Nicole and her team are AMAZING! Nicole was referred to me by a friend of mine (so, word-of-mouth) when we were in a pickle to get care to look after our 2 fur-babies while we went out of town the week of Thanksgiving. With not much notice, Nicole helped us out and had us covered for when we needed pet sitting. She asked all of the right questions, sent us photos every day of our babies (who we missed the entire time) and let us know (because we asked) when they were being cared for. I cannot tell you how much comfort it brought us to know that people like Nicole and her team were taking care of things while we took a whirlwind trip to get away on a Holiday week. I always say-you can't put a price tag on peace of mind but it's even better when that price tag is affordable and not breaking the bank for quality care! The price is extremely reasonable for the quality of care you get here. I'll never use anyone else and I can't recommend them enough! Seriously. Look no further! read more

We are those people who treat and love their dog like you would a family member. We love our 3 year old Maltipoo, Mufasa. Since he was little Mufasa has always had the same dog nanny to walk and play with him every weekday afternoon. My husband and I work long hours out of the house and believe allowing an animal to stay alone is unhealthy emotionally and physically for them. When we relocated from North Austin to South Austin, which is like moving to another city in most Austinities minds, we left behind Mufasa's dog nanny. THREE pet sitters later, all of who are on YELP, we found Capcity Pet Sitting. Capcity Pet Sitting has been a blessing to my peace of mind. I can tell when a person doesn't have the time to really put into caring for a dog and when a company is just in it for the transactional benefit. Will and Claire ENJOY taking care of our Mufasa and it shows in his attitude at the end of the day. Will and Claire always keep me updated on how the day went and any new behaviors I need to be aware of or keep an eye on. Mufasa is always played out by the time we get home and I know he's enjoyed his visit with Will and Claire. I hope we have the privilege of working with Capcity Pet Sitting for many years to come. I can't express enough how much we highly recommend them. Stephanie read more

We have been using Cap City for the last 2 years now and wouldn't ever consider another option. Nicole is extremely responsible with our home and dogs and most importantly our dogs always look forward to her stay. We have one little girl that is a bit difficult with people and this has been no difficulty for Nicole, she was gentle and patient and in time our little girl came around to trusting her and now looks forward to their dog walks. ( this was a chihuahua that was kicked out of several boarding facilities). I highly recommend Nicole and Cap City services! read more

Nicole and her crew have been taking care of our fur babies for years. They go above and beyond with communicating how things are, whether walking our dog or checking on pets while we are away. Can't recommend them enough. Excellent and reliable service! read more

So I was taking care of my dads dog for the week while he was out of town, and since I work from home with only minimal need to leave the house, I was able to hang out and watch her all day and volunteered. She (the dog) had gotten attacked by another dog at a daycare/boarding place a few months earlier, so that was kind of a sore spot in terms of options. Well, occasionally things come up for me with work and I ended up getting an important meeting I had been trying for in San Antonio, which along with a few other errands would take up a full 8 hour day, a period of time for which I couldn't leave her in her crate for. After unsuccessfully bribing any of my friends to help out and a boarding situation out of the question, someone suggested calling a "pet sitter". After a couple of unanswered calls and messages to other businesses I called Capcity and an actual person answered my call and was able to troubleshoot my problem. Brilliant! We worked out a time so Will, one of the owners, could come by and meet the dog, and frankly I was interested in meeting anyone who would be coming over since I felt weird about a stranger coming over while I was gone. After meeting Will those reservations were completely gone. He was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly and Doodles really seemed to like him, although she loves everybody....but still, he seemed to have a way with animals. He waived an interview fee since he said he was already in the area, we went over some options on what might work best and he confirmed his schedule on what he could do timeline wise that day, and that was it. We made all the arrangements on the spot, he followed up with me to confirm everything the day before. I felt secure leaving that day but he even sent me a text update during the day with a picture of a happy dog which was a nice touch. Always nice to meet good, honest people who provide great service, and the price was beyond reasonable. read more

Nicole is so wonderful. We went on a 10 day trip and she came twice a day. We have multiple pets and she was wonderful. Would send texts and photos twice a day. Could not have made the trip without her. Very good and we had peace of mind. She even checked the mail and water the plants. Very good and professional. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The best service ever!! read more

I usually get anxious when I go out of town and leave my furbabies behind, but leaving them in the care of Will and Claire definitely puts my mind at ease! Whenever I go out of town, I have them stop in once or twice a day to care for my cats. While I'm away, they email me every few days to let me know how my little dudes are doing. Sometimes they send pictures too, which is always fun :) They charge $17/visit for cat care, but the price goes down a bit if you buy a package. Like most petsitters, there's a reasonable additional fee for visits on major holidays. I definitely recommended Capcity Pets if you're looking for a reliable petsitting service with reasonable rates! read more

Claire is wonderful. She is reliable and I know my kitties are in good hands while I'm gone. One of my cats needs to take medication daily which she is not cooperative about, but Claire is trained and way better at administering it than I ever could be. Cap City really takes the stress out of worrying about what to do with my cats while I'm gone and my cats are so happy to get to stay home and not be boarded. I highly recommend Claire and Cap City. read more

Will and Claire are the very best pet sitters we've ever had the privilege to have watch over our beloved kitties. We travel extensively, and have often asked neighbors and friends to watch over our cats while we are away. Then one of our cats became ill, and we thought it best not to saddle a friend with that sort of burden- having to administer 5 meds twice a day. So we asked around, someone recommended Cap City Pet Sitting, and we honestly could not be happier! They have been completely respectful, gentle, yet firm, always on time, thorough, affordable, and the list of positive adjectives could just go on and on here. We highly recommend Cap City Pet Sitters if you need someone you can trust to lovingly and carefully watch over your pals while you are away. read more

Capcity Pet Sitting - Frankie and Sydney - the girls - Pet Sitting Near Me

I really wanted Capcity to be my new pet sitting service (my previous sitter moved to Houston), but my first and only experience with them wasn't that great. I have 6 cats with zero health issues, so it wasn't a complicated job. We keep two cats upstairs and 4 downstairs. The initial in-home meeting was fine, but I was surprised that Will and Claire seemed to not be familiar with the automatic water fountain and the Feline Pine sifter litter box. I demonstrated how to use these. We were out of town for 10 days, but had easy email, phone, and text access. I had to prompt the sitters to send me updates; each update was that everything was fine. When we got home, we immediately noticed that it was very hot upstairs. The temperature was ~95F. My two upstairs cats, including my 17-year old kitty, were on lying on the bathroom floor and very lethargic. It turns out that the air conditioner had been broken for several days. I contacted Will to ask if they noticed it was very hot upstairs. He said they noticed that it was 'warm' but thought that I wanted it that way. I need a sitter who is proactive and doesn't assume that I want my elderly cat to spend days keeping cool on a bathroom floor. Why not just email/call/text me and ask? In addition, it was obvious that the litter boxes hadn't been changed a single time in 10 days. It looked like they scooped the poop but didn't sift out the urine-soaked sawdust (I demonstrated how to do this in the initial visit). As a result, the sawdust was like a brick in the bottom of the box and smelled horrible. Finally, automatic water fountain was completely empty. I haven't discussed these issues w/ Will and Claire because somebody who thinks ~95F is simply 'warm', doesn't clean a litter box once in 10 days, lets the water go empty, and doesn't communicate any problems despite ample opportunity is clueless. I have zero intention of hiring them again and don't want any restitution. I have simply described the facts, you can make your own decision. read more

We have two dogs, a neurotic corgi who likes no one and a crazy Wheaten Terrier puppy who can be quite the handful! In the past, we had a hard time boarding the corgi because of his depression once we left him. However, he loves staying with Claire and Will. They provide a safe and loving home for them to play in. Our dogs love their back yard and really love their dog Chimi (Our Wheaten likes to get down with him). We are extremely over protective of our dogs, they are after all, our children. And we are 100% comfortable leaving them with Claire and Will. They love on and treat our dogs as their own. read more

My husband and I both travel - a lot - and we needed someone with great communication skills (to let us know what's happening when we're out of town), reasonable prices and a passion for taking care of animals! This is exactly what we found with Will and Claire. We're moving to Nashville and can only hope to find someone as amazing! I've never once worried about our Molly (the cutest Pomeranian of life) when we're on trips. read more

CapCity is great! They've watched my cat every time I've gone on vacation in the past three years. They're very responsive and reliable, and they've always taken great care of my cat. Nicole has been my cat's primary sitter over the past couple of years, and she's wonderful. She texts me with frequent, detailed updates, often including super cute photos or videos. I get the impression that she really loves and cares about cats. Last year, my cat got sick with a rare, life-threatening illness, and she had two major surgeries. I had a vacation planned six weeks after the second surgery, and I was worried about getting proper care for her while I was away. CapCity was great as usual! They are experienced at working with special-needs pets. They gave her medicine and an inhaler every day, sent frequent updates, and all was well. I felt very comfortable leaving her in their care. read more

Nicole was very communicative, friendly and proactive with us and our pets. We came home to a very happy and anxiety free crew! Our cat usually shows signs of distress upon us returning from a trip but this time he was cool as a cucumber. I don't see how our experience could have been better. We will definitely use her again in the future. Thank you Nicole! read more

Capcity Pet Sitting took care of my cat for two weeks in May and they were fantastic. Claire came over before I left and took down notes about food, water, the litter, etc. and then Nicole came in and checked on my cat. I got text message updates about my cat every time Nicole came over, which was great and a huge relief, and often got pictures as well. They provided an extremely reliable, excellent service and I would highly recommend it. They also have reasonable prices that are on their website and very straight forward. read more

I'm so glad we chose to go with CapCity during our last trip! We contacted them at the beginning of December and thankfully they were still available over the Christmas holidays. They were immediately responsive and came by to meet our cat. We have a 17 yr old cat who has her very particular routine and, quite honestly, we are pretty particular as well. Will and Claire were patient and listened to all of our requests. Also, we loved the updates that they sent us - emails and texts with photos. And when Claire came by to return the key, our cat ran to door, so we know she was happy. We will definitely use them again when we travel. read more

Will and Claire are phenomenal. They accommodated our very last-minute request to have someone check in on our cat while we went out of town for a long weekend. We were kept updated with pictures of our little man so that we could enjoy our trip without worrying about him. Their rates are very reasonable as well. I highly recommend them! read more

Our experience with Will and Claire was great. They sent us photos of our cats, daily updates, and kept us informed during our weeklong trip to Colorado. Capcity Pet Savers were amazing. I had two conferences out of town back to back, and at the last minute I figured out that I needed to make alternate arrangements to care for my two dogs, who are my loves. Will and Claire were able to book me right away, and when I met them I was instantly at ease with them. You could tell they are both animal lovers, and the fact that Claire already works for a veterinarian's office made me confident that my little angels would be safe with them. Will and Claire sent me updates and photos, so I never had to worry. And then when I was stranded in an airport in Baltimore on the Friday night that I was to return due to weather, Will and Claire added an unscheduled trip back over - on a Friday night last minute - to take my babies out again. What would I have done otherwise?!!! They are awesome. Cannot recommend highly enough! read more

Will and Claire saved my sanity, and my dog. I had an emergency come up and they were so compassionate, with me and my dog. They are very responsive and timely in their communications. Their care of my dog was exemplary; they texted me photos of her and described how she was reacting to them. They interacted with her enough to be able to describe my dog's personality. They were responsible, reliable, dependable, competent, professional and compassionate. I knew that my dog was being cared for and how she was responding to that care. What more could you ask for? When I need a pet sitter again I will be calling Will and Claire. read more

Outstanding. Responsible. Reliable. Honest. Clearly loves animals. We've hired CapCity several times to take care of our three kitty kids. Each time we come home, all the food/water bowls are in order, the sand is as tidy as can be and the cats are relaxed and happy. We also appreciate that they do overnight stays...the cats really enjoy their slumber parties. CapCity is highly recommended. read more

There's only one way to describe Capcity Pet Sitting: "Life Savers." Over the past year or so, as a result of my job, I have been traveling way more than I would like to, especially with two cats at home. Luckily for me, the folks at Capcity always put my mind at ease. Everyone involved is extremely flexible, easy to communicate with, and seem to really, truly care about my cats. Every day they come to check in on the cats, they send a text message with pictures and updates on how they are doing. They definitely get to know each pet's personality and know exactly how much attention they'll want and need. They are also extremely flexible and helpful with feeding, litter changes, etc. It's really an all-inclusive deal for an incredibly fair price, especially if you buy their "packages" of visits and bank your paid visits for the future, which you will want to since you're definitely going to want them to come back and take care of your pets every time you are out of town. I cannot recommend these folks enough to anyone looking for a reliable, friendly and fair local company to make sure your pets are safe and happy while you are away. read more

My husband and I are new to Austin, and had not yet needed a pet sitter for our cat, Sierra, so I hadn't prepared when my husband's Grandmother passed away unexpectedly. We were in a pinch to quickly find a trusted business or individual who could help us out. I found Capcity Pets on PetSitUSA.com, and Will returned my call immediately. Not only was it reassuring to have someone so personable and flexible on the other end of the line during that difficult time, but he is such a professional, and is very experienced with the ins and outs of pet sitting. Will came over to our apartment to meet Sierra that afternoon (so flexible!). While Sierra is a pretty shy kitty, it didn't throw him for a loop in the slightest. He seemed very confident in caring for her, whether she was going to be friendly with him or not, which took a load off my shoulders! He asked good questions about her play and detailed feeding instructions. We felt very comfortable having them in our home and letting them take care of Sierra. While we were away he texted us pictures of her and told us how she was doing. I immediately booked them for a week vacation we are taking in October upon my return. As well, I recently needed to board Sierra for a day, so of course I called my newest resource, Capcity Pets to see who they recommended! I'd highly recommend them to anyone seeking trustworthy, quality pet sitters. read more

Wonderful, courteous, dependable. Claire and Will do a consistently fantastic job of taking care of our pets. This is our second review for CapCity as Will and Claire have been taking care of our cat, Bella for 5+ years. We continue to appreciate them and completely trust them in our home and how they care for Bella. Whenever we have planned vacations or want to take a spontaneous weekend trip, we know we can rely on CapCity to quickly respond to our requests. We also want to give a special shout-out to their employee, Nicole, who has been Bella's main sitter for over a year now. She sends very detailed updates and pictures immediately after each visit, so we never have to worry about how Bella is doing. We can tell that Nicole really interacts with and cares for Bella (e.g. hiding treats around the house)! Thank you for all you do, Nicole! read more

I can't thank Will and Claire enough for the attentive care they provided to my kitty when I had to leave town on a scheduled trip the day after bringing her home from the emergency vet, three days after she was hit by a car. I needed pet sitters with sensitivity to cat behavior who could spend time monitoring and observing her behavior to make sure she was improving, to administer pain meds and antibiotics three times a day, and well as take her to the vet for daily testing to monitor her blood levels. Amazingly, I was able to find them the day before I left on a holiday weekend and they were able to come that same night to meet me. They made a great team and my kitty was never alone for very long. They kept a written log of her behavior, eating frequency, medication administration, and litter box habits and sent me daily text updates as well as consulted with the vet on my behalf. I don't think my kitty would have improved any faster had I stayed home to care for her! Both Claire and Will impressed me with their knowledge and ability to perceive animal behavior and body language. Will and Claire also managed the needs of my other cats and dogs while here to make sure everyone was watered, let in or out and didn't overheat in the hot weather. In short, I'd highly recommend them to anyone seeking trustworthy, quality pet sitters. Since they work together as a team, it's like having two pet sitters backing each other up no matter how busy their day. read more

I'm not a crazy cat person, but I needed someone to look after my cat while my wife and I were away for about a week; Nothing too special, mind you, just making sure she had food, water, and a clean box every other day. I am relatively new to Austin and had previously boarded my dog Payton at a place near my then-apt.. I was mostly satisfied there. However, Thanksgiving snuck up on me and by the time I called there to make arrangements for my out-of-town trip; they were fully-booked, as was every other dog-boarding place in or near Austin. I sorted Yelp by rating and began calling every place on the list with a good rating. At this point, I didn't care about how far it was from me. That's how I found Claire and Will of Capcity Pets. Kismet led me to the vet Claire works for and while the vet didn't have any boarding openings, Claire very nicely and professionally told me about her (and Will's) business and invited me to check out their website. She was totally no pressure about it. I checked them out, and while it was more expensive to have my girl stay at their home with them, I was out of options. I called Claire back and made arrangements for a 7 day stay at their home. Upon meeting them, I was immediately comfortable. They know animals and took time to get to know me a bit, ask all the right questions, and allow my Payton to get to know them, their house and yard, and their delightful own dog(s); who became fast friends with my girl. As others have noted, I received several texts, pictures and updates during my trip, which put me at great ease. I had another, longer trip coming up over Christmas. Given that Payton came home from Capcity Pets so tired out from her play, and clearly well-taken care of; I decided to book Claire and Will for my Christmas trip as well. I had intended to be gone 11 days. The day before my return, I ended up in the hospital with emergency surgery, which kept me out of town for another 10 days unexpectedly. I immediately texted Claire and Will and they assured me that Payton was welcome to stay and would be just fine with them and they had the availability to keep her until my return. What a tremendous relief!! They even contacted me later that week to inquire about what kind of food Payton ate since the amount I had packed was running out. They also asked if she were due for any preventive flea or heartworm treatment. It's their thoughfullness and caring and genuine respect for an love of animals that sets them apart. Upon my return, they had adjusted my bill for me because of the weird circumstances. It's not just for that reason though that they have found a client for as long as I am in Austin. Truly, my girl was treated like family by them and I can no longer imagine having her crated at a boarder for any length of time. These are fantastic, genuine people who treat your pets like their own. I just hope they don't get too busy for me!!! I'm planning a 3 week trip abroad later this year and there is no where else that I (or Payton) want her to stay!! Thanks Claire and Will. I am so lucky to have found you!!! read more
