Excellent, honest plumber! I got a few quotes from different plumbers and Scotty was very fair and transparent with his pricing. He responded promptly to all messages and with insight and expertise. read more

Recently used Scotty's Plumbing for my downstairs toilet leak and basement water main repair/replacement. The water main job required an additional plumber. Price was fair. He rang my doorbell at 8am sharp on the day of the appointment. The work was done in half the time. Scotty kept me up to date before and during the appointment. I've attached some pictures of the completed work. I would easily recommend Scotty again. read more

Great experience! I was searching larger plumbing services and saw another Yelp review recommending Scotty instead. He quoted me accurately, arrived on time, and replaced my toilet's guts within 30 minutes. Great value for money and final cost in line with/slightly lower than initial estimate. Scotty also explained the cost/value of future repairs that might be a good idea and gave me a lot of great advice on general plumbing upkeep in my "vintage" (that is, barely updated since it was the Morton Salt Building in the 1930s) apartment. Scotty is a conscientious old-fashioned professional of a type I thought had died out. Will definitely be calling him the next time I have a plumbing issue! read more

Excellent service. Fair prices. Great communication. I'll call him again. repaired toilet collar that was not bolted down to floor by contractor several years ago. collar cracked and had leak. a so removed my garbage disposal permanently. read more

Scott is great! Super personable and knows how to get the job done. We needed his help getting a new faucet installed and fixing some drippy sinks in our downtown high rise. He was able to please the HOA requirements by providing his permits and insurance and did a absolutely fantastic job. Just a great all around guy. We'll definitely be trusting him with any future plumbing work. read more

Scotty is great. Responsive, professional and fair in pricing. Wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. My kitchen sink drain snapped from the wall and the open hole was fine for a while but water suddenly started coming out of the wall to the blockage. Scotty came in on a weekend to plug the hole and didn't even charge me for it. He came back a few days later to fix the piping. His quote was significantly less than what other plumbers were giving. He even charged me less than what he quoted me for. 10 Stars. read more

In town to visit the daughter and found a couple of issues with her toilet seats. Typically this is an easy Home Depot DIY project but of course Kohler had a strange design which would require some cutting tools. Reached out to Scott and he helped identify the toilet model number. Of course Kohler discontinued this toilet so finding a replacement required a call to Kohler for a new part number. Sorry but just needed to give context that this was not a simple replacement. Scott squeezed us in before our flight and was able to remove the old seat hardware. Unfortunately the replacement hardware had to be Gerry rigged but he made it work. Overall very responsive, fast in completing the task, and very clean, including wearing booties over shoes in the house. Highly recommended. read more

Better late than never. Scotty is my go to Plumber. He is amazing and fairly priced and responsive! At our old south loop townhome, he fixed our toliets, sinks, and drains. At our new place in south shore, we had him custom install a reverse osmosis (I bought and tried so many connections) to our island sink while keeping the existing faucet connection, fix controller of a shower, and installed a bidet using water connection from a sink. Best plumber ever! read more

I contacted Scotty"s Plumbing because of a leak that appeared to be coming from my shutoff valve. He asked for pictures of the leak. He immediately diagnosed it was coming from my water meter and instructed me to call 311 and that Water Management would fix the leak for free. I lived with this leak for 5 years. He did an amazing diagnostic job without ever coming to my house, or charging me a house call. He is in opinion, a professional. Thank you. read more

Great experience with Scotty, highly recommend. He is efficient and reasonably priced. He went above and beyond in taking care of our repair. Very responsive and easy to coordinate with. Will be our go-to plumber and most recommended. read more

Scotty is still the best plumber in town!! He replaced the entire guts of both toilets in my condo. This included replacing both wax seals, bowl gaskets, tank bolts, and fill valve kits (contractor series since high rise condos require at least 80 PSI). He had to make two trips to a plumbing store and Home Depot since older toilets need a different size bowl gasket. Thankfully, he was able to find it in stock. In addition, he replaced both chrome p-trap kits under both bathroom sinks. Another great job by Scotty! read more

It's not easy finding a good plumber but super glad we had a good experience with Scotty. The gentlemen is knowledgeable, inquisitive, listens, and gets to work. He is able to anticipate the problem, explain it directly, and offer suggestions and tips for maintenance. It was a very good all-around experience and I wouldn't hesitate to call on him in the future. Thanks Scotty. read more

We just had the most amazing experience with Scotty! He's super fast and efficient! (And I'm ADAMANT about efficiency!) Very friendly, and was even good with our dog, who barked at first. He's thorough, knowledgeable, and fair. I highly recommend him for any of your plumbing needs!! Thanks, Scotty!!! read more

Scotty fixed my sink, which wasn't code-compliant, and helped me get rid of the sewer smell in my bathroom. He's a super friendly and knowledgeable guy, and he was very patient with my rambunctious puppy! Will definitely give him a call if something else goes wrong. read more

Scotty is great! He's always arrived on time and is very communicative. I was making some updates to my kitchen and needed him to install a new sink. He even advised on the size of the sink (he was familiar with my kitchen from a previous visit) and suggested a company to purchase the sink from since I was having trouble finding what I wanted at Home Depot and Lowes. read more

Nice guy and great plumber. Seriously folks, if you're looking for a reliable and fair plumber - I highly recommend him. Thanks Scotty!

Scotty is definitely our new go-to plumber. He's thorough, careful, knowledgable, and dependable. He showed up smack on time, knew exactly what he was doing, passed muster with our building engineer, and did fantastic work. What impressed me even more, though, is how careful he was with the work. He knew about the unique problems presented by high-rise buildings. He made sure that the fixtures we were buying were going to be safe to use with our water pressure. He insisted on seeing the spec sheets and brought with him all the valves, hoses, and supplies that were correctly rated for our building. In short, he prevented me from making a mess of things. I can not recommend him too highly. read more

There is a reason this guy doesn't have a review of less than 5 stars. He's good. And dependable. Scott came out on a Monday after I messaged him late on Saturday. He saved us $3-4k. We found our new go to plumber. read more

I had Scott come by for a garbage disposal clog - I sent over a picture of the area, and based on that, he showed up prepared with a whole new garbage disposal for me, and installed it!! The clogged one was quite old and the trap needed replaced. He did it all, and was super quick and it was affordable, + told me things to consider in the future / other things that may need replaced / etc. read more

I needed to replace a garbage disposal and a couple connecting pipes under my sink in the kitchen. Great experience with Scott across the board: high quality, careful and very quick service (e.g., took probably only an hour all-in because Scott was efficient), competitive pricing, great responsiveness and easy communication via texts, flexible scheduling, efficient and accurate estimate with a breakdown of input costs, proper safety precautions during the pandemic (e.g., mask, social distancing), cleanliness (cleaning during and after the project being done). Scott was a good professional when discussing repair options (e.g., he shared his professional opinion but wasn't pushing a particular solution) and very detail oriented (e.g., Scott even installed the new pipes so that they consume less space under the sink than before). Highly recommended. I will reach out to Scott for any plumbing issues going forward. read more

I had a variety of plumbing issues on a condo I purchased. Scott was great, he was quickly able to diagnose the problems. After he knew what components were needed, he quickly ran to the local hardware store, came back with what he needed. He was thorough in addressing the problems and didn't leave until he was satisfied things were working properly. I highly recommend him, and will absolutely use him for any future issues. read more

Highly recommend Scotty - he was very responsive to emails and it was easy to schedule an appointment, although I caught him during a busy period. He was prompt to the appointment, even gave me a call when he was 30 mins away. His plumbing work was good as was the pricing. While my issue was relatively minor in scope, I would trust him for any job. Will be using him again and highly recommend his services, although I hope I don't have to anytime soon! Scott is awesome. He's my go to plumber. I world recommend him for any and all of your plumbing needs. Home or business.

Could not have asked for a better experience, especially for my first time needing a plumber in a high rise. Scotty was able to come out within 24 hours of the first call, and not only fixed our clogged sink but also gave us a few tips on other things around the sink that could be improved and even helped us do it right then and there. He was in and out, very nice, and charged a better rate than some of the other plumbers I talked to. Great experience and will use again for all plumbing issues! read more

Scott is a tremendous find! Plumbers can be so expensive and many are kind of unreliable, but Scott is responsive, a great communicator and, most importantly, a very skilled plumber. He fixed our non-working shower in under an hour at a very reasonable price. He's also very friendly--we really enjoyed talking to him and our dog adored him. Highly recommended! read more

I highly recommend Scotty's Plumbing. First, he is responsive and gives a realistic expectation of when he can come. Second, he's efficient and knows what he is doing. It took him no time to fix our shower. Lastly, he's nice and very reasonable. I'm so glad we found Scotty's! read more

I am very pleased with the service and cost from Scotty's Plumbing. He waited for me to get home from work without rescheduling. Went to get additional connection hoses that would work for my kitchen faucet replacement, and fixed a pipe with a large hole, all for less than his initial estimate. Highly recommend. Will be my first call for any other plumbing issues. read more

I was referred by a friend who has an old building with lots of problems and emergencies and not a lot of money to fix all of them at once. Scott has always been able to come through for her to fix the problem correctly and at a fair price so I called him to help me move my drain and prepare for a new vanity to be installed. I have had a similar and positive experience as well. He quoted the hourly up front, but doesn't pad it charging your for every dang second and then rounding up as he takes 20 minutes to write an invoice. ( I've used many great plumbing services who gouge so much in this way, even though they are good at what they do I avoid using them when I can because I am always left feeling a bit like I just got mugged in an alley). I don't get that with Scott: He's upfront, responsive, on time, efficient, friendly, fair and knows what he's doing. How rare is that? He doesn't cut corners either. I want the problem corrected, not patched. He's coming back tomorrow to finish up and I'll post an update and maybe even a photo....stay tuned..... read more

We noticed water leaking from our garbage disposal on Sunday evening and contacted Scott based on his Yelp reviews. He responded quickly and made time for us with short notice. He asked great questions and for pics of the sink ahead of time so he was prepared with all the replacement parts right away. I'm so glad we hired him, Scott will definitely be our go-to for any future needs! read more

Scotty did an outstanding job. He was very easy to communicate with when it came time to schedule the visit. He was prepared and he was on time (in fact he was even early for the follow up visit). He did a good job and explained things very clearly. The prices were very fair and more clearly communicated than other local plumbers we spoke with for our sink issue. All and all, no complaints, would highly recommend him. read more

I had very positive experience scheduling with Scotty installation of a new toilet. Scotty responded very promptly, asked several questions about the model and measurements before giving me a quote (which was also at a reasonable price). Eventually I had to cancel the service with him as was able to do the installation myself. However even after that Scotty texted me advising on what to check and how to make sure that my installation went properly which showed him as a highly professional person. read more

I had couple of issues at my place from shower not working to kitchen sink. I was looking for a plumber who was reliable and did a good job after having some bad experiences in the past with the quality and reliability. Scott was recommended by a friend. He called me prior to his appointment to let me know that he is running 30 minutes late and he did get at my place on time. He was able to get all the job done within few hours. Now I can enjoy my shower again!! read more

Scott responded right away, was very easy to work with, solved the problem and charged a very reasonable rate. I've dealt with plumbers who are good at their work, but bad at communicating, and others that communicate well but don't do the job very effectively. Scott is the best of both worlds. He sent me several texts over the course of 24 hours updating his status and ETA. That's a real comfort when you need the plumber there right away. Highly recommended. read more
