I attended a doggie birthday party at Work and Woof and it is such a lovely place! It was super spacious inside so it never felt crowded and my pup could have more personal space when he needed it. There was also a lot of parking and outdoor space. It was a great experience all around, I would definitely go back and make the drive from Houston for Work and Woof!

Love this daycare!! My pup is newly adopted and sending her to daycare has been helping with her separation anxiety. At first its a little overwhelming to see how many dogs they attend to, but they do such a good job and I love the updates on instagram. My dog is so tired and naps right when she gets home after hanging out and making friends all day. They are so reasonably priced too, if you are considering it highly recommend

I came here for an after hours event but I was able to see the play area set up indoors and outdoors. There's ample indoor space for your pet as well as a fenced area outside for dogs to run around. The staff is super welcoming and since I've been following this business page I've seen several fun events that they put on. It seems like a great place to take your dogs while also enjoying some community outreach.

My dogs ear was mauled on his third visit. I can only speak of my experience but I could not recommend this location based on that.

And, they often keep you updated on social media!

We love our friends at Work & Woof. I discovered the space soon after it opened and have been using it for co-working and doggie daycare ever since. No matter how long we're there, Miss Elsa comes home tired and happy.

Fellow dog enthusiast... Do you love your K-9 companion? Are your days filled with various duties & responsibilities that take away from you being able to smother your 4 legged fur pal in endless amounts of love and attention? Have you ever wanted to hire a film crew to catch all of your pups "awee" worthy moments on tape? If your answer was yes to these questions then look no further. Work and Woof has created a utopia for dogs of all sizes, shapes, and energy levels (looking at you huskies) to run around in circles and tug to their hearts content. I've been bringing my husky/ shepherd mix here for about 6 months and now couldn't imagine taking him somewhere I couldn't obsessively watch videos of him throughout the workday via IG stories. I'm so grateful for Jill and the Work & Woof team for the amount of love they put into their work. I'd suggest getting in while there's still room available!

Ask the Community - Work and Woof

Does a pup need to be evaluated before participating in the Play Day? Or is it just for daycare and co-working time?

Not for play day, evaluations are just for daycare!

They said I needed to pay the $25 and then start the membership next time for $50. Not a great policy. I paid $40 a month and was happy with the environment. I must admit on a surface level, this is the best dog park in Austin. Amenities include a completely astroturfed playground, large flatscreen TVs, and fans for each of the guests. Caution, the glamour hides ugly business practices. Come to find out, the women employees get paid less than the male employees. The owner consistently disrespects his employees by yelling at them. I've seen employees cry because of the way he treats them. My experience: Many dog parents throw birthday celebrations for their pet. We're all responsible and we clean up after ourselves. They're peaceful celebrations. I had the decency to ask for permission to throw my dog a birthday party. They told me they were going to charge me a $500 fee even though I wasn't asking for anything beyond permission. I purchased gifts to give out for all attendees. my generosity was met with malice. Mid-celebration the owner texted me a long, unfriendly message telling me to FaceTime them. My membership was then suspended, but I guess they decided to revoke it without communication. They continued to charge me for the membership, even though I no longer had access. They chose to lose my business of over one year, which amounts to almost $500, over a dog's birthday party, generous of all guests. Choose wisely where you spend your dollars. A membership here supports unethical practices.

However, when I arrived, no one was at the front, so I had to check in at the bar. I wonder how that process works for dogs that may not follow all the rules and are already in the park. The concept is quite similar to Yard Bar, right down to the mulch. The bar offers canned beer, wine, cider, sodas, and water. The restrooms are porta-potties, but the one I used was clean. The park features many large trees and plenty of shade. Three Rufferees were present at all times, and I thought the use of walkie-talkies was a nice touch. The front desk informs the Rufferees of the dogs' names, which is quite cute. I do wish the bar provided water for humans; instead, you have to purchase a can of Liquid Death. There was ample parking available. Overall, it was a decent experience, and we plan to return when we have more time to make the drive.

I wasn't personally looking for a more busy environment at the time, but just an observation for a Thursday around 5-6pm. I borrowed their restroom to do an outfit change, then ordered a drink because I felt bad taking up space while waiting for another nearby business to open where my event was being hosted. It was fun to watch the staff and patrons laugh together and see "neighborhood camaraderie". One of the staff was celebrating a birthday so I joined in on the singing to him! Also, just to note that there's only a combo "human and dog" entrance, I was trying to locate a solo "human" entrance but I don't think there is one. There are a bunch of large, shady trees surrounded by mulch as well as grassy areas, especially up the somewhat steep hill and over to the right side of the park. There's a little fenced off nook in part of the park where little dogs could presumably play if someone took a weed eater to it, but I'm told the area is actually fenced off because it floods with brackish water when it rains. There's a poop bag dispensing station near the entrance of the park, but apparently there are never bags in it. I only gave the park four stars, because the lowest part of the park floods with even the slightest bit of rain (by design), though I haven't seen that for myself yet. Also, there's one part of the fence on the far right hand side of the park that's broken, but there's a big rock keeping it in place until the city comes to fix it.
