We spent a Purrfecto Sunday afternoon of cappuccinos, cozy vibes and a room full of kittens :D ! A fantastic cafe for the ultimate serotonin boost! These resident cuties are adoptable if you have the time and a loving home for adoption :) ! The employees are very warm and friendly, and are open to answering any questions you have about any of the cats :) ! Like most cat cafes, there are really only a few drink choices. I didn't see any snack choices. So keep in mind that it is probably best to eat a full meal before coming, especially if you decide to do the longer 70-minute kitty play session instead of the shorter 30-minute session. There are also fun and quirky Kitty headbands, keychains and other merchandise you can purchase to support these adorable kitties :) ! You'll definitely leave this place feeling happier and relieved :) ! Cat therapy is definitely very therapeutic :D ! We came in on a walk-in basis, but had to wait a bit. I would recommend making an appointment ahead of time so you don't have to wait and so you don't risk coming in if certain time slots are completely booked up. Everything about this place is a yes. The kitties. The colors. The sereneness. Living in Massachusetts it makes me sad I can't come here often...or get a job here! You have to make a reservation online to see the cats, that part was easy but it took a moment when we actually got there. They lock the doors and I had to call to get let in but once we were in, it was great! So many kitties of all sizes and ages. A friend of mine talked me into going with her to Purr-fecoto Cat Lounge. She loves cats and I love coffee. I was lured in by the coffee aspect of the visit because I am allergic to cats. I can go about a couple of hours before my throat closes in and my eyes turn bloodshot red from an allergic reaction. Please note that they have drip coffee only. Their mission.."Purrfecto partners with Texas rescues to give adoptable cats an opportunity to find new homes. Just like humans, all cats have different purrsonalities, but they all need love. We have created the perfect environment for them to relax and meow around while they wait to discover their perfect match. We are hoping to reduce euthanasia in animal shelters and increase adoptions. We want to provide homeless cats with 9 lives full of love." There's a lot of rules to follow with the cats but they seemed chill overall. Most of the cats were sleeping. They have mainly just kittens. The facility was nice. I love how they are working to get cats a home. Unfortunatly we were late due to ACL traffic and the place was NOT accomidating at all. They said they were not able to allow us to stay the entire 30 mins as they were booked up for the next time slot. I can understand that it was not their fault I was late so I didnt make any fus while I was there.. However, once we left, we were walked out so the lady could go to lunch. Just say its our break time and we need to close for the hour. Dont come up with a lie when I can check online that I could have bought more time. This was my second time there. Keep this in mind while reading this review: I am allergic to cats. A few months ago my wife and I came here to spend some time with cats because we don't have one anymore and my wife loves them. Instantly from the start we knew this was a great idea because all of the cats present were adorable, cuddly, playful and very sleepy. There were a lot of other people in the area with us so it was good to see that all of the cats were able to get some time with all of us, and not just have some cats getting all the praise. The only slightly negative thing I can say is that the drink menu was just ok. It's not bad but I don't think I would get anything from it again only because I spent a lot of time looking after the cats rather than drink my coffee I bought. Over all I can confidently say that coming here was worth the sneezing and itchiness that followed. Then again you should just come here regardless of how your allergies affect you. read more

We are cat people and we absolutely loved our experience. We'd gone to kitten adoption Yoga Event through Austin Pets Alice and came home with our own Pete the Kitten. This was a similar experience. $15 for 30 minutes was fun. (People should get longer if you actually leave with a cat, imho.) I didn't try the food or drinks because we were too busy herding cats. My daughter and her friend loved it. It was great to learn more about cats from the knowledgeable and friendly staff. And I love all the cat toys and longer options. It's very clean and well organized. It was fun to see a variety of kittens and cats including a Siamese. I will say that we went at 2:20 pm on a Sunday and the cats were done. They were having a Nap Out and at least 8 of them were snoozing. This meant that there were not enough cats left. Nowhere near one per person, for instance. I mean, I can see the cats' perspective. If I were a Purr-fecto Cat I might start a union and demand nap breaks as well. Overall the cats seemed very happy, and I would love to go back. read more
