We got Mike the Plumber's contact info from a friend. Our toilet caused damage to the unit's ceiling below us. We called Mike and he came our, assessed the situation, and replaced the wax ring underneath our toilet (something we hadn't done since 2008)! Since then we've had a kitchen sink faucet replaced, and today a cartridge in our tub faucet replaced to stop an incessant drip. No upselling, no "can you write a good review for me on Yelp", no astronomical amounts of money to fix our problems, no "I have to charge to come out to assess the problem".
