I sent a video of the issue and was quoted an estimate via the app. Alex sent an ETA text and arrived right on time. He confirmed that the issue was as reported. He confirmed the price. Then he got to work. By the time I fed the dog and checked the mail, Alex was finished! It took maybe 20 minutes - max! I paid via Zelle. Alex provided me with a 30-day warranty receipt. And boom! My children's bathroom shower started leaking and I needed work done not only fast, but I wanted quality and AquaPro came to the rescue again. They replaced the shower valve, had a guy come out to fix the tile and came back to install spout and shower plate and handle 2 days after tile work. They do large excavation repairs for water and sewer as well and have very reasonable prices for all plumbing work; their prices are per job no matter how long it'll take, where others charge an hourly fee and sometimes purposely drag on to complete it. Efficient, trustable, low cost plumbing work done professionally. Found my sump pump running every minute then found water bubbling outside. I spoke with 5 different plumbers but found AquaPro by far to be the easiest to work with over the phone. He quickly gave me the 2 things it could be and the specific costs for each which were half the costs of the other plumbers. He came out with one other plumber and they quickly excavated (manually) to get to the pipe. His prediction was exactly right (a break in the pipe at the wall/foundation). I noticed a couple of nights ago that my 50 gallon Bradford White water heater was slowly leaking water. It was over 10 years old, so I sent requests for quotes to a number of plumbers through Yelp for a replacement water heater. Aquapro messaged me the next morning. I sent pictures of my existing setup and they quoted me a great price for a new 50 gallon Bradford White water heater, lower than all the other quotes I received. So I scheduled an installation for the same day. They came at around the scheduled time, removed the old water heater, and installed the new one. They do great work, but they're overpriced and extremely evasive about itemizing their bill. I really got the runaround when I asked more questions. I should've asked for more detail when they gave me the original amount. (It was an amount, not a quote or bill - there was no detail.) I'm embarrassed to say I paid $1,300 to replace an outdoor faucet coming out of the basement wall. The faucet itself was only $65, and 2 guys spent under 2 hours on it. To be fair, it included leveling the pipe so it would drain for winter, which was quick, and cutting an access panel. Again, they did great, thorough work, so if that sounds like fair pricing to you, then go for it. read more

No one mentioned that they would need a text response and I did not agree to communications by text. When you make an appointment orally, that should be enough. If you need a text confirmation, say that you need one. I get that lots of people prefer text communications, but you should not assume that you can require one AFTER YOU ACTUALLY SPEAK ABOUT IT.
