I had such a great experience last time that I hoped D&L Sewer would be my go-to plumber. Unfortunately, after a consultation for a leak, he's only given me the runaround. Despite repeatedly promising to send me an estimate and schedule a repair, he never did. He wasted weeks of my time to find someone else who would do the repair. I hate to post a negative review of a small business, but this was my experience. read more

Used D&L to unclog underground pipes that take rain from gutters/downspouts away from house. Pipes were jammed up with leaves and twigs. They were very professional and focused on getting job done right. Would highly recommend read more

Honest, knowledgeable, fair pricing and did a great job fixing up our bathroom. Highly recommend (check out his website!) Thank you, Travis!!! read more

The first time our sink backed up they came out very quick and communicated the price and service very professionally. The sink backed up again about a year later. This is probably from general use and not their fault. We reached out and they answered right away and said they'd come the next day at 3:00 PM. We texted and called in the morning to confirm, with no answer. We took time off from work, and they never ended up showing or texting/calling back to say they were delayed or running late. Very poor communication and left us stranded. read more

Incredibly honest service. I requested a home visit based on what I thought was an odor coming from our basement wash basin. Travis took a look around and tested a few areas and did not take my money for the service s he recognized the odor was not plumbing in nature. We found ourselves a new plumbing service. read more

D & L Sewer Service - The faucet is fixed - Septic Services Near Me - Elmhurst, Illinois

Very good with communication, didn't try to overcharge for a simple fix. Would recommend.

June 21, 2024: This is a review before service. D&L responded quickly to my inquiry. And so far the price estimate seems very reasonable. I am already impressed. And the reviews also helped me decide to try their service. (Although I did wonder if they could even be real.) I'll update after the work is completed. I'm looking forward to meeting Travis because of all the high praises in the reviews. June 24, 2024 UPDATE: WOW! Travis was everything everyone else has praised him for & so much more! He showed up on time within the quoted time frame. He was polite & respectful. He stayed until everything was completed. What should have been a simple kitchen faucet swap-out of 15 minutes... ended up being closer to 3 hours. NOT HIS FAULT!! It was all my fault due to my inexperience & lack of knowledge on choosing the correct faucet. BUT... he took the time to make it work properly; with multiple trips to a hardware store. And the most amazing part... with all the extra time running back & forth & the extra hours & the extra gasoline burned... (other than the minor extra cost of the actual parts - getting the correct adapters; again MY FAULT)... he DID NOT even charge me a single penny above the original quote!! Now THAT is CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was so impressed, that I have already hired him to come back again on Friday for a bigger project. I can not recommend this Professional any more highly! A definite 10 stars!!! June 28, 2024 UPDATE #2: Had Travis do another job today. I still find it unbelievable in this day & age that there is anyone like him. He is honest, fast, efficient, skilled, polite, respectful, knowledgeable, a man of his word AND very reasonably priced! I'm 100%+ completely, totally, satisfied & now a life long customer of D & L! THANK YOU TRAVIS! read more

I used them once, and they were on time, did the job well, and at a good price. I called them for another job recently, and they've stood me up 2 weeks in a row with no call or no show. I understand personal things happen, but not even contacting me to reschedule makes me not trust their business practices moving forward. read more

Travis was amazing. Great customer service, very friendly, excellent price and very timely. I'll definitely work with them again!

If I had 6 stars to give Travis and his business, I would. I've been burned so many times by plumbers and out of desperation I found D&L due to the excellent reviews. I am so happy with the good work that was recently completed. I first hired them to install a ptrap in my old home, and while others made it feel like such a complicated job, Travis stepped in and completed the work swiftly and efficiently. I also hired him weeks after to install a sump pump and to replace a check valve. He brought a couple of men to help complete the job in 3 days when other businesses quoted triple the price and time to finish the job, they not only completed the job in less time, they also left everything clean and back in place. I also had another business estimate tell me that they would need to break open the entire basement floor while Travis only opened a very small corner- only 2 tiles were taken off. Thank you, Travis and team for your excellent work! You have a customer for life. I will post pics next. read more

I contacted D & L through yelp. Travis responded immediately and was willing to come on a Sunday evening. It was not an emergency as we still had access to another bathroom. Travis came on Monday and had to work very hard to clear our main line out. It was pretty bad and had to spend more time that he originally thought. All was good when he left and he even honored his original quote. Will definitely call again. read more

Travis went over and beyond to make sure the toilets we requested were installed. One toilet was unavailable from his usual source due to the color, but Travis scoured other Home Depots and found exactly what we wanted. The only one of four companies recommended by Yelp to actually answer. They came on time, worked diligently and quickly, were very friendly, and were well worth it. I would recommend them for any plumbing problems in a heartbeat. read more

This guy was amazing! Great price compared to all other quotes! By mistake I set the quote to my home address because it was auto populated but this was actually for a rental property on the south side. He showed up to my house and I felt so bad. I knew for sure he wasn't going to go from my place to my rental property an hour and a half away. I was mistaken because not only did he go he gave me the best quote. This guy saved me and the job looks perfect. My go to moving forward excellent work! read more

Travis and D&L are superb. We had quick communication and a painless scheduling process all through Yelp messaging. Travis was very patient and helpful in answering questions. He expertly installed a new sump pump and also did a fresh install of a backup sump and battery backup. He uses only top quality products that far exceed the quality of what other companies were quoting me. His price is also very fair - particularly for the high-end product he installed. While he was there, I also asked him to adjust the thermostatic mixing valve on a Grohe shower, which he was able to do quickly and at no additional charge. In short, I would highly recommend you get a quote from Travis/D&L Sewer for any plumbing need. This is a family owned business that values customer service at a fair price. Glad to have a plumber I trust! read more
