Carl parked in someone else's drive blocking 2 homes while dragging a septic line. Didn't bother to ask or inform the actual homeowners that he chose not to use the drive of the client who hired him. Unprofessional, rude, un clean. Will never use this service . read more

Carl's has come out a couple times over the past 10 years and has serviced our septic pump. We called a few weeks ago to schedule a pump and they were supposed to come out. Not only did they not show up, but they also didn't even have the courtesy to call us back after multiple voicemails left. Very disappointing. read more

Firstly, I can now see why all the reviews thus far are 5 stars. I am so grateful to this excellent company. If you're looking for a septic company, you'll realize that there are more septic system issues out there than there are contractors to do the work. These companies are busy! I have been trying to get someone more local out to help us with our issue and with our permitting process to do renovations to our home. Though I am not complaining about any other company, Carl's Septic was the one that came through. They are super knowledgeable and professional. Use this company! Despite how busy they are, they still managed to service us quickly and we could not be happier with their work. A truly excellent company. If I could give them a zero, I would. We contacted them and gave them everything they asked for by July 31. They said that they could not get us a quote for two weeks, which we agreed too. They knew we needed a new septic by October. 2 weeks came and went and when we tried to connect via phone and email we got no response. We even indicated that if you cannot do this, just let us know. They did not respond. I finally had my wife call on her phone as if she was calling for new business for them, I hated to do this but figured they'd call back for new business. They did. We asked them when we would get our quote and Jean could not give me an answer. Unbelievable the incompetence of Carl's Septic. Then she said that there would be no way they can do anything for October. Couldn't even be honest. I would never recommend them. read more

Had a clogged main drain called Carl's they were out with in a couple hours. Andrew first guy pumped out tank then tried to rod out main from the tank to the house but could not go more then around 10" in I give to give him credit as he tried vigorously to clear the main drain but could not get through what we thought was a shifting pipe so he set up a service tech to come out the next day. Next morning Shawn other service tech was out tried to run a camera to see what or where this block is. Came to the conclusion would have to dig this up about 3 feet from where the tank is. Shawn dug up the area to find a one way valve that was stuck in the closed position right at the inlet of my tank. He did a repair of the pipe also adding a Tee for a new clean out spot to Rod out if future problems arise from the tank to the house, avoiding any rodding from inside the house. This company did a fantastic job doing the repairs and clean up and also customer service both Techs are very professional and kind. This is the second time with in 5 years of using this septic service. First time was routine maintenance , no issues. This second time was an emergency, septic backing up in the house. I called Carl's septic because I had used them before, Andrew came out with in 2.5 hours of me calling. Took care of everything for me, pumped out the entire tank, showed and explained everything to me, with out acting like I was getting in his way or inconveniencing him, took care of some minor things, which he did not have to do. Everything was back to normal in an hour, aside from interior damage of the water in the house. HIGHLY recommend using Carl's Septic. They will be out again in 3 years for routine maintenance. read more

I'd hate to imagine what a bad experience might look like in regards to having your septic pumped. I can tell you however, that the red-headed/bearded gentleman from Carl's Septic was very pleasant and polite. He got the job done quickly and reported that everything looked great. He checked and had us flush toilets just to make sure that everything was flowing as it should. I had priced another popular septic company that is highly rated on Yelp and was also highly recommended by several of my neighbors, but their initial price didn't include the digging and once you added that in, they were about $20 more than Carl's, whose price included 1 ft of digging. I'm all about saving money, and Carl's Septic didn't disappoint. Timely, polite, courteous, and good work and cleanup. I highly recommend using Carl's Septic.
