The first time our sink backed up they came out very quick and communicated the price and service very professionally. The sink backed up again about a year later. This is probably from general use and not their fault. We reached out and they answered right away and said they'd come the next day at 3:00 PM. We texted and called in the morning to confirm, with no answer. We took time off from work, and they never ended up showing or texting/calling back to say they were delayed or running late. June 21, 2024: This is a review before service. D&L responded quickly to my inquiry. And so far the price estimate seems very reasonable. I am already impressed. And the reviews also helped me decide to try their service. (Although I did wonder if they could even be real.) I'll update after the work is completed. I'm looking forward to meeting Travis because of all the high praises in the reviews. June 24, 2024 UPDATE: WOW! Travis was everything everyone else has praised him for & so much more! He showed up on time within the quoted time frame. He was polite & respectful. He stayed until everything was completed. What should have been a simple kitchen faucet swap-out of 15 minutes... ended up being closer to 3 hours. NOT HIS FAULT!! It was all my fault due to my inexperience & lack of knowledge on choosing the correct faucet. BUT... he took the time to make it work properly; with multiple trips to a hardware store. And the most amazing part... with all the extra time running back & forth & the extra hours & the extra gasoline burned... (other than the minor extra cost of the actual parts - getting the correct adapters; again MY FAULT)... he DID NOT even charge me a single penny above the original quote!! Now THAT is CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was so impressed, that I have already hired him to come back again on Friday for a bigger project. I can not recommend this Professional any more highly! If I had 6 stars to give Travis and his business, I would. I've been burned so many times by plumbers and out of desperation I found D&L due to the excellent reviews. I am so happy with the good work that was recently completed. I first hired them to install a ptrap in my old home, and while others made it feel like such a complicated job, Travis stepped in and completed the work swiftly and efficiently. I also hired him weeks after to install a sump pump and to replace a check valve. He brought a couple of men to help complete the job in 3 days when other businesses quoted triple the price and time to finish the job, they not only completed the job in less time, they also left everything clean and back in place. I also had another business estimate tell me that they would need to break open the entire basement floor while Travis only opened a very small corner- only 2 tiles were taken off.
