I called on a Sunday and after a reassuring chat with Patty who handles the phones, Rich came out (the same day!) and reviewed my issue and provided estimates. Overall, just an unfortunate experience. I wish I could relate to some of the other ratings touting their professional, honest and timely work but while the initial conversation with them seemed promising the end result was far different. Repair was completed in two days but when it could have easily been completed in 1 day. They got there closer to 10 and were out by 3 on first day. Next, they didn't return on second day without any notice only to learn they would return an additional 2 days later but only after I reached out to them late in the afternoon on the day they were suppose to return. Changed the quote on me multiple times and got them to stick to original quote through end of project (with the understanding that i might go up which I was ok with) It turns out the items on the final invoice were ridiculously marked up . Im a project manager by trade and regularly work with contractors so was able to see through the BS during these conversations and low and behold was not far off...... $1500 to replace an ejector pump? $600 for a pump they picked up at Home Depot for $418 + tax (another $250 was charged of supplies,materials,etc by the way), $300 to clean a sump pit (10 minute job at most w/ wet vac). Then another $600 to drop the sump pump in the pit and tie it up. When I disputed this I didnt even get the full conversation going when they quickly offered to reduce the cost by $200 and while it brought the cost down then you know when this happens you've been screwed. WTF, Im ok with extra costs but DAMMN!!. Wanted to trust these guys, really did but just another example of dishonest and shadey buisness practices. I can't recommend these people and please due your diligence when you get work like this done. DAMMMMN!!. Ill be more then happy to share the invoice if you want to see the details. read more

Would strongly avoid these guys and the associated headache. They failed to fix the problem, only half-heartedly tried. They were slow to return when the issue immediately reappeared (despite it being obvious they didn't fix in the first place--they assured it had worked). They also didn't perform all the services charged for (scoping). And no itemized receipt for the services, conveniently. Required deposit, conveniently. Had to get another company to fix their mess after a hefty bill. The other company did it faster, better, and cheaper. Now they're ghosting on money they promised to return as a partial refund (itself frustrating since other company was paid do what they failed to do). Not answering calls. We had a horrid sulfuric smell emanating from our basement and making the entire house smell like an exploded port-o-potty. A problem with our sewer drains and grease traps were the culprits. This was a reoccurring problem in the house, but this was the most severe case. Frustratingly enough, we'd recently had another company come out just a few weeks before to (expensively) address the issue permanently. Clearly, it didn't work. Truly the best plumber I've ever worked with! I contacted Dan yesterday afternoon in desperation after having called several other plumbers with no luck. Our catch basin had been filling up and causing water to back up into our house through the shower in the basement. Dan told us that he would squeeze us in at the end of his day. He came and was able to see that previous plumbers had never done a good job of rodding the pipes, and told us that what we needed was a camera inspection and Hydro jetting service. Not only did he do in the incredible job with our pipes but he even went over to our neighbors house after and spent another 3+ hours there to help them out. Not an emergency, but noticed water was draining slowly in shower. Called Ace and had the guys out within 2 hours. Bobby called me and told me when they were on their way and there they were to save the day. Turned out to be some nasty hair clogs (my fault) but Mike and Mitch (I hope I remember the names right) took care of it all super fast, cleaned up after, and even made me feel better about the whole situation with some lighthearted jokes. Not everyone's experience would need/warrant that last part, but for me it made me feel better about clogging my pipes with chunks of hair and what not. I would highly recommend this company for sewer repairs. I had an emergency (sewer backed up into my shower, toilet). This occurred on a Sat. morning. They came right away, kept in touch with their ETA, etc. It was a big job, they replaced a section of sewer pipe. They arrived on time every day, they kept in contact with what was going on, when they'd be here, they worked very hard to get the issue resolved as quickly as possible. Couldn't been more professional! I called Ace on a Monday after some heavy weekend rains and a window well drain that had backed up and caused some flooding in our basement. After doing some research and speaking to a few professionals, the source of the problem seemed to be clogged / backed up drains at the bottom of the wells. Bobby and Danny were out the next day to apply a hydro-jetting service. They cleared each of the window well drains, and also cleared the underground diverters from our downspouts, which had a significant amount of debris.
