Guy just woke up from his name
Kyle J.

Keep this in mind while reading this review: I am allergic to cats. A few months ago my wife and I came here to spend some time with cats because we don't have one anymore and my wife loves them. Instantly from the start we knew this was a great idea because all of the cats present were adorable, cuddly, playful and very sleepy. There were a lot of other people in the area with us so it was good to see that all of the cats were able to get some time with all of us, and not just have some cats getting all the praise. The only slightly negative thing I can say is that the drink menu was just ok. It's not bad but I don't think I would get anything from it again only because I spent a lot of time looking after the cats rather than drink my coffee I bought. Over all I can confidently say that coming here was worth the sneezing and itchiness that followed. Then again you should just come here regardless of how your allergies affect you.

Such a great experience! The lounge was super clean, and all of the cats were so sweet and well-behaved. I had the chance to meet the owner, and she was incredibly kind and welcoming. They're also amazing with kids! My 4-year-old absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave! I really love what they're doing here. Definitely go support them, spend some time with the kitties, and you might even end up bringing one home

Best place on planet lol no seriously best place to relax and unwind. If you are in market to adopt a cat, this is the most comprehensive experience. Ample space and kitties. Loved all of them and its hard to not adopt them. They also have bobas and coffees. Super clean and full of adorable cats. Staff is experienced and knowledgeable. Very friendly-You get to hold and pet cats as much as you want! Great for kids. They should have them in more cities.

Purr-fecto cat lounge is adorable. It's a great place for a coffee or boba while getting to love on the cutest cats around! First off, they take the cats well being very seriously here. That is awesome! It's super clean and does not smell like it's housing lots of cats. They only allow in a small group at a time so it's not overwhelming to the animals, and gives everyone plenty of time to love on the babies. Definitely check it out if you want some cuddles or are looking for a new fur baby!

Eh, I love all animals and was excited to hear about a cat lounge! So during my day trip to Austin, my friends and I booked a 30 minute session. The cats were adorable, of course, I just didn't enjoy the vibe of the workers. Super strict about picking up the cats, and about your time. I still had time left and they kept walking around looking at the color of my sticker to make sure I'm not over on my time. The good part is that you can adopt a cat from here but I can't see myself going back.

Purrfecto kitty Cafe is fantastic! What could be more fun than having kitties to play with for 70 minutes?! The store is kept impeccably clean and the kitty guardians are there to help you identify which kitties are most playful but they aren't overbearing at all, just the perfect amount of bearing! I can't wait to schedule another visit.

We love this cat lounge! We went twice because we were interested in these 2 adorable kitties. The staff is so friendly along with the owner! The owner took time to speak with us about the cats and answered all of our questions. We go tomorrow to adopt them. Can't wait for our new furry family members!

Lots of cute little furballs! Noticed that most of them seemed like they were a year old or younger. Staff are nice and the place is clean.

Karlyn K.

This was a wonderful visit. Staff clearly explained things to us. The kitties were amazing. They were as sweet as possible. The place smelled clean and well taken care of. There wasn't hair and dander that I would normally expect. We had a great time.

This fool was sleeping on the job but too cute to care.

This place is a great idea for adoptions. We received a warm welcome and were instantly excited to see the kittens. They offer a small menu of drinks for the visit. And then different options to chill while you check out the merchandise. Jk definitely recommend.

I booked a private event for my girlfriends with champagne and we had an incredible time loving on the kitties. This was my first time at a cat lounge and I thoroughly enjoyed the setup and decor, but mostly, I enjoyed knowing that this place has been a welcoming sanctuary to cats. I too am an animal lover with an overwhelming love for cats and I always support charities that want to help our voiceless, loveable fur babies. Thank you Lupita for a job well done and keep up the good work. What you are doing is amazing!

Fun for all ages!

We are cat people and we absolutely loved our experience. We'd gone to kitten adoption Yoga Event through Austin Pets Alice and came home with our own Pete the Kitten. This was a similar experience. $15 for 30 minutes was fun. (People should get longer if you actually leave with a cat, imho.) I didn't try the food or drinks because we were too busy herding cats. My daughter and her friend loved it. It was great to learn more about cats from the knowledgeable and friendly staff. And I love all the cat toys and longer options. It's very clean and well organized. It was fun to see a variety of kittens and cats including a Siamese. I will say that we went at 2:20 pm on a Sunday and the cats were done. They were having a Nap Out and at least 8 of them were snoozing. This meant that there were not enough cats left. Nowhere near one per person, for instance. I mean, I can see the cats' perspective. If I were a Purr-fecto Cat I might start a union and demand nap breaks as well. Overall the cats seemed very happy, and I would love to go back.

Cat yoga!
Catherine M.

What a purrfect way to channel your inner cat through fancy stretching (aka yoga). Lights were dimmed and relaxing music played as we did our best to maintain downward dog while the cute kitties pounced and played. Afterwards, we had an opportunity to interact with the kitties. If not already taken, most were available for adoption. Biggest challenge with this class was not going home with another cat!

If money is being exchanged beyond standard adoption fees, the public deserves clarity on where funds are going and whether shelters are aware. Donations should support care, vetting, and rescue efforts--not personal profit. The clinic was scheduled from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM. I arrived around 8:30, and as expected for a free event, the lines were long--but honestly, that's understandable when such valuable services are offered at no cost. One of the great things was that there was no limit to the number of animals you could bring. Once I got there, I was greeted by friendly staff who gave me paperwork to complete. A staff member kindly informed me that the process could take a while, which I appreciated. I ended up waiting in line for about four hours. If I had known ahead of time, I definitely would have brought snacks and water to help pass the time--but I was fine overall. Before they took my puppy back, they thoroughly explained the procedure and all the services included: the spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchipping, and preventative medications. Talk about saving money! They promised to take great care of him, and I felt reassured as they carried him back. Around 4:30 PM, I received a call to pick him up. He looked good at first, but as I drove down the highway, I noticed some bleeding. I turned around and rushed back to the clinic. The staff explained that male dogs can be a little more sensitive due to the number of blood vessels involved, and it wasn't unusual. They immediately took him back, cleaned him up, and made sure he was okay. One of the amazing volunteers even helped me clean the blood off my car and blankets--who knew peroxide worked so well? Once home, I noticed his microchip had started to migrate out. I texted the number they provided, and they told me to bring him back in for a check-up. I did just that two days later, and he was given a clean bill of health. They were quick, responsive, and made sure everything was taken care of. They also mentioned that they host these events frequently. If you're considering getting your pets spayed or neutered, I absolutely recommend bringing them here. The wait can be long, but the care and services are worth it. They treat your fur babies with love and compassion, and you leave knowing your pet got the attention they needed. Thank you to the entire team for your patience, hard work, and dedication. Look out for more free spay and neuter clinics it will save you tons
