My cat Patches who loves Danielle
    Kelsey H.

Danielle is the BEST cat sitter in Austin! I've been her client for years, and I can't imagine trusting the care of my cat Patches to anyone else. Patches is usually wary of new people, but she loved Danielle from the very first moment. Danielle has incredible rapport with cats, and she texts me a photo of Patches each day to provide peace of mind. She has even provided helpful ideas for products to help keep my cat happy when I'm gone. Once when I was out of town, Danielle noticed that Patches was exhibiting signs of a UTI - which can be fatal in cats. As a new cat owner, I had not recognized the symptoms, but Danielle did. It was a busy holiday weekend, but she still managed to bring Patches to the vet and stay by her side as the doctors administered fluids and medication. I was so grateful to have a true professional like Danielle taking care of Patches during that experience, as she remained calm and truly cared for Patches as if she were her own. She goes above and beyond to ensure your cat is healthy, happy, and safe. Thanks Danielle!

I can actually enjoy my time away when Danielle is watching our fur baby Luna! She is the real deal "cat whisperer" and so knowledgable about cat personalities, even the trickiest ones like our Luna cat. I've learned a lot from Danielle and have taken her recommendations on vets, cat food, toys and the pet scene in Austin in general. If you're really particular about your cat's physical and emotional health, and want to come home to a content and happy cat, Danielle is a must hire. I've experienced 4 other cat sitters in Luna's life and no one has come close to being as good.

Danielle was wonderful with my cats, Leo and Gracie. She came for an introduction meeting a few days before my trip and the kitties warmed up to her right away. But what gave me the most peace of mind was how professional she was. She's insured, has a great website, and really cares about the well being of the cats. She had sent me a questionnaire and other forms to fill out prior to our meeting, asking for information on each cat's personalities, their likes and dislikes, etc, as well as info on their vet and emergency contact. While I was gone, I got an update text every day along with a picture or two of the kitties, so I knew they were well taken care of. When I returned from my trip I came home to a very sweet "welcome home" card and a pair of very happy, well-taken-care-of kitties. I can't recommend Happy Austin Pets enough. Thanks Danielle!

Danielle is so great!! This was my first time getting a pet sitter, and I was very nervous to put trust into someone to come into my home and be alone with my little Timothy all weekend. But he loved her, and I must say I did also. It was a great experience from the moment meeting to me getting my key back at the end. She's very knowledgable-with great tips and I already booked her again for November!! Traveling just got a lot easier.

This review is only based off of my experience/ first impressions and this business may work amazingly for your dog! Once I found Walk ATX it took me a while to get in contact with someone, called a couple times, left a voicemail, sent a couple emails -to no avail! Sent a dm on insta as a last resort and finally got in contact with someone! Yay! Erika helped me set up my account and went over daycare. Dropped my pup off for his first day! First impressions matter to me and as someone who is nervous I would have loved to see them greet my dog. Instead the woman at the front ( not sure her name - mullet - immediately went into a quick " take off the leash. What's his name? You'll get an update at 11" And then I watched her usher him straight to the backyard. No saying hi to the dog, no convo with me, no easing his nerves, no questions about him, no petting him, no introductions, nothing. I didn't love that, especially since it was our first time and it made me much more nervous to drop him off there. Around 11:00 I started to look for updates, none. Tried to call 3 times, no answer. Again this is his first day so not hearing anything on how he was doing and getting no photos - nerves then rose to an all time high. People are allowed to have bad days so will update this after a few more times. Just know the first day is not as informative or warm may not be as warm as you'd expect.

It is difficult to find a doggy boarding/day care that provides such well rounded, holistic approach to pet care. We have used Walk ATX for boarding, day camp with pick up and drop off included, and for in home check ins with walks. As well as their add-ons like baths and fun photoshoots. Mo is a party animal - we are constantly training, working with him and we fill all of his needs. Yet he is an energetic, happy 2.5yo rescue from Austin Pets Alive. He is a foster win actually. He's always soooo excited when he realizes he's about to get dropped off at Walk ATX and he's welcomed with big smiles and a huge "Hi Mo!!!!!" by the passionate and hard working staff. Walk ATX does pack walks, outdoor playtime in their yard with staff assigned to different groups of dogs. I love that there's constant supervision and a structured day. Including rest/down time, which is just as important as to not overstimulate the doggos. It seems as if Walk ATX has only gotten better over the years. They've incorporated training, special add-ons, and cool adventures. Last time Mo stayed with them while we were in Costa Rica, Britton and the team were super attentive (Mo was on limited activity for the first few days per our vet), and even called to give an update, in addition to their daily updates via email and on their app "Time to Pet". I know Mo is cared for and looked after by a group of caring animal lovers.

With not much notice, Nicole helped us out and had us covered for when we needed pet sitting. She asked all of the right questions, sent us photos every day of our babies (who we missed the entire time) and let us know (because we asked) when they were being cared for. I cannot tell you how much comfort it brought us to know that people like Nicole and her team were taking care of things while we took a whirlwind trip to get away on a Holiday week. I always say-you can't put a price tag on peace of mind but it's even better when that price tag is affordable and not breaking the bank for quality care! The price is extremely reasonable for the quality of care you get here. I'll never use anyone else and I can't recommend them enough! Seriously. Look no further!

Since he was little Mufasa has always had the same dog nanny to walk and play with him every weekday afternoon. My husband and I work long hours out of the house and believe allowing an animal to stay alone is unhealthy emotionally and physically for them. When we relocated from North Austin to South Austin, which is like moving to another city in most Austinities minds, we left behind Mufasa's dog nanny. THREE pet sitters later, all of who are on YELP, we found Capcity Pet Sitting. Capcity Pet Sitting has been a blessing to my peace of mind. I can tell when a person doesn't have the time to really put into caring for a dog and when a company is just in it for the transactional benefit. Will and Claire ENJOY taking care of our Mufasa and it shows in his attitude at the end of the day. Will and Claire always keep me updated on how the day went and any new behaviors I need to be aware of or keep an eye on. Mufasa is always played out by the time we get home and I know he's enjoyed his visit with Will and Claire. I hope we have the privilege of working with Capcity Pet Sitting for many years to come. I thought because I had a reservation that meant I had a reservation... apparently not. I was supposed to call a day in advance to confirm my reservation but since I had not done this my reservation was cancelled. Buoy is a yellow lab, very socialized, but I thought SXSW might be a little too much for him. Having discovered in a very unpleasant manner that we had no place to leave Buoy I began calling all of the pet sitters that I could find to sit with him at the hotel. Everyone was booked solidly due to the spring break. One of the pet sitters I called was Anne at Ace Pet Care. She patiently listened to my situation and explained that she was also booked solidly but asked me to give her 5 minutes to see if there was anything she could do for me. At last, someone was helpful. Anne called back in 6 minutes (but who's counting?) she told me that her brother-in-law was visiting and that he would be glad to sit for Buoy but that he wanted Buoy to be brought to Anne's home. Anne said that if Buoy would get along with her dogs that she would make an exception for us and provide doggy daycare for Buoy. We brought Buoy to meet Tems and Batsi. All the dogs got along great. Her dogs are very socialized too and Cliff is extremely knowledgeable and professional in introducing new dogs to each other. We were immediately impressed. Anne was very accommodating even going so far as to show us around her house. My SO was very pleased to see how clean it is. I was delighted with the size of their huge, fenced backyard. Still, we didn't really know Anne or Cliff and after dropping Buoy off we made plans to drop in unannounced to see how he was doing. The first time we stopped by we interrupted Cliff throwing a Frisbee for the dogs in the yard. This is one of Buoy's favorite games. Both he and Batsi were chasing the Frisbees with Tems running along beside. Anne's brother-in-law invited us in, offered us coffee as we watched the dogs playing. Anne sat with us to answer any questions we had. We wound up staying for an hour talking to her brother-in-law about things to do in Austin, and getting restaurant suggestions for lunch and dinner. Each evening when we picked Buoy up he was pleasantly tired and relaxed. He never needed more than a short walk prior to bed. He had been fed, petted, brushed, given fresh water and plenty of play all day long. Anne's brother-in-law even took him for long walks. Each morning Buoy looked forward to staying with Batsi and Tems and he would get excited as soon as he recognized our route to Ace Pet Care. Both Anne and Cliff are the most customer-service oriented people I have ever met. They went above and beyond anything I could have expected. They clearly love dogs and enjoy caring for them. I have seriously never met a better pet sitter or kinder, nore accommodating people. Buoy had a really great time, was treated like royalty, and I am very happy. Our bad experience with the other doggy daycare turned into a stroke of luck as it led us to Anne and Cliff. I highly recommend Ace Pet Care. I have already made my reservation with them for Buoy next year.
