AMAZING service. I found them on Yelp and decided to try out. Yes, I'll book them again and again for our upcoming trips. They are very professional and straightforward with the process/payment. No hidden fees, no hassle. Minimum 50% payment upfront and the rest after the service is completed. We had a 30-45 minute intake interview. They asked detailed questions about our cats and our place. They sent very detailed reports and tons of photos for every visit. They took photos of before-after food bowls and litter boxes. UPDATE: After reading the owners response on my Google Review, it's necessary I chime in. They did NOT come back to move my trash bins to the curb. They came back to move the mail to a secure location. They never rectified the trash situation, so it's obvious the owner didn't read the notes. In addition, you'll see they're doubling down on their "business model" about not having the same sitter each day. THEN STOP INFORMING CUSTOMERS THAT YOU WILL FLAG ACCOUNTS WHO REQUEST THE SAME SITTER. Yall are complete gaslighters. Not sure why they're mentioning their hours of operation. They came well past the time window with my older cat the first time I used them. Lastly, they emailed me on June 28, which was 2.5 days ago. I cannot express enough gratitude and thanks to the team at ACS. They went above and beyond to correct MY mistake. I was out of the country and they got in touch with me the second they realized I had forgotten to leave my spare key for them. I was in the middle of a tour and was completely panicked but they assured me that my two kitties would get taken care of no matter what. Kim, the sitter assigned to my kitties, took time out of what I'm sure was a very busy Saturday to go find my apartment complex office, scan her ID, and get an office-issued spare key so she could get inside my apartment. The office wasn't answering my calls so she really took it upon herself to make sure my cats didn't go hungry. She was texting me updates the whole time, too! Have been meaning to write a review for these guys as I was BLOWN AWAY. These guys are thorough. The intake form is lengthy but absolutely hits on everything you'd want a cat sitter to know (things I would never have thought of on my own). The phone interview was also thorough and professional. The whole intake experience made me feel like they're total pros. My apartment is a bit challenging to access and they had no problem and there were so many photos and updates after the visit. After further research we learned they can provide a better, more convenient service for less than half the cost of boarding! We have already used the service over 20 days in about six months and don't know if we would get away so easily or with so much peace-of-mind without ACS. WOWZA. I don't think I can adequately express my love and appreciation for Evelyn + Team through Yelp! words, but I'll try. I found Austin Cat Sitters through Yelp!, and sent in a request for cat sitting over the 4th of July holiday weekend. I honestly wasn't even expecting any availability, given that it was sort of late notice and also a holiday. But alas, Evelyn got back to me within hours. We set up a meeting at my apartment a few days before I left town, where she met Sullivan--my cat prince--and I could tell it was love at first sight. I'm not a cat, so I can't say, but it seems like Sully knew from the get-go that Evelyn was one of his new best friends, which is all I need to trust a caregiver. The prices are extremely affordable, and include a variety of "extras"--such as scooping the litter box, watering plants, turning lights on and off, and checking the mail. I even forgot to buy a new replacement litter scoop before I left, and they brought Sully one as a present!!!!! THEN, I decided to stay out of town an extra 18 hours and Evelyn had no problem going to check on kitty one more time. She sent photo and video updates each day, and left the cutest note.
