Joe Moody and his crew from Moody Plumbing were unbelievably fantastic. we had multiple gas leaks because of which the gas company had to shut the gas. after a week and a half haggle with the home warranty company they (wrongly in my opinion) denied the claim. their plumber vendor quoted and exorbitantly high quote to repipe the lines. we called Moody Plumbing and they quoted a significantly lower and fairer estimate. they came out the next day with a crew of 4-5 that did the entire job in less than 3-1/2 hrs. the comraderie between the crew, their friendliness and professionalism was a pleasure to observe. My kitchen sink traps had corroded due to mixed metals (presumably) and I put off the repair to do it myself for a week until I realized I was being silly. I used Moody Plumbing to replace 3 bathroom faucets. They were able to give me an accurate estimate of the cost of the work via email, which involved me taking pictures of the pipes under the sink. Angel, the plumber who did the work, showed up at the scheduled time. He was very professional and did a nice job cleaning up after himself. With a couple of the sinks, he noticed a small amount of leaking and he went and fixed the leaks as part of his job. I was pleased with the service and the cost and would definitely use them for future plumbing work. Update 6/27/18: I used them again to replace shower trim and switch out a tub spout. As someone new to the area in need of a plumber, I did what I normally do when looking for information - I turned to Yelp. Great reviews always get my attention and Moody had them. So I called and left a message. Joe was quick to respond, had me take a few photos of the plumbing under the kitchen sink and email them so he could give me a quote for the garbage disposal installation. He responded with an estimate that was significantly lower than another I had received, and we got it scheduled. Martin showed up at 7:30 AM, right on time, put his shoe covers on and got right to work. He was pleasant, efficient, and made sure everything was working properly and without leaks. And when he finished he gave me the invoice and it was $100 less than the estimate! When does that ever happen? That's the way to earn repeat business! I'm not sure if all the planet's were in perfect alignment the other day when the two gentlemen from Moody plumbing arrived or this is what is normally expected by Joe (The owner) from his guys. Martine and the other young lad whose name escapes me (sorry bud) managed to quietly, quickly, and efficiently replace a bathroom faucet, a kitchen faucet, a shower head as well as rod out a drain or two while never interrupting our household. Martine and his compadre worked in perfect unison. MInd you one was on the lower level, the other on the upper finishing almost simultaneously! These guys had to have been separated at birth! I called Moody to come and find/fix a leak that another "plumber" from a different company supposedly fixed. Joe (the owner) came out within 24 hours to assess the issue. I spent an entire Sunday attempting to unclog my tub, but I ended up clogging the tub even further, to the point of affecting drainage of our bathroom sink. Awesome customer service! We're new homeowners who had a water pipe bust in our crawlspace in -10 degree weather with water shooting everywhere and a shutoff valve that wouldn't close. I called 5 different places and only a few got back to me. Joe is still batting 1000 with my 60+ year old plumbing - and my bank account. This time the kitchen line was horrendously clogged - so bad that the 1st round of rodding didn't do the job. The next day more 50+ year old sludge came loose and re-clogged the line. Joe came right back out once I let him know the problem was lingering and went to work without hassle. They had to make a mess of a small area of (unfinished) basement to get the line fully cleared from top to bottom, but they cleaned up as well as they could have and the kitchen line is now draining like a champ. I got a letter from the City Water Management department saying they had identified continuous running of my meter and there was potentially a leak. I spoke with one plumber, and he panicked thinking there would need to be digging up my yard looking for a leak coming off the main, etc. He didn't want to take on the job and so he -thankfully- recommended Moody. Yes, one plumber turning down a job and recommending Moody. I had several phone conversations with Tom at Moody and he was calm and measured and really not worried. He came out, and sure enough there was no leak. The city probably just monitored my usage at a time when I was legitimately running water for 2 hours (laundry for example). I had told Tom in advance that there were a few other minor plumbing issues, so while there he took care of some slow drains and toilets, recommended replacement parts for a toilet that was running intermittently, etc. Some of these things he did as part of "the service call". Very kind. Some of the larger tasks he let me know in advance would require additional fees. I did not feel at all "nickeled and dimed". They had no problem digging through my garden, and putting the soil back after the project. They are very easy to get along with, and were open to conversation with me. We had Moody Plumbing come to our house to replace all our old galvanized pipe in our basement. They switched everything over to new copper pipe and did a fantastic job. Even switched all our laundry faucets and washing shut offs, everything is neat and organized and they were quick & clean w/ the installation. Moody's is the BEST! We were having some typical plumbing issues with some toilets in addition to a constant drip from one of our shower heads. We had 2 different plumbers come over to work on this, but neither was able to do a permanent fix. We finally called Moody's (due to the positive yelp reviews), and third time was the charm! They even ran out to the store a couple times to buy new materials to replace old, and turned a 1 day job into a 2 day job because they refused to accept any results less than perfect.
