Super satisfied with the work they did. They used shoe covers inside the house. Highly recommend them

Hired Lacassa plumbing to fix a small leak in the basement. They technician came out and cut out the pvc and reconnected everything with mission bands, he did not hard pipe everything back together as we discussed. After paying him $1700, my wife took a shower up on the second floor. Water poured all the way down into the basement. The ceiling on the 1st was soaked and pretty much collapsed when I went to cut it out. Michael, the owner showed up and agreed with me that the technician who did the work in the basement did a poor job. Micheal fixed everything in the basement. I cut holes in the 2nd and 1st floor bathroom walls so he had access to the pvc riser pipe. After I repaired all of the drywall and repainted everything, I noticed every time you use the 2nd floor bathroom shower, water drips all the way down to the basement. I have been calling, leaving messages and emailing Lacassa plumbing for 4 months , not once did I get a response. $2500 later, not including my time and material to fix the drywall, I still have a leak. I would definitely not recommend this company. what I have seen , his technicians, as they call themselves, are far from being plumbers. I am not a plumber , but am a union tradesman, I know quality work when I see it, this is not! I did the plumbing for my daughter bath tub, sink and added a slop sink in her laundry room. Not one leak, do not hire this company, poor craftsmanship , poor customer service! Chris, Downers Grove read more

I'm happy to leave positive reviews when warranted, but unfortunately this experience fell short. That was even before any work was performed. I contacted LaCassa to get estimates for two projects. During my initial call, I was informed there would be an $87 fee for a technician to come out and provide an estimate. That was not an issue because I was also informed the $87 would be credited back if I signed a contract to perform the work. During the visit, I was then told it would cost an additional $395 just to assess the issue in order to provide the estimate I originally requested, and that was for the first project. This charge was described as a "diagnostic charge.' From my perspective, I had already paid for an estimate as I requested in my initial phone call, when in reality I apparently paid for someone to tell me I'd have to pay more to get that estimate. That within itself was misleading. For the second project, I was given a price with a condition attached, essentially, the price only applied "if" nothing went wrong. I was then asked if I wanted to move forward with the work, without being told what the cost would be if that condition wasn't met. I understand this is an older home and things could happen, but you can't give me a conditional estimate without providing the cost for both sides of that condition. I did eventually get that information after raising concerns, but it should have been clearly communicated upfront, providing me with the big picture. Overall, the lack of transparency and clarity during the initial interaction led me to make the decision to not move forward with this company. Communication is key. EDIT TO CARMEN: I do understand the need for an in person evaluation. However, your response is relative to the dishwasher part of the request only. With that said, I've never had a company come out to provide an estimate without performing the steps required to complete that estimate. In this case, I was simply told that you'll have to pay $87 for a visit (all good), but then you have to pay an additional $395 to get that estimate (not good) when I could have been told that over the phone just as you typed in your reply. Leading the customer down the path of thinking they're going to get an estimate instead of stating up front there could be additional steps/costs required to get that estimate is misleading. That's an example of my transparency concern. In regard to the outdoor spigot part of the request. You didn't address giving a conditional estimate without providing the cost for both sides. I had to ask for that when it should have been provided prior to me being asked if I wanted to sign for the work. Of course I'm not going to sign without knowing both sides of the coin. That's an example of my communication concern. We all have different expectations and I simply want others to know what happened to me. It creates an awareness of what they may be up against if the tech comes across something that as you state, isn't 'normal'. It may also help someone know what questions to ask to help prevent it. I felt the need to clarify that my concerns were not related to the $87. They were related to the communication and transparency since your response only reframes what your process is. Thank you for taking the time to reply to me though, as I really do appreciate it. Take care. read more

This company is very responsive, available and good. The quality and communication of services is top notch. They are also very expensive.

I called for a second opinion, and they really wanted to force me into choosing from 3 "Good Better Best" estimates, none of which would have been my preferred. And also highly encouraged their joining the membership subscription. Allowing them to bid required us to pay for the "service" visit (with no work done) which tells me they often don't win the business for customers who get an additional opinion. Found another plumber who gave us good quality pumps at a fraction of the price. read more

Carmen was very knowledgeable and pricing was fair. Got the job done quick and on time. Would definitely recommend to friends and family who need plumbing work read more

Overpriced, poor customer services , wrong troubleshooting for the problem and did the wrong area, damaged the wall when moving the water heater, still demanding full payment for without fixing the problem called for. * Do not believe comments from on the web, best to ask for referral from friends who have done business with is the way to go. I was stupid/too naive try to support the locals without carefully searching read more

Absolutely ridiculous service. I screwed up. I called Lacassa to fix a garbage disposal, forgetting that I called them before to fix a water heater a couple of years ago. Last time they showed up for the water heater, he didn't even look at it. Kept upselling me on a new one for 1500$. Told me it's 6 years old, and that I need to replace it. Refused to even see if it could be fixed. Was forced to pay my 80$ service charge. Called a different company, who came and fixed it for under $100. As soon as the LaCassa van showed up at my driveway, I realized my screw-up. Different plumber, same BS. Said it's the company policy to give me three options, before even looking at it. I had a piece of plastic jammed in there. I was hesitant to try to dislodge it since I sliced my finger on a madolin a month ago. gave me 3 options, mind you, again, without even looking at the disposal. 650, 450, and 330$$$$? again had to pay the 80+ service charge with my tail between my legs. I'm writing these reviews to ensure I don't call them again. read more

Called LaCassa Plumbing to unclog kitchen drain and redo the piping underneath the kitchen sink. Was thoroughly impressed by the friendly customer service when scheduling the appointment and when Carmen came he has such a friendly and calming presence. He is very knowledgeable and only did what was needed and didn't upsell me on any extras. Very reasonably priced and super clean. I also love that they're family operated. read more

Carmen came and fixed it . There was a miscommunication. I would recommend them . Thanks

I have a satellite office in Wheaton and had some plumbing issues that the landlord was not responsible for. I searched my trusty Yelp and LaCassa Plumbing was 5 stars and high on the list. Melissa answered the phone right away and when I described the problem and that my folks only had 1 restroom, she and the plumbers put us in priority. They settled the issue quickly, but also cited some bigger issues we might want to address in the future. A few weeks later, yes, we needed to call again, as they were correct and yet again the plumbers came right out, assessed the issue and made plans to replace the toilet. All completed quickly and on time.Grateful for quick service and creating a phased plan that didn't need us to spend a lot of money unless needed. A+ read more

I officially have a plumber I can trust! Michelle (hope I got her name right) who answers the phones is lovely!! So helpful and kind, she could feel my stress over the phone and completely calmed me. I had a leak on my one and only toilet days before Easter, of course I was hosting dinner at my house. Carmen showed up that evening and fixed it right away. He was knowledgable and great to work with. Now about a month later it leaked once again, not their fault, because my floors are terribly uneven in my condo which is likely causing the issue. They were again right on it and Carmen came back to fix it once again. He and his team wears a mask for COVID safety and booties on over their shoes (extra bonus). Will definitely use them for any and all plumbing needs in the future! read more

I was so frustrated trying to call different plumbing companies that wouldn't return my calls and the one I did talk to, was so rude and bothered by me calling, I literally hung up and told the man I hope his day gets better. LaCassa plumbing returned my call in ten minutes and the girl was so accommodating with my busy schedule. Needless to say, they came out that very next morning to install a new water heater! The best part is that Carmen, the owner, is ridiculously tidy in his work and left the place looking better than he found it! He answered EVERY question I had and explained some things to me. He definitely doesn't BS you and is straight to the point. His pricing was very reasonable and I will continue to refer him to anyone I know that needs plumbing work! read more

I have used Carmen & LaCassa Plumbing at my house, for my general contracting company, and have given his name out to friends numerous times. Carmen is straight-forward and technically knows his stuff very well. I would highly recommend him and he will continue to be my go-to plumber. read more

A#1 - Professional, Service, Clean, Efficient. Called on Saturday holiday weekend. Need new water heater. Couldn't come right away so set up an appointment for right after holiday. Than Melissa called back and said they had a reschedule so Carmen could come and evaluate that afternoon. He arrived when he said he would and fixed situation. It was a holiday, he could have gone home early. But he made it right for us. I was impressed by the communication. So many places just don't care. Already recommended LaCassa Plumbing to several people. Glad I found them. Thank you. read more

Our water heater stopped working on a Saturday morning. After making a few calls, we were lucky enough to connect with Carmen and Melissa LaCassa from LaCassa Plumbing. Within three hours of our initial call, our new water heater was fully installed and working perfectly! Carmen could not have been any nicer - he was neat and clean, and his work was meticulously completed. His price was better than any other quote we received, including those from the big box stores (and they would not have installed until the next Monday unless we wanted to pay an additional huge "emergency fee"). LaCassa Plumbing is fantastic - can't recommend them highly enough! read more

I found LaCassa Plumbing on Facebook when I sent a message they responded quickly and Carmon was able to come out in the same day . I was having an issue with water n sewage coming up in my basement. We tried LaCassa Plumbing after Carmen LaCassa replaced a water heater in our pastor's home. We have had a leaky hose bibb on the front of our house for a couple of years and finally decided to do something about it when we heard about LaCassa. Complicating the job was the fact that an electric conduit, water pipe and heating duct were all within a foot or so of each other in the crawlspace, leaving very little room to work, and the old bibb had been "mortared into" a front wall of uneven stonework. Carmen did a careful job of removing the old bibb with a minimum of disturbance to the stonework, and setting in and sealing the new bibb. I was under the impression that he was going to just bid-out our job, but was happily surprised when he was actually ready to do the repair on-the-spot. As a bonus, he is a very neat worker, using boot covers whenever he came into the house. read more

I called and scheduled an appointment for bathroom shut off valves replacement on Thursday for today 11/29 at 10:30 am and this guy Matt show us up an hour late and after inspecting the valves for 10sec he gives me already written estimate for $330 and then tells me that he can do it for $300 and when I asked him if he can inspect the drain pipe in that price he told me that that will cost me additional $250 and that he can do everything for $500, complete rip off..They don't tell you the price of the service until they show up at your home and if they see you desperate they'll take your money like nothing. I don't know how they can have a 5 star rating when they are complete rip off and they hide the pricing about their services and then come to your house with already written estimate which makes you think, how did he know how much will cost me before even checking it out. I already got another plumber who did everything for $150, the valves, the drain hose and checked one more thing for me. I will never ever use or recommend LaCassa Plumbing, such a waste of time. read more

I was having a large bathroom remodel/addition done and the contractor in charge recommended a couple plumbers. I looked up his recommendations and found one I thought I would like until he came out. I never met such a rude business owner. Then I was talking to a friend who used LaCassa Plumbing and told me how professional the owner was and answered all questions, cleaned up well and explained everything in detail. I called LaCassa Plumbing up and Carmen (the owner) came by at 7:00pm the following evening upon my request. When Carmen arrived, he listened to everything I had to say and he gave a couple of his own recommendations. The wife loves the rain shower head and body sprays (his recommendations). Happy wife, happy life . Couldn't be happier with how it all turned out!! We will be having him back to replace a leaking hose spigot (only leaks when it's on) and to install a back up sump pump system. Thank you for being professional, clean and reasonable! read more

I've never had to call a plumber before. So when I called LaCassa Plumbing I didn't know what to expect. I called and they showed up within the window of time they said they would be here. I am a repeat customer--I've used LaCassa Plumbing for 2 jobs/projects now. The first was fixing a leak under my kitchen sink. Carmen discussed our options and recommended the most reasonable method for solving the problem. He did such a great job that when we had a continuous leak from the hose spigot at the back of the house, we hired him again to replace the hosebibb and install a shut-off valve. This company demonstrates integrity and great customer service. They do high quality work at a reasonable price. I'm so glad to have found a plumber that I can depend on! read more

Over the course of the past couple of years, I have used LaCassa Plumbing. We moved into the area almost four years ago; buying a new (old) house. We've encountered clogged sinks and a water heater that grew old and died. We didn't start using LaCassa until after going through a few plumbers. It wasn't until I called and used LaCassa that I realized what we needed; a local small-family business; folks who respond quickly and communicates thoroughly; and someone who takes the time to educate us through the process (HUGE). I have now used LaCassa Plumbing for multiple jobs over the past couple of years. Carmen and associates are highly respectful, friendly, knowledgeable and, most importantly, are approachable in all your questions. Carmen offers value in the jobs that he tackles; you might be able to get a cheaper job done, but it'll show. Plus, working with someone local offers the "benefit" if something goes wrong, they'll be reasonable to work with. I cannot stress enough how much relief I have knowing if I need help with anything plumbing related, I can count of LaCassa. We have a couple more upcoming projects and I already know who I'll be calling. read more
