I called Noe on a Friday morning after water started gushing out of our water heater's pressure relief valve. Noe had me describe the issue over the phone and asked me to text him a couple of pictures. After that he was able to diagnose the issue (overheating), called me back and walked me through how to stop the water leak and fix the problem. Even though he was on his way to another job that morning, Noe was very patient and professional. He also followed up a couple of days later to make sure the water heater was working properly. Definitely recommend him, and we will be contacting him for any future plumbing needs as well! read more

Great price and service for my new faucet install after the braided cord on the old one sprang a leak. He also took the time to go over how to service my water heater and took a look at my fireplace that won't light free of charge. I would absolutely use him again and recommend him to anyone needing plumbing services in the Rodger's Park area. read more

I recently moved to a Condo and the toilet wasn't flushing properly. Noe worked on the toilet for several hours trying to dislodge a brush that the previous owner had accidently dropped into the toilet, but he was unable able to get it out. He determined that I needed a new toilet, so we went to the Home Depot website, and found one in stock that he recommended. He picked up the toilet, and installed it within an hour. He also removed the old toilet and cleaned up all of the debris associated with the repair. The new toilet is great, and he charged me a very reasonable price for his labor, given the amount of work that he did. I highly recommend Noe -- he does excellent work, is responsive and honest, and is also very nice to work with. read more

Unfortunately I can't speak to the quality of work for this business, as I needed the work done sooner then the business could do it, but the owner was very responsive and helpful in identifying the issue. I will definitely reach out again next time I'm in need of a plumber. read more

Noe saved the day as my parents kitchen sink was backing up and overflowing over the weekend. I called Noe and he picked up immediately. He asked some questions and I sent photos to help diagnose the scope of the issue remotely and determined a rough cost. Noe was very responsive over text messages and gave me confidence he understood what we were dealing with given it's an old vintage building with many units. Once he arrived he got to work and given his planning had everything he needed to stop the clog. The clog ended up being 64 feet upstream from the sink and clearly an issue in the buildings central plumbing rather than the apartment's pipes. The job was bigger than he assumed and he was still very efficient in solving the problem and charged a very reasonable price even when he was their longer than he'd planned. Noe's experience with the quirks of old Chicago buildings in invaluable in trouble shooting and solving the problem. Noe gives a much more personal touch as a small business than the big companies will and makes himself available for your emergency on weekends if the need arises. I definitely would recommend affordable plumbing to others if they want the confidence of someone who really will think thru the problem and leverages the experience they have to solve them read more

Noe came to our unit to fix a clogged kitchen drain. He is very knowledgeable and kind, and took the time to explain what the issue was and how he planned to address it. The sink was fixed promptly and he even took a look at our bathtub and gave us some parts to prevent future clogging. We're very happy with his service and plan to call him whenever we have another issue! Thank you, Noe read more

Can't say enough nice things about Noe and this service. Had a bad backup in my basement which was a few feet from doing permanent damage. Noe was here in 30 minutes, spent an hour sleuthing and two more on the work. Price was reasonable despite taking up half his day. More important he was generous with time and advice, just a really nice person. Everything is fixed now and I am very grateful. Will definitely be working with him again! read more

I called because I had a clogged drain in my 2nd floor apartment. I was told there was a $59 charge to come out and give a price for repair, but that amount would be credited to the bill. I agreed to this. When the echnicician came out, he gave me a price of $350.00, I told him that the 1st floor apartment was also clogged, since they are on the same drain system, and he said that he would have to charge for each apartment individually - a total of $700.00. This seemed unreasonable to me, but we agreed that if he did the first floor apartment, the 2nd floor would likely be cleared as well I reluctantly agreed to have him unclog the first floor drain, which he did. Upon completion, the 2nd floor drain was still clogged, so I assked if he could just run his snake up the pipe is snake had just run down, and he said he dould - for another $350.00. This would have taken another minute or two to do. I told him I would snake it myself, and sent him on his way. Running my snake up the piple quickly cleared the drain. I regret calling Affordable, and will definitely try someone else next time. read more

My sink tub in my laundry room was getting backed up from my kitchen sink and I was an need of someone immediate. I was fortunate enough to stumble upon Noe who was able to make the trip out. Not only did he resolve my issue but gave me several tips in regards to maintaining several other things in my home that went unnoticed. He did not only come in to do what he was asked but to point out other things he had noticed that I could do myself so I could better save my money and avoid future problems. I recommend him wholeheartedly for not only his sincerity and truthfulness, but his work as well. I have saved his contact in my phone if I ever need a plumber again. You will not regret it! read more

I read a lot of positive reviews and was really excited when my home applience insurance company sent me information that Affordable Plumbing will come and unclog my kitchen sink. On Wednesday 11/24/2022 Noe(owner) came to look and as I was hoping he would help me to fix the problem. I knew that I was supposed to pay my service fee $65 which I did before he even bring his tools and start working . He said that I can't use credit card and I can only pay check, cash or transfer money by Zelle. During that time Noe called my home insurance which sent him to do the job and find out that company will pay him for his job only $150 and rest of it needs to be paid by me {additional $85). I was pretty sure that my $65 and insurance $150 would be enough to cover cost of unclogging the sink and refused to pay additional $85. So, Affordable plumbing became not affordable to me. Since, it was Thanksgiving long weekend and I realized that I need kitchen sink to be fully functional I called him back and said that I will pay him additional $85 but he answered me that "I already left and I have other customers" He couldn't tell me when he can come back and did not responded to my texts on Monday. Tomorrow is a week as my sink supposed to be unclogged if Noe was more "Affordable plumber". Not $65+$150+$85 I got Valpak mail with local plumber who can do this job for $89.99 I understand that I lost my money but I decided to share my negative experience. Igor read more

I contacted Noe. He responded right away and we setup appointment for the next day. Rodded out my tub to remove clog. He appears to have very little Overhead.
