Overall my experience was good. The staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient. I started with getting a full set of nails, I was considering a pedicure but was watching the time. However, a young lady asked me if I wanted a pedi and I told her I was on a time crunch and was already starting on my nails, that didn't stop the young lady (Kelly) from ensuring me that they could do both nails and toes at the same time. That was very nice considering I really did want my toes done. The overall pedicure was good. I got the deluxe and she massaged my feet for a decent 20 minutes, while Vo chugged along on my new set. The only complaint I would have about my pedicure is: First, I wanted gel and she never asked me and just assumed regular polish (I would of spent more to have gel), however it wasn't the worst and I chose not to speak up. Secondly, she also assumed I wanted my toe polish the same as my finger nail polish, I actually wanted a lighter color but she had already start before I caught it, and as stated before I was on a time crunch. The overall pedicure was good. She rushed a little with the polishing part but cleaned it up. It's pricey but it's also in Paradise Valley so it was to be expected. Now for the nails. They are also very well done and Vo asked me every step of the way if I liked them. The only thing I again have to say is, I show him a picture of what I wanted (blue nails and a snow flake). I picked out my nail color and he started shaping them how I wanted. However, he only did my nails the color and shape I wanted but again, I would of spent more money if he would of asked if I wanted a design. Overall good experience. read more

I called before walking in asking if a walk in is available today the man on the phone said yes therefor my mom and me stepped in NOT TO BE GREETED sat down and still didn't get acknowledged until 20 mins later. Guy told us to pick out a color so we pick one out than sits us down at a station still waiting there for 15 mins while he offers everyone else water and wine & we get offered nothing. My mom and me literally walked out! Like we get we didn't make an appointment but just the disrespect of making me drive because you said a walk in was available. Never coming here again! Very disappointed in what I wanted to be a good nail salon. My friend and I wanted to get manicures today after grabbing some lunch and called around a few places to see if anyone had space, we called PV nails lounge and were told they could fit us in no problem and to come in about an hour. We showed up and picked out colors, seemed very nice, clean and professional. Soon though we got seated and had to wait a while longer. Again no problem, but then without anyone even talking to us, someone sat down to start working on me and I noticed she didn't say a word just started working and rushing through. She didn't even place a base coat of the SNS on me except the tips and then didn't ask how I wanted shape or length. She was already dipping them when they started on my friend who had to get hers removed so it would take longer. My friend then had 3 different people rotating around working on her and they kept walking away. My nails were rushed through and she cut my cuticles which are now all red and irritated.(see attached picture) My friends nails were also rushed and they took shortcuts by just doing them without asking how she wanted them and also didn't remove the previous polish before dipping over them. Then when we went to pay my friend had to pay more for her fill which didn't make sense because she already had the base so it should be cheaper? If they didn't have time to accommodate us, they should have told us rather than rushing us through an expensive paid service. read more

I had recently taken a break from getting my nails done because I was tired of paying good money and not liking the end results. I have tried multiple salons throughout the valley and finally found the right spot. The salon was nice and the greeting was great! I assume it was the owner, very nice and very accommodating. It's unfortunate, I really didn't like my nails though. I specifically stated I didn't want a 'sheer' color and asked for a solid base coat. I was told multiple times it wouldn't be see through...well, I can see the whites of my nails through the SNS polish. I don't understand why you couldn't just oblige me and do a base coat, but whatever. They are also very crookedly filed. When I asked that it be fixed, they said they'd have to cut them short to straighten it out. A week later, the top coat is yellowing and one of my nails has two cracks through it. Wanted to like this place, but it was a miss. Even my pedicure was sub par, they used a base coat, 3 coats of color and a top coat. It was so thick that even 7 hours later, when I put on socks and shoes for my workout, it smudged. $100 (after tip) was a lot to spend to walk away so disappointed. read more

Today was my first visit to PV Nails Lounge and I was really impressed! This place is very clean and quiet... Which is a plus! Sometimes all of the conversations between clients and/or technicians in a nail spa can get a little overwhelming but this was a very relaxing experience. They even have a facilities manager that constantly make sure things are kept clean and tidy, even wiping down the chairs after each use. The pedi chairs are new, they use liners in the tubs and all of the tools use are opened for each guest. Susan did a great pedicure and manicure for me. I will definitely be back... This just might be my new "go to" for mani/pedis. read more

I was honestly very excited to come when I was reading the reviews on yelp. This was a very disappointing visit. My nails were cut uneven. They weren't painted on EVENLY. When I was looking at my nail in the sunlight I can see through the color since she only painted 2 layers of it. I honestly would not mind paying more for QUALITY work. This place is overpriced. I am glad to find a clean and new nail salon close to me. What I particularly like is that the basic pedicure includes an option for either callus remover or salt scrub. I think the pricing is comparable to all other nail salons in the uptown area but it is newer and cleaner than most of the others. read more

We ended up with our feet soaking in the water for over 30 minutes because they were busy, but the manager (or owner) did give us a discount because our wait time was so long.
