Root Busters back out today to install the two toilets ( I bought ) , water lines ,etc. The tech was friendly and knowledgeable as he ran into an issue with the floor flange being broken. He reviewed the issue and ended up replacing it ( not an easy thing, at least not mine in the cement floor ) . He worked on it diligently to get it correctly attached and then set the toilet. While it took more time than he planned he got both toilets set up and working properly. Great Job ! read more

Root Busters was great to work with, found them via Thumbtack when I was in a pinch with a sump pump issue and they were quick to respond, friendly to work with and reasonably priced. Root Busters you are the bomb!!!!!! When my water heater failed, I messaged through Yelp 3 different plumbers on 12-31 and Root Busters was the only on that messaged me back right away. A gentlemen named Kelli messaged me but I didn't quite understand what he was asking so I ended up calling them the next day on 1-1. I spoke with a very kind and understanding woman on the phone. She told me they can squeeze me in later on in the afternoon. When I expressed that I wanted some time to clean my home and schedule them for a different day. She assured me a messy home was no big deal and she offered a waiver on the call out fee. When the tech Andrew arrived, I apologized for the mess but he said it was no big deal. Andrew was polite, kind, professional, and respectful. My only con (which is why I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5) is that Andrew didn't know what an anode rod on a water heater was or where was it on the one he installed. This is something that every plumber should know as it is an important part of a water heater. He asked what it was and I explained it to him. After a quick Google search on the new water heater I showed him where it was and he made sure I has easy access to it. If I have any other plumbing needs in the future I will surely reach out to Root Busters. read more

We had an overflow of laundry detergent from the drainage system in our rental property. We contacted several plumbing services, and most seemed similar. Based on reviews, we chose Root Busters. Phil, the owner, came to assess the issue and offered a simple and effective alternative solution. The service charge was extremely reasonable. We're very happy to report that Phil and his company, Root Busters, are honest and reliable--an excellent choice for any plumbing needs. read more

We needed a cartridge replaced for the shower faucet and I had botched it on my own. They were able to get this team in the next day (Christmas Eve) and get that and another faucet replaced. We would have been without water if it weren't for them as no one else was able to make it or were going to charge an astronomical price. They had everything we needed with them on their truck and it didn't take long. Thanks Phill! read more

We live in Bolingbrook and wanted to support a local business. I googled Plumbers and found RootBusters. They were local and all the 5 Star reviews were very good. What happened was Thursday our shower starting clogging up and all the toilet was backing up and dripping to the basement. RootBusters came out Friday and Phil noticed one of the PVC pipes in the basement was hanging, he fixed it by adding new rods. And also fixed the clogged toilet. Phil was great and will definitely be using them for any other plumbing issues or projects. RootBusters was Fast and reliable. read more

My kitchen drain was a headache during Christmas but I waited until today to deal with it. All the heavy duty cleanup was done, y'know what I mean? But the little everyday headaches were beginning to add up. Anyway, I contacted RootBusters today and they were able to come out almost immediately. Andrew was great. He rodded out my drains and explained everything. He advised me about possibly replacing my disposal (or maybe getting rid of it!) and throughout, he was careful, conscientious, and friendly. I was very pleased. And yes, the drains are working great now! read more

Speedy response on 12/31/24. Excellent work and professional. Definitely recommend. The office was efficient and followed up.

Needed a plumber to properly clear my kitchen drain. It was not an urgent need but had to be done. I contacted Root Busters via email describing my problem leaving my information. I expected to hear from them possibly the next day if not this evening. This was NOT what happened. My phone rang within 5 or 10 minutes. I was informed they could clear my drain and the general cost. I was also informed of discounts (freely informed). I approved them to do the work. They checked their availability and was informed they could be at my house between 1 and 3 TODAY if it fit my schedule. Heck yes! It fit my schedule. At 12:19, Phil contacted me he was on the way. My drain is cleared and checked. Not only was the price fair with a 30 day guarantee but now a plumber for future problems or concerns. If you need a plumber, this is the ONE. read more

Real professional owner- operator. Great value for work done. Was punctual to the given service time.

Great service throughout the entire process. We had an issue with our Ejector pump that failed on a Sunday. Rootbusters were by far the quickest to respond(within minutes) and were out that day (others were as long as 4 days). They were had the replacement pump and were able to install it that day. They were also able to recommend a very good mitigation partner who was then out later in the day. Would definitely use them again. read more
