While my dog loves people, she tends to avoid other dogs due to anxiety, which can lead to her biting them. I find it unreasonable for the owner to require my dog to participate in group play, as she stated. She is not familiar with the temperament of Australian Cattle Dogs. In the past, other boarding facilities have accommodated my request to keep my dog separated from the other dogs, but Mary Jane was unwilling to meet my dog's needs. Mary Jane did not provide me with enough time to find another boarding facility after she declined my request one day before the scheduled daycare session. The receptionist informed me that it was available, but MJ said it was full. Additionally, I asked her to remove my account, and she texted me that she would do so shortly. However, when I checked a few hours later, I found that the account still existed. I texted her, and I still haven't gotten her reply.

When Clifford was returned, he had been shaven. Golden Retrievers are a double-coated breed which means that they should not be shaved for any reason as the undercoat functions to naturally regulate temperature and protect them from the sun. This has exposed my dog to harmful UV rays which could put him at a higher risk for cancer. Extremely unprofessional choice that was marketed as a cut which would "cool him off" for the summer. Please educate your groomers.

Despite my enthusiasm, the receptionist seemed disinterested, along with the 5 other workers at the front desk. I was asked about my dog's breed and they informed me they don't accept "bully breeds" though they reluctantly offered to meet him. It seemed they were doing me a favor rather than genuinely welcoming my pet. As we talked further, it became evident that their focus was primarily on boarding, with daycare almost an afterthought. They even mentioned the possibility of closing daycare on random days if they were too full, leaving me uncertain about their reliability. Throughout the interaction, I couldn't shake the feeling that they really could care less about having my dog there. It was disheartening to think that my dog was being judged primarily on his breed. In the end, I left feeling disappointed and frustrated. I'm a first-time dog mom, who really wants the best for her pup, and it definitely wasn't here. They get stressed out and I get cranky about driving and waiting for them. I found Deb's website and decided to try the service. The price was on par with what I would pay at my normal groomer but the service and time savings was amazing. Deb showed up on time. She talked with me briefly and then gave each dog a bath, nails (dremmel) and grooming all from her cute van in my driveway. Each dog was shiny clean, happy and done within an hour, This was a wonderful experience for me and the dogs. Thank you Deb for doing a great job and offering such a great service.
