Now that we live here our precious ones have been there at least twice and each time they come home played out, happy, and so clean! This last week has been difficult for our family as we lost an important member of us; Firehouse has been there without question to take our loves, and my mother - in - laws loves, on a whim and extend their stays as long as we have requested with really no notice at all. They have been such a great support and to know our pets are loved like they're at home and as safe as the bank notes in Fort Knox gives me great ease each time I drop them off. My pup is an anxious guy and most of the time he comes back to me relaxed and exhausted. The last time he did seem very anxious when I picked him up, and he had tummy problems for a few days after, so not sure if he had as great an experience the last time. I called to see if it's normal since he'd been several times before and had never come home sick. They said just keep an eye on him and weren't very concerned. The staff is always welcoming and very kind. There are a couple of staff that have seemed a little unenthusiastic but I think maybe it just wasn't their best day. Overall, it's a great service and I'm sure we will be back.

Silas would not want to go on walks and would hide behind our legs when approached by strangers. Justin trained Silas over a 4 week period on obedience and confidence building, including commands such as sit, lay down, stay, and heel. Through his training we saw a complete 180 in Silas's confidence level and ability to follow basic commands. On the last day of training, Justin even brought out some of his own dogs and Silas instantly began playing with them. I can't say enough good things about Justin's methods of training.

I brought my 8 month old puppy to training there and a couple play days in preparation for boarding. I then decided to board her over Easter for a last-minute trip instead of leaving her home with my grown son. I booked her boarding on April 3rd for my trip starting on April 14th. My son was very upset about not being able to keep her so on April 10th while she was at a play day, I explained the situation to the kennel and asked if I could just put my $180 boarding deposit towards future play days and cancel the boarding as keeping my son happy was more important to me than boarding my puppy. Well, it turns out that April 5 was the deadline for cancellation. I know for a fact they were not full as I was able to choose her boarding area. The deadline was literally two days after I confirmed and paid the $180 deposit for her boarding, yet I don't remember anyone telling me about the deadline to cancel being two days later. It blows me away that with my unique circumstances, they refused to put my $180 towards future play days as I would've been bringing her there 2 to 3 times a month at $30 a day not to mention the training sessions I would have been booking. I booked it two days before the supposed deadline and a week later, I had to change my mind due to family issues. I was not asking for my money back. I just wanted to be able to use it somewhere else. Lastly please be aware that you are charged for all play days and training sessions when you book the date instead of the day of service. This doesn't seem right. They already have your credit card on file so there's no need to charge you ahead of time. That should be done after the training or play days are completed.

The staff continued to work with her, to socialize with her, now they are able to bathe her and clip her nails. Yesterday, we had a birthday party at the house... Approx 15 adults and maybe 10 kids or so. Morgan did amazing! I was worried and kept her on a leash/harness for a bit, but she did just fine without it. I let her meet people as they game in, she followed Quinn's lead and mostly sat near me in-between people; but she let people come in and out without growling or barking, and accepted treats with paw shakes. I have always been worried about having ppl over -- The first couple times it went poorly enough that I have since avoided it -- so this was nothing short of amazing. I am thankful Audra's team did not give up on us and have helped us get to this point.
