Our boy Mo aka Molty aka Moshi has been coming to Walk ATX since 2022. As many of you, our doggo is our family and we want only the best of the best for him. It is difficult to find a doggy boarding/day care that provides such well rounded, holistic approach to pet care. We have used Walk ATX for boarding, day camp with pick up and drop off included, and for in home check ins with walks. As well as their add-ons like baths and fun photoshoots. Mo is a party animal - we are constantly training, working with him and we fill all of his needs. Yet he is an energetic, happy 2.5yo rescue from Austin Pets Alive. He is a foster win actually. He's always soooo excited when he realizes he's about to get dropped off at Walk ATX and he's welcomed with big smiles and a huge "Hi Mo!!!!!" by the passionate and hard working staff. Walk ATX does pack walks, outdoor playtime in their yard with staff assigned to different groups of dogs. I love that there's constant supervision and a structured day. Including rest/down time, which is just as important as to not overstimulate the doggos. It seems as if Walk ATX has only gotten better over the years. They've incorporated training, special add-ons, and cool adventures. Last time Mo stayed with them while we were in Costa Rica, Britton and the team were super attentive (Mo was on limited activity for the first few days per our vet), and even called to give an update, in addition to their daily updates via email and on their app "Time to Pet". I know Mo is cared for and looked after by a group of caring animal lovers. read more

Like others I live off of reviews so giving you guys the raw version for all my over protective pet parents like myself. This review is only based off of my experience/ first impressions and this business may work amazingly for your dog! Once I found Walk ATX it took me a while to get in contact with someone, called a couple times, left a voicemail, sent a couple emails -to no avail! Sent a dm on insta as a last resort and finally got in contact with someone! Yay! Erika helped me set up my account and went over daycare. Dropped my pup off for his first day! First impressions matter to me and as someone who is nervous I would have loved to see them greet my dog. Instead the woman at the front ( not sure her name - mullet - immediately went into a quick " take off the leash. What's his name? You'll get an update at 11" And then I watched her usher him straight to the backyard. No saying hi to the dog, no convo with me, no easing his nerves, no questions about him, no petting him, no introductions, nothing. I didn't love that, especially since it was our first time and it made me much more nervous to drop him off there. Around 11:00 I started to look for updates, none. Tried to call 3 times, no answer. Again this is his first day so not hearing anything on how he was doing and getting no photos - nerves then rose to an all time high. People are allowed to have bad days so will update this after a few more times. Just know the first day is not as informative or warm may not be as warm as you'd expect. read more

Literally the best!! In the pictures - the dogs and puppies are on a walk! I think it's crazy one person can control all of these pups. Impressive! My puppy is always so excited to go, so I'm happy to keep bringing him. My puppy also has patellar luxation/knee dislocation so I was grateful after we told them, they made sure to pace his walks and make sure he was resting his leg. They are a thoughtful crew at Walk ATX. I will continue to support them. read more

At drop off, April didn't want her to leave! 4 paws and 1 wagging tail for this doggie day care. read more

Walk ATX is an amazing place to bring your pups. We've been taking our 3 dogs there for over 4 years and they LOVE IT! They get so excited every time we dive up to walk atx. They make sure that all the pups are taken care of and offer to walk, wash, trim their nails, and so much more. The team sends daily updates and photos of the pups and are quick to respond. If you're looking for a trustworthy place to take your pups I would highly recommend Walk Atx! read more

Our pup has such a great time here! He's always excited to go back which is a great sign. They keep you updated and are quick to communicate. The app is super helpful and user friendly! We've sent our pup here for day camp, boarding, and a bath. Couldn't be happier! read more

I have been a customer of Walk! ATX since I got my dog 2 years ago. I've utilized their dog walking services, daycare, overnight boarding, and grooming services. I've experienced nothing but fast, friendly, and impeccable customer service from them. They do a great job of communicating quickly and sending me lots of updates, including countless adorable pics of my dog! I feel confident that they are taking great care of my dog and I really trust them. They are local, fairly priced, and it's clear they are passionate about what they do... Compared to other dog walking/daycare services around, it is a no brainer. I love this business.... HIGHLY recommend! read more

Stop! Do not look any further! This was the best decision I made when getting a puppy. I could not be a dog owner if I didn't have the WalkATX village to help me! I work at a hospital and am frequently pulled to cover long shifts at the last minute. WalkATX is so accommodating and flexible. Every person is so professional and good at what they do. Let me break it down: Daily walks: They use a lock box with a code to let themselves in and send you picture updates and descriptions of the activity every day and immediately after the walk. Every person we worked with is amazing with my dog, Sevro. Will help train. I have a ring camera so I know when they come and go. They never skimp on time. Boarding: have use them for boarding several times. They send regular updates. Dogs are outside and getting supervised play for much of the day so I don't worry about him being 'locked up'. Dogs also go on group adventures. The headquarters are in a neighborhood, but the house is redone to be a dog heaven. Logistics: all requests are through a super easy portal. They are VERY responsive and usually approve requests within a few hours. I'm terrible at requesting on time and they even accommodate same day requests. If they can't approve it, they will text me directly- often asking if another time will work for me, so they can try and make it work. They also answer calls and texts right away with any question or concern. Bus rides to and from daycare make it so easy! They will pick him up, drop him off, and put him up all while I'm at work. You can even book a bus ride to anywhere, so they could transport the dog to a groomer and back etc. Safety: never had any incident with my dog. All play is supervised and they know when to break up rough play. I have never once felt uncomfortable with their dog walkers in my home when I'm not there. You meet your primary dog walker at the initial consult so you do get to form a relationship with them. Above and beyond: every walker REALLY cares about your pets. their walkers have taken in packages, put away groceries, and always restore my dog's whole setup to how we leave it. They have come to let him out super late at night when I had to work overnight. They have accommodated last minute boarding requests when I'm forced to travel. They take Sevro for adventures occasionally- to the stream or a park- not just a neighborhood walk. If he comes back from a walk with a ton of energy, they know to take him out back and play fetch for a bit to tire him out. Thank you so much WalkATX! read more

Walk! ATX Pet Care - Example of the 'recap' they send you after a session - Dog Walkers Near Me - Austin, Texas

Where do I even start? This company goes above and beyond at every opportunity, and it shines through everything they do. From first contact the staff was super helpful and kind, knowledgable, and put me at ease. I dropped off my 4 month old frenchie and she had the BEST TIME EVER playing. She's been back a few times since then, and every time I get sent the cutest pictures and videos from the staff of my little angel playing and romping around. Each team member here makes you feel like they love your pet as if it were their own. Each time I drop her off they know her by name! So lovely to be able to TRUST where your fur baby is. Exceptionally great company! read more

Shanti & her crew of canine lovers were fantastic! We have a chihuahua mix & he is afraid of most dogs as he was a covid dog & didn't get much socialization early on. I was very very nervous about leaving him for a day, much less 5 days, but Shanti worked her magic. We paid extra for daily training sessions & have seen a marked improvement. It's kind of amazing. They loved him up as well. We tested his training out last night and took him in public where there were other (leashed) dogs. He didn't growl at any of the other dogs & even had a short sniffing interaction with another dog that did not lead to growling or barking. I was floored! And on top of it all the staff were super sweet. Thanks Shanti & crew! read more

We have loved using Walk! ATX to help care for our pup when we are out of town! It is so convenient and the pup caretakers are awesome. We use a lockbox on the door so the caretakers can use a code to get our key out, and then lock back up when they are done. Every time your fur baby gets walked, the caretakers send pictures and an update on how the walk went. They even refill food, water, and give your pup medicine if needed! You can pay for different amounts of time for the walks, and they have other services as well like boarding which we haven't used. Overall, I highly recommend using Walk! ATX. read more

Phenomenal, family style care.. Briton, Rachel, and team have been the absolute best care I've ever received for my little Corgi dude, Einstein. Over the past two years they have consistently surpassed expectations. They have been there nearly every day, on time, and happy to take care of the little dude... It's not hard to fathom because he is ridiculously cute, but nonetheless it's a feat. They have also boarded him at a moment's notice when I've had to quickly travel for family or work events. Thank you, WalkATX, your passion for pet care shines through. read more

WalkAtx is AMAZING!!!! We started sending our Ollie here around 6 months or so and he's been consistently going since then. On days that Ollie goes to day camp he starts to bark with excitement as soon as I turn into the neighborhood:) As for the staff, where do I even start? Brit and Erika, they literally make everything so easy. From helping to book appointments, guiding me through the process, etc. They are legit. For the rest of the staff (shout out to Babs!) Ollie is totally in love! As soon as I let him through the front door he forgets about me :) Ollie recently got dog of the month and the amazing staff gave him and his cousin Lucy free baths! Overall, I love the crew at walkatx and so grateful for their love for our pups! read more

Super kind and caring! Everyone seems to love their job. And the happy dogs show it all over their happy faces

We're SO GLAD we found Walk ATX!! If you're looking for dog care in Austin, look no further! Britton and his team are truly fantastic. They take the BEST care of our baby. We never have to worry when he's hangin' out with them! We love that they will come and pick Ferris up and take him to day camp where he can play with other doggos while we're at work! Then at the end of the day, they drop him back off for us! It's effortless. They also offer overnight boarding of course which we have done many times as well. We have never had any issues and they always go above and beyond. They even send us pictures of Ferris while he's at camp which is a huge plus when we are missing him! Britton is a true expert when it comes to dogs, their mentality, their health, and their happiness. His entire team is the same. This is such a tremendous business. I could go on and on. Thank you, Walk ATX! You guys are amazing. read more

Oh my gosh. I cannot praise the Walk! ATX team enough. Any pet parent knows the anguish of leaving your fur babies in anyone's care other than your own. This weekend was my first time using their boarding services (I had previously had a few amazing walkers take out my Toby while I was at work 2x a week). Britton and his team went above and beyond to accommodate my (at times difficult) pup, even though I contacted them very last minute. Drop off and pick up was flexible and safe, following extra safety precautions due to Covid-19. They made sure to give me updates on how he was adapting to the "pack", and ensured that he was getting lots of snuggles, pets, and "room to do his thinking" (hilarious). He even made an appearance in their Instagram story! :) Walk ATX really cares about the well-being of your fur children, and am so happy we've found someone we can trust. Thank you guys read more

My goodness, Walk ATX is, in the words of Tina Turner, SIMPLY THE BEST!!! Seriously, our Australian Shepherd absolutely loves going here for day camp. He gets so excited to run around with so many other dogs, and we are happy its in a controlled environment. He comes home exhausted and happy, Britt and his team are amazing and highly recommend them. read more

This place is awesome and the people that run it are incredible! I've had my puppy in for their doggie daycare three times a week for about 6 months now and she absolutely loves it! For a little extra you can get her bathed once a week or every two weeks or whenever. If you have any questions they are super quick to respond. When my puppy went into heat for the first time, they knew before I did, and let me know right away. I had to take her out of the doggie daycare but I was able to arrange walks for her twice a day three times a week and that is worked out very well for me since I work from home and can't get out very much to walk her. Anyway, I can't say enough about this place, they are really awesome and I highly recommend them for any type of daycare, boarding, dog walks! read more

By far the best dog daycare in Austin! My dog Freddy is highly energetic and loves to run. I can always judge a daycare spot based on how tired he was when I picked him up. With walk ATX, Freddy is always tired and would fall asleep as soon as he was home. The dogs are out playing most of the day in the yard and also go for long walks. Most daycares crate your dog for most of the day and allow periodic play time (not nearly enough exercise for what you are paying for). I always received a photo or video update from the team which made my day and gave me piece of mind. They also do pick up and drop off from your house, so it doesn't matter where in Austin you live! Can not recommend them enough!! read more

I've been a client of Walk ATX for over 5 years and would give them 10 stars if possible! They have a great app that allows me to put in my walk schedule for my dog and they're always on time and enthusiastic with her. I get an update on her walk or on daycare when she's there. The boarding has been amazing for travel and she loves going there. Highly recommended! read more

Hands down 5 stars. They treat my pup as if she was a part of their family. They go above and beyond in caring for her as she has had some medical issues and challenges. Their client communication is top notch. I can't say enough about Britton and their team at Walk ATX. My dog loves going there and is so excited when I tell her she is going to 'daycare'. I can't recommend them enough! read more

I would not take my two dogs Ben and Cash anywhere but here when needing day care or boarding. I love their schedule and the fact that they take all the dogs on pack walks daily, weather permitting. Britton and his team are so professional and friendly. I love that they have a huge backyard for the dogs to run and play. I also appreciate the texts of pictures I get of them while in their care. I wish they were closer to my house as I live in North Central Austin however their dog taxi service is convenient when I can't drop them off or pick them up myself. My dogs get so excited when I say "Do you want to go to Walk ATX?!?" :-) read more

My corgi has been going for group walks twice a week with Ali for about a year and he loves it. I needed him not only to be exercised but socialized in a pack and Ali has been taking him out in a group of 5, 6 or sometimes even 7 different dogs of different sizes and temperaments to work on those socialization skills. I get pictures texted to me after each walk which is a nice bonus in the middle of my workday. Getting set up with Walk ATX was super easy, they responded right away to my online inquiry and scheduled a meet and greet to sign the paperwork and get started within a couple of days afterwards. Would highly recommend. read more

I've been using them since August of 2018 when I brought home my 11 week old puppy. She had the same walker, Ashlin, for at least four months before we got a different walker, Paul (he's closer to us). Mia loves having them come, and they bring other dogs to walk with her. As a matter of fact, if I park in my driveway she checks my car to see if there are any other dogs in it. (There never are.) They always take and send great pictures with an update about how she did on the walk. Before she was potty trained, if she'd had an accident cleaned up and bathed her for me. So I really think they're great service, and if you're looking for a dog walker you should definitely give them a try. All pictures taken by her walkers. read more

Sharing is caring, I love a great thing when I find one. I searched for a company I'd be comfortable with, A. Coming into my home & B. Taking care of my furbabies when I can't. Walk ATX is very professional, kind, and just as much as a crazy fur lover as I am. I love receiving the pictures/texts on their walks. Their prices can't be beat (I've done the research) & they never cancel. THANK YOU! read more

We've been using Walk! ATX for about 2 years now both for daily walks and boarding. Our dog walker Ali Nigzorski, is amazing. We feel relaxed everyday knowing that our pups are in good hands with Ali. We get pictures/videos and cute messages that are the highlight of our day. Ali goes above and beyond, even so much as going out of her way to make sure we locked our door one morning. We see Ali more like a friend than an employee of a company and we couldn't be happier she's taking care of our dogs on a daily basis. They absolutely love her and so do we. We are relatively new to Austin and it took us a long time to find a place or people who would take care of our two dogs. We own two cockerspaniels, one of which is 15-years old, blind and arthritic. After several failed attempts at finding a place which would take care of our dogs while we are out of town, we decided to give Walk!ATX a chance and were not disappointed. We have been using Walk!ATX for a couple of months now ranging from a couple of days to over a week of being out of town. Walk!ATX provides the best custom pet care in Austin and our sitters treat my boys as if they are their own.. very courteous and respectful of our place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

Walk ATX is absolutely the best. I'm moving away, and one of the reasons I'm so sad is that I know my pup will have to hang with someone else. Let me tell you a story about when these guys went above and beyond simple dog walking/sitting: We use Walk! ATX to get our dog out of his crate for a walk during the work week as both my wife and I have pretty long days. A couple of weeks ago Andrea showed up at the house to discover that our dog had really bad diarrhea and basically his entire crate and himself were an absolute mess. She took the time to clean not only the entire crate and wash off Bronson, but she even put the crate padding and blanket into the washing machine. Without asking us what to do, Andrea did what she felt needed to be done because she loves dogs so much. I can't express to you how amazing she is to have taken that on. We are lucky to have her looking after Bronson every week! read more

Britton and his team were punctual. The girl who was walking my dog for me sent me photos and pictures with updates of my dog, which was nice to receive. The price was very fair, and I thought the online booking feature was convenient and easy to use. The only reason this review is not 5 stars is because the girl assigned to my house drank in my house without my permission while I was away. Normally, I would not even mind, but it made me very uncomfortable to return home to find evidence that people had been drinking (and probably partying) in my home without my knowledge or permission. It just makes you wonder who was in my house, what were they doing, etc. When you're letting someone into your home, trust is everything, so this made me very uncomfortable. That being said, I think Walk! ATX is great for daily dog walking if you are in town. However, I would not leave town and leave them with a key again. read more

We hired the Walk! ATX Pet Care team to take care of our fur baby, Chewy, when we moved to Austin a year ago. It's been amazing to have such a caring, attentive, flexible and RELIABLE team! Britton and his team are just amazing! Extremely reliable and go above and beyond the call of duty. My dog Brody has pretty severe allergies, so our dog walker would often soak his itchy feet or make sure he had his medicine. They are also amazing with little kitties! My fiance and I just recently moved to Austin from San Francisco. We of course were in the midst of unpacking when we realized we didn't have doggy daycare or sitting scheduled for the upcoming work week. I frantically searched on Yelp and found Walk ATX :) I have nothing but great things to say about them! Britton and his co-worker Eddie came over to our house for a free consultation and to meet our pup Keo. We have a 2 year old pitty-lab-pointer mix and we needed someone to walk/run him during the day twice a week. Eddie came to our house at our agreed upon time (Mondays and Thursdays), and I know Keo gets not only a walk but a nice run since Britton and Eddie are fit! They are great communicators as well. I get texts on Mondays and Thursdays reassuring me that Keo is well taken care of. Walk Atx is an outstanding business, definitely one to trust! Highly recommend!! read more
