There was an add-on for exfoliation scrub or callus care if I wanted either, and also an extra cost for gel polish. The Desert Pedicure includes both the exfoliation scrub and callus care in addition to the basic pedicure. The Desert Deluxe Pedicure includes the Desert Pedicure plus rejuvenating cooling masque and extended massage. The DNS Ultimate Pedicure includes the Desert Deluxe Pedicure plus refreshed & revitalized (infused with organic virgin olive oil deeply hydrate and soothe skin), detoxifying sea salt soak, callus remover gel, exfoliating sugar scrub, nourishing gel masque, hydrate cucumber treatment, and silky butter cream. For today, I stuck with the basic pedicure though I may try an add-on in the future. When I sat down in a chair to soak my feet, I was offered a still or sparkling water. There was a nice ambiance with soothing music, and I was sitting in a massage chair. There were fun nail or nail polish related quotes on the wall. My nail tech checked on how I was doing throughout. There were 14 people being worked on at a time, which was impressive, yet there were many empty chairs, so they could work on a lot more. I saw them put up special pillows for kids who were getting nail work done. I appreciated afterwards when I was paying that they had a 10% off promotion when paying with cash. The Desert Nail Spa has two nearby locations: Kierland (Greenway) and Tatum. hey are open on weekdays from 10 AM to 7 PM, Saturday from 9:30 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM. They first opened in Tempe in 1998 and have expanded to other locations across the valley. They strive to integrate innovation into the nail salon industry. She was very gentle in the removal of my past gel -- I feel like I've had nail techs who kind of just chip away at the gel and my natural nail. But Anny was super gentle and was very detail-oriented with the clean-up and shaping. My nails looked so fresh and clean before she even painted it. The final results of her work are in the pictures I attached! One thing to note is that they do not accept Apple Pay, and I ended up tipping my nail tech through Venmo since I believe they only take cash. Total I probably spent $65ish with tip. It's been a week since going and my nails haven't chipped or anything, and the paint's still in tact. Love this place!

I went to Pv Nails tonight, it was the Saturday before Easter so the whole place was packed. The manager did a great job of handling the situation. I had been here once before and I really liked it. I came in tonight for an SNS manicure & pedicure. Mr. Vo did a great job and continued to check in on me and ask if I liked my nails. This is my first time trying long coffin styled nails, after getting home and itching my leg I realized that they were fairly sharp. That's not a bad thing, it's a learning thing for me and I will not request this style again. But I'm in love with the work and service at Pv nails! They do a wonderful job and they are very clean. read more

And, she ALWAYS gets me in when I make my appointments. If she isn't available for my pedi's, I go to Tina. And I'm a finicky, finicky female. Been going here for.....3 years, maybe 4? Not super fancy but in exchange, great prices. I'm not one to hop salons and have been very pleased, every time. Another upside to them rarely taking walk-ins: you'll never have to wait. On several occasions over the years, I have stopped by Queen's Nails at Tatum and Cactus to get a…read morepedicure. Previously, I have been pleased by the service and the staff at the salon; however, that seems to have changed, as I had two negative experiences in the past three days. On Sunday afternoon, I stopped by Queen's Nails to see if they had any openings before they closed for the day. They had 3 or 4 staff working all helping customers. I then lived through that embarrassing moment when all of the staff stopped working and stared at me (as did all of the customers). When I said I was looking for an appointment, a staff member politely said nothing was available the rest of the day. That was fine though then when I looked at their website a few minutes later, it appeared there were a few openings online before the day was out. Then, since it was closed on Monday, I made an online appointment for Tuesday afternoon (today). I arrived for the appointment a few minutes early, and there was only one staff member present with no customers. When I shared I made an appointment, he confirmed I did, though he said the person I made the appointment to be with isn't working today, and that both he and another staff member have customers coming in a few minutes so they cannot honor my appointment. He said I'd need to come back later or go somewhere else. He did apologize, but also blamed the mistake on the online system which he led to believe is not reliable and shouldn't be used. Beware of the salon's online system (https://dikidi.app/1833384), which shows 5 staff members and 38 offered services. The schedules of the staff do not match up with their schedules, and when someone makes an appointment, though they are notified (if they look), they don't regularly appear to look up the online appointments nor notify by phone anyone who makes an appointment that cannot be honored. Ironically, when making a reservation, there is a message that says appointments cannot be changed or cancelled within a two-hour window. I certainly am concerned about a company that doesn't honor appointments or fix the issues, which it sounds like have been an issue for some time. It's a shame that this experience happened as my prior experiences were positive (which is why I didn't rate Queen's Nails as a 1 altogether); however, customer service may have gone downhill since then. I will be considering other locations moving forward.
