From top to bottom, River, Ryder and baby Steel (Those smiles always make me want to come home early )

Julia is AMAZING! The level of care my dogs receive always give me the MOST amount of peace when I'm traveling I have three dogs in total, all boys. One of my dogs is a rescue pup and unfortunately he was abused by previous owners - he's not a malicious dog, he just gets so scared and wants to hide behind me during new situations. I've used Second Home Boarding multiple times BECAUSE of the way they are so loving and patient with River. He unfortunately does not feel comfortable around almost everyone who is not me. River LOVES Second Home Boarding. I cannot express my gratitude for not only taking such great care of all my babies, but for the EXTRA CARE and level of comfort they go out of their ways to make my sweet River feel safe. I am so grateful for ALL OF THE WORKERS at Second Home Boarding Thank you for everything!

Duquesa at the backyard on day one and two

I'm Duquesa's mom and today was her second day. She went from an extremely shy dog to a confident dog around humans. Cailyn is extremely nice with my doggie. I can tell Duquesa likes her. I was so worried about her and my dog was so excited about her second day. They let Duquesa feel comfortable with the environment before she's met new dogs and that's what she needs. I can't thank you enough. My Bby was so excited to come back on her second day. She even walked into the place by herself. I love the report cards and pictures and seeing her happy face and her smile. I feel my Bby is safe here

Chillin in the "living room".

I just picked up our Louie from his first day at daycare and he had a blast! Drop off and pick up is so easy and I can get him reserved for a play day quickly. The facility is very nice and clean and really does feel like a home. She even sends a "report card" with pictures (one she sent me included in this review) and videos! We are so thrilled she's in the neighborhood and plan to visit often!

One of the many update photos from boarding. Lots of play time and fun with friends!

Anthony was personable, full of good information, and helpful with anything we needed. The class was reasonably priced and I would actually pay more for the quality we received. Your dog is given the best type of socialization with other dogs of similar size and energy. Along with the solicitation, you get to learn valuable lessons on how to train and prepare your dog to be the best pet around. What makes this place better than the rest is the property. After touring multiple day cares in Austin, you soon learn that they all give the dogs a box the size of a bedroom to try and get their energy out. HP takes it to the next level with a massive field with toys and obstacles that they can run until they're tired. Our pup would come back each week, and instantly pass out. One word of advice, if you have a dog like ours, be prepared for a bath when you get home, because they will come home dirty. This is definitely not the place if you are trying to keep your dog clean. That being said, it is worth the bath.

I had been very hesitant to hire a trainer due to feeling like I was a bad dog parent for these experiences happening to my dog, even though I tried to avoid each situation. I reached out to Leighann, and during our consultation she was so understanding and compassionate about all the feelings I was having. I was so concerned about being judged, yet she was the complete opposite. We did multiple sessions, and Leighann taught me so many great techniques and tricks to help with my dogs reactivity. She is so helpful between sessions and covers such a wide variety of topics. Leighann continued to surprise me with new ideas and solutions for the problems that I had. I appreciate how she encourages you to reach out with updates and questions throughout the week, thus maximizing the impact she has on our training and growth. I now feel so much more confident walking my dog now that I have the tools and knowledge to be successful. We got another puppy a few months ago, and we hired Leighann to help with his training as well. She is such a godsend, and was able to help us with so many things (some of which I didn't realize she could help with), like getting our puppy used to positioning for grooming, relaxation protocols, recall, socialization trips and so much more. She definitely is worth every cent, and I would recommend her to everyone.

During and after our virtual training sessions she sent videos and photos of dogs displaying the same behaviors as our dog and dogs displaying the desired behaviors. At all times she took our dog's comfort and anxiety into account and never wanted to push our dog too far; she has a clear and deep caring for the animals she helps train and trains only using positive reinforcement. We did meet in person (social distanced) for our last meeting and that was another great use of time. Our dog is doing great and Leighann's input is why. 100% recommend.

Short story:…read more Rachael is DA BOMB of pup walking and care! We wouldn't trust Dixie and Dylan to ANYBODY else! She's seriously that good, y'all! (Very) Long story: I first met Rachael when my brand-new hubby left on his deployment to Afghanistan last July! As a lot of you can probably imagine, I was freaked out, super-sad, and totally overwhelmed with now having to handle everything in our big house that darling hubby *sobs* usually handled, including pool cleaning, lawn mowing, and dog walking! So, I did what anybody else would have done, and I took to Yelp and scoured the reviews to find a pool cleaner, a lawn mower, and, most importantly, a dog walker for the year! Our precious rescues, Dixie, a harrier hound, and Dylan, an Australian Shepherd, are leash-reactive and rather rambunctious on their best day! We can only truly drain their energy by heroic hubby flying his drone at Camp Mabry, as they chase it across the field for miles. That clearly wasn't going to be happening for a year because my drone-flying skills are very non-existent. Enter Rachael. She walked into our lives and literally changed everything! Our rowdy fur babies took to her immediately, I took to her immediately, and she immediately put a plan together! She was so calm, kind, professional, and competent that I relaxed right away. I just knew that we were in excellent hands! We decided on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday walks, and I handed over our house key without hesitation! Over the course of that deployment year and those thrice-weekly walks, Rachael not only morphed our silly pups into seriously-civilized pups, but she kept an eye on the house like a fierce Mama Bear, brought in Amazon Prime packages, watered plants, scooped poop, dumped the pool leaf basket, drove the pups to grooming and vet appointments, and just took care of anything that she saw that needed taking care of! Dix and Dyl both manifested missing their Daddy in different ways. Dylan, being pretty anxious and OCD, started licking his paws incessantly (Cone of Shame, anyone?), and Dixie, being a champion Houdini, started jumping the fence, and, after I put up fancy 8 foot fences to stop her, she started eating the fence. I honestly wouldn't have been able to maintain my sanity through all of that without Rachael! She worked side by side with me through ALL of that! To call her a lifesaver would be an understatement! So, as I write this, the year has finally ended, and my precious hubby has finally returned safely to me! Thank you, Baby Jesus! He's taken back over the pool cleaning duties and the lawn mowing duties, and we're back to drone-flying at Mabry with the happy pups, but do you know the one person whom we absolutely intend to hang onto from the deployment days? Rachael, of course! She's an indispensable part of our lives now! On top of the three walks a week, she takes care of them during hubby and my frequent romantic staycations, and she just worked hand in hand with our awesome neighbor to hold down the fort during our 8 day honeymoon in Cancun! She's grown her company in the course of this last year, and she has quite a dog-walking team now, but she hires impeccable people, and she keeps a SHARP eye on the whole operation! Everyone that works for her is top-notch! We trust Rachael COMPLETELY with our house and our pups, and y'all should, too! We will NEVER be without her! Thank you SO much for everything, Rachael! We love you! Love, Natalie, Chris, Dixie, and Dylan

She really let's me talk as much as I need to feel better that all bases are covered (even when I know I talk way too much). Deanna is very concerned over her clients satisfaction and the happiness of our furry children. My new sitter is Nicky and so far I'm really happy with her. She saw my dogs on time, sends me photos, texts me about them and even grabbed my trash for me. She accommodates any silly or piddly request of mine with no problem. THANK YOU! :) I have not tried their boarding/overnight services yet but I can confidently say their walking and playtime visits have always been great. Deanna and Brian have even covered for their sitters on the extremely rare occasion an emergency happens and the sitter can't show so that I am NEVER left high and dry. I can't appreciate that enough! Call these guys. They are great. They will find a sitter you are happy with and make sure you are comfortable (because let's face it these are our kids with 4 legs).

The thought of having a stranger in our home while we weren't there was a hurdle for us. When Leigh came for the preliminary visit, we instantly knew that having her watch our fur babies was a great choice. They liked her immediately, which does not always happen, and my husband and I knew that our dogs would be much happier in their own home under her care. Near the end of the meet and greet, she asked if we would like her to take out the trash, water the plants, or pick up the mail! Honestly, I was floored! Not only did the standard and even holiday price cover both dogs, was less expensive than boarding, saved us a trip to drop them off and pick them up, but she was also offering additional services. Oh, and I certainly did NOT miss that kennel smell on the dogs when we returned home. Each visit we received an update on how our dogs were doing along with pictures of their smiling faces, which we shared with our family while we were visiting. Leigh was always on time, extremely professional and I would highly recommend using FETCH! Pet to anyone needing someone to watch over their pets.
