Do NOT leave your dog here…read more First of all, two days before my reservation, I get an email from Amelia saying that she had seen my reservation request & fortunately for me, they had a last minute cancellation. I told her I had already spoken to and confirmed with 2 other people that I had a reservation for my dog to stay for a few days. I picked up my dog & he was so high energy (unusual for him, unless he hasn't gotten exercise in days). He was super hungry when I got him home, & he as well as the bed I asked to leave with him were COVERED in urine! He & the bed were both freshly clean before I dropped him off (just I felt so bad I left him there. Never again!

You can tell that the employees really love our dogs!!! They are so kind and patient!!! Their customer service skills always make my day because they take their time in assessing questions, concerns, and needs for our babies! I love that this facility is both indoors and outdoors. I'm very picky with who I trust with leaving my dog with she's my baby!! These people are truly some of the best people I've ever met!! My sweet Abigail loves coming and always whines with excitement when we pull up. A lot of the times she doesn't even want to go back home with me!! I could not recommend this place more. From the extremely courteous and kind owners, to the loving and hard working employees, to the perfect space of scenery with large yards to run in, and trails to explore. I'm so happy I decided to give this amazing place a chance!

I can't say enough good things about Companion Vet Hospital. I recently brought in my Rhode Island…read moreRed chicken who had gotten very sick, and they saved her life with the treatment plan they created for her. I previously was at another vet closer to my home and unfortunately, that clinic seemed limited in their care for poultry and didn't feel willing to explore different treatment options to help her. I'm so happy I didn't give up and I found this place to bring her. Companion Vet Hospital was the complete opposite experience. From the moment we arrived, they were compassionate, curious, and genuinely committed to helping my chicken. They took the time to evaluate her thoroughly and were open to trying different approaches, which made me feel like she was truly being given a chance. It's such a relief to find a vet that treats all animals with the same level of care and respect. I'll absolutely be bringing all of my chickens here moving forward. Highly recommend to anyone with poultry or "non-traditional" pets!

My dog and best friend, who was so darn tough, started to cry at night and I knew something was…read morewrong. He was a patient of Companion Animal Hospital for about two years (when we moved to Austin). They used multiple testing equipment while searching for a diagnosis. Test after test proved nothing and I was heartbroken and so worried about my baby. When I told a friend what we were going through, she said, "This sounds like hemangio-sarcoma (blood cancer)!" Her friend's dog apparently had the same symptoms, so she recognized them. Now, how did a veterinary clinic NOT recognize these symptoms?? Instead, Companion Animal Hospital charged me thousands of dollars with so much prodding, and poking and charges, but they never once mentioned or suggested a sonogram. Sonograms are able to provide the answer quickly, efficiently, and for significantly less money. Isn't that ironic? I believe the veterinarians at this hospital allowed my dog to continue suffering, so that they could make thousands of dollars off of several tests because they knew they found someone who would do anything to help her dog. This is not just greedy, but it's downright cruel. I would never recommend allowing these people anywhere near an animal that you care for.

Well, I can't believe I haven't written a review yet - but better late than never! My dog, Jet, has…read morebeen coming to Bark & Zoom for 7 years, practically since they opened, and we couldn't be happier. There are so many positives to highlight. First, I really appreciate the rotating play and rest schedule that Taurus/Bark & Zoom uses, which differs from other facilities in the area. It's been a fantastic fit for Jet, especially when he was younger and would be tired but had a bit of FOMO when other dogs were playing and wouldn't know when to rest. At other facilities without this structure, he'd end up overtired and overstimulated from hours of endless play with 25 other dogs and poor trainer/dog ratios leaving minimal staff supervision. Bark & Zoom's approach (focus on temperament and smaller groups) has been a much better fit and Jet has thrived in this environment comparatively. The staff here has always been wonderful and so loving toward Jet as well. Years ago, there was a team gathering at Yardbar where Jet ran right up to the staff, thrilled to see them, and they immediately recognized and showered him with affection. Interactions like this validate the level of positive care he receives across several services including board-and-train, daycare, or boarding. Aside from great care, the convenience of their 24-hour model right by the airport is seriously unbeatable. As someone in the aviation industry, the flexibility to drop off and pick up at unconventional hours has been a lifesaver. I'm so grateful to Bark & Zoom for accommodating my unpredictable schedule time and time again throughout all of these years. This past year has been challenging as Jet battles lymphoma. He's experienced multiple remissions and relapses, and as he slows down and needs more care, the staff has been wonderfully supportive, bringing comfort to me on days when I can't be with him. There are SO many wonderful people here, but I'd like to give a special shoutout to Jess and Mackenzie. They've known Jet since before their well-deserved promotions and have always treated him like family. I appreciate y'all (and everyone) so much!

Lotus Canine is amazing! I can't say enough good things about Jen and her services…read more I've been working with Lotus, which is run by Jen, for about two months and started because my schedule changed at work and I was no longer able to let my dogs out at lunch. Jen came highly recommended by a close friend who knew Jen from her work with a local shelter. What I signed up for was a great dog walker. What I got was that and so much more! My dogs are a bit neurotic, I must admit. They dislike bikes, squirrels, cats and other dogs. I was a nervous have someone else walk them but I was very reassured by Jen's experience with difficult dogs. She met with me and met my pups beforehand as well to make sure it was a good fit. To say hiring Jen and Lotus to help me with my dogs was one of the best things I ever did for them may sound like an exaggeration, but it is not. They are so happy when I get home and are much, much better on leash now and are less reactive on walks. Jen also basically crate trained one of my dogs, who previously hated his crate! Now I catch him hanging out in there on his own. I can't recommend Jen enough. What you get with her services is not only dog walking but someone who truly cares about your pups. Plus her billing is easy and straightforward. I even get photos of my dogs from each visit :) In short, my dogs are more happy at the end of the day because of her!
