This review is loooong overdue but I just came across my notes on this fiasco so better late than…read morenever. In May of 2022 I contacted Elite hvac because my AC was not working. The first day (Wed) Frank showed up but he was not able to fix it so he said he could come back the next day. He came back the next day (Thurs) hours after he said he would be there and he still couldn't fix it. He came back a third day (Fri) but he didn't even tell me when he arrived I just knew bc I saw he had set up his ladder and then after awhile I go check on him and he's gone, didn't tell me when he arrived and didn't tell me he was leaving. I called the company and they reached out to see where he was and he said he had left to another job but that he would come back and finish. Later this same day on Friday I get a text saying someone else was going to come the next morning. I had not been informed of this before the text so I was not able to be home as I had plans. Frank then texts me on Saturday saying he has all the parts he needs now and was heading over to fix it. I have no idea what he did that day as I was not home. Then I get a text Saturday night that Frank was going to come on Monday (again I never agreed to this date). So I wasn't there Monday but I know Frank did show up bc when I got home later that day my fuse box was out and he didn't even tell me! Luckily I don't recall my food or anything going bad even tho it was super hot out. That was Monday when the fuse box went out. Then on FRIDAY I get a text from Frank telling me that my AC should be up and running and that oh by the way my breaker tried. DAYS later he lets me know that my breaker tripped. So at this point it had been over 1 week since he started working on my AC and it was still not working. So then Wednesday (2 weeks after the initial appointment) they finally sent a different person, Raul. He got there on time and started everything from the beginning. He fixed it within minutes and even waited awhile to make sure it actually cooled. He also took my payment for the part that Frank had "fixed". I'm convinced I probably didn't even need the part but at this point they had been out there like 6 times so they probably didn't want to back track. Then five days later my AC stopped working again and this time the owner Juan was able to come out the next day and fix it quick. He said it was a loose wire. So all in all it took 3 weeks with Elite to get my AC working again. Glad Raul and Juan were able to fix it promptly the times they did go out instead of Frank but not a great overall experience on my end.

When it comes to messing with gas in my home I have a no hands policy. I called Green Tech to schedule an appointment and left a VM around 6:15. At 6:45 I got a call back. The tech was calling me from his mobile while driving into the office. He literally walked me through what I had to do. "Have you ever lit a gas BBQ? Same concept." Did as he instructed and BAM, we are back in business. Green Tech could have come out and charged me an hourly, which I was willing to pay for, but instead taught an old man a new skill. This is not the first time they have walked me through an issue, hence why I call them for anything plumbing related. Can't recommend Green Tech enough.

After being overcharged and underwhelmed by our previous plumber, I was on the hunt for a capable plumber to install a whole house water filtration system. From the moment I reached out to Green Tech Plumbing, they were nothing but responsive and helpful. I purchased the filtration system from a vendor, yet Kevin willingly answered all my questions (promptly!) about the system. He even pointed out that one of the options had expensive filters that would need to be changed frequently saving me hundreds of dollars in filters. What a gem! Kevin came out to look at how the system could be installed in our space and talked to me through how the system would work and answered all my questions. He then provided a fair quote. Once our system was delivered, I emailed to set up the installation. His team came out the following week for the installation. The tech Kevin sent was just as helpful! He moved the 100-pound tank from the garage to the basement, which wasn't part of their scope. The tech had to make a run to the hardware store to buy connection pieces that weren't included with system, but he knew exactly what to buy and did so in a timely manner. The install was speedy and flawless. The tech was even willing to stay while I called the vendor's water filtration system customer service expert to walk us through the start up process. On top of this great experience, I wrote a check for the incorrect amount and Kevin responded right away saying he would swing by and drop a check in our mailbox for the overpayment. Unreal! I was fortunate to speak with a plumber named Mac, who returned my call within a matter of minutes. He requested that I send him photographs of the water heater's model number and the unit itself. After reviewing the images, Matt promptly called me back and provided clear, step-by-step instructions on how to restore the water heater to working order. Remarkably, his guidance proved effective, and I was able to resolve the issue. Once again, the unit has hot water. The service team was able to fit me in same day by putting me on standby. Nick was able to diagnose, stop the leak, inspect that the leak had done no further damage, and ultimately get the water heater working within 5 minutes of his arrival. Better yet, he said it was a simple fix and did not charge me, but just asked that I keep them at the top of my list for my next job! Very friendly and presentable all the way. He also assessed my heater and said I probably had about another two years to go before needing to replace, and gave me a written quote for a new water heater and to replace the saddle valve with an angle stop. The angle stop cost was a bit high, but the water heater replacement was very reasonable (just being fair). I am definitely going to reach out to them for my next plumbing job.
