This is what they did.

These people butchered my dogs. I gave them a picture of how I wanted my dogs to look they could not even do a groom from a picture. Then when I showed concern about it they said well we don't care you still have to pay. They were not concerned about an upset customer at all. I do not advise anybody to take their dogs here primarily because of the horrible management. And then when you need to talk to the owner they come up with all of these excuses of why they can't get in touch with the owner this is the second bad experience I've had at this place ... no more. Then owner of this place is so weak that instead of dealing with an uoset customer she'd rather call the police to review video of an upset customer that used a few curse words. This could have easily been resolved with an apology and a no charge .. I'd still been mad but they would have been professional. Instead this company chose a holier than thow attitude and that the customer will just forget about them.

Happy pug puppy enjoying his time at puppy camp!
Tracy B.

Hands down the BEST pet care we have ever experienced. We started entrusting Kris with in home pet care a few years ago as she was starting out and she did an outstanding job. Our recent holiday was rather lengthy and with an 8 month old puppy, blind 4 year old and a 13 year old senior, we felt they needed more monitoring, so we chose to board them in one of the new condos at Kris's gorgeous facility. This is luxury pet boarding at its finest and worth every penny. After our last pug was neglected and died at Hillcountry Animal hospital, we had a lot of anxiety about boarding our dogs. Our fears have now completely vanished after our recent experience at My Love Fur Paws. It's just a brilliant set up and I love witnessing the growth of local female owned businesses. Their whole family does an outstanding job babysitting our pugs. Many thanks Kris and team!!! You were "pawfect"!!

Wally!
Adrian G.

Our French Bulldog Wally loved his stay at My Love Fur Paws! We boarded him for one night and also had him bathed the day he returned home. The facilities are spacious, clean, and well thought out, and the owner Kris clearly loves what she does and takes pride in the level of care each dog is given. We loved the big yards with lots of toys to play in. The boarding suites are simply the nicest we've ever seen. So much nicer than the wire kennels most everywhere else! We also appreciated that staff would post photos of Wally on their Facebook page so we could see what he was up to while we were traveling. The staff we met were friendly and attentive, and we appreciated that they took time to socialize Wally with other dogs, which can be tricky. When a group setting turned out not to be the best solution for him, he instead got lots of one-on-one time in the play yard and on walks. Wally loves people, so he probably thought it was the best vacation of his life. :) We've used other boarders in the West Austin area, and we had gotten used to Wally returning home full of nervous energy and needing to be calmed down a bit. Not so this time -- when Wally was delivered to our house (another wonderful service since we arrived home late in the day) he bounded through our front door in great spirits. As Kris was leaving, he even tried to hop in the car with her to go back. It seems readjusting to home life might be a bit of a letdown. ;) We will definitely visit My Love Fur Paws again.

Kris and her family have taken fantastic care of my guy since he was just 8 weeks old! I always know when they are caring for him, he is in great hands! The space is amazing too-love the individual rooms-just like home! I have used other kennels since I've been in town, but never one so great! Can't recommend them enough!

The owner tired to belittle me and by writing a nasty feedback on my google review. Stated that I didn't have any money for the services that's why I was so "unhappy as a person." A review is not set to personally attack someone especially their finances or character and throw out false assumptions. I'm allowed to be disappointed in my services and give feedback. PERIOD. Beware when doing business with this company specially if you have ONE bad experience and decide to mention it. They owner only prides themselves over five star reviews and anything less will receive a unprofessional/hateful response. Update on my puppy: Beware!!! A few days later my puppy developed a cough and I took him to the vet and he has kennel cough had to shell out over $300. I'm so irate.

We went to a couple of places, one even where you can watch on an app that was closer to us, but when we went to visit the place, we did not like the "vibe" of the place. When we took a tour (just call, and they will let you take a look at the facility before hand) of Paws Landing, we immediately felt great! We had our puppy for an half day "evaluation" with Durenda, which also made us feel at ease. She is marvelous!!! When we picked her up from that, she went over everything she did, and how she thought our puppy would do. They had her in a small yard first and let our puppy feel safe before they had her with the other dogs. I really like too, how they have the dogs separated into "small dogs", " large dogs" and "very active dogs". She has a great team working with her, watching over them, and most importantly taking care of them all day. They will always send you a text and email to confirm your reservation, which is great. They go inside and outside to play all day. If they go "all day" they will get a 2-hour rest, so they get a break from all the fun! But, believe me, when you pick your dog, they will be tired when they get home, which is "good thing"! Pam will send you pictures later via text of your dog, which is great to see at the end of the day. Now, that my dog has gone for awhile, she gets excited when we get there, and she is excited to see Pam and her team when I drop her off. Look no further for a great place for "doggy day care", Pam and her team will take VERY GOOD care of them, like they were one of their own!!!

The facility is spotlessly clean, which gives me total peace of mind when leaving my pet there. It's also in a super convenient location off US-183, easy to get to from Leander and surrounding areas. What really sets them apart is the 24-hour staffing--they provide round-the-clock care for boarded animals, so I never have to worry about my dog being alone overnight. We've used them for both daycare and overnight boarding multiple times, and it's been a fantastic experience every single time. I highly recommend Paws Landing for anyone looking for reliable, loving care for their furry family members!

The owner spoke to me in a rude and aggressive tone over a simple issue that could have been resolved professionally. Her claim she has given "many free things," is unfounded. She once changed my dog's food without my approval, then charged me for it, that wasn't free, and then left a voicemail calling my dog by the wrong name. How can she claim to know my dog's history if she doesn't even know her name? My suggestions get your story straight before calling. Unfortunately, I've heard similar complaints in the community and they have moved their business elsewhere due to her, the owner, Wendee, disrespectful behavior, which seems to be a pattern. In my opinion, there are other companies that provide better service, more flexible pick-up and drop-off times, and a kinder approach. I can now book flights that fit my budget and choose a care provider that values me and my pet. It's clear there are more affordable and reliable options out there for your best friends, and I'm relieved to no longer deal with the unprofessionalism at A to Z Dog Ranch. Happy trails!

While my dog loves people, she tends to avoid other dogs due to anxiety, which can lead to her biting them. I find it unreasonable for the owner to require my dog to participate in group play, as she stated. She is not familiar with the temperament of Australian Cattle Dogs. In the past, other boarding facilities have accommodated my request to keep my dog separated from the other dogs, but Mary Jane was unwilling to meet my dog's needs. Mary Jane did not provide me with enough time to find another boarding facility after she declined my request one day before the scheduled daycare session. The receptionist informed me that it was available, but MJ said it was full. Additionally, I asked her to remove my account, and she texted me that she would do so shortly. However, when I checked a few hours later, I found that the account still existed. I texted her, and I still haven't gotten her reply.

Both are high strung, worked up, and hostile individuals that really need to not be involved in this company or any front-facing employee requirements. This facility has received over $700 from my dog's visits in the last few months, and my dog has received excellent report cards for his kind and playful behavior. The caretakers Aaron and Curtis are wonderful to him and I, but I think they should begin to look for new jobs, as my recent phone call with Mary Jane and interactions with Gavin have been very intense, gaslighting and bullying. I was denied daycare last weekend and resubmitted my request because no reason was provided and they typically only have a few dogs on Saturday for daycare. I thought it was an error, as we come every weekend to play for a full Saturday. My second request was sent with a text to doublecheck the accuracy, and a text came back that the facility was booked for boarding dogs. I assumed it was due to ACL Festival, said no problem and booked my dog elsewhere- at Hill Country Pet Resort. Zoomies recommended no other pet daycare locations to me, so I had to start my research from scratch, and this place was down the street from Zoomies, with 4 star Yelp reviews. This is when everything changed. I had never been to HCPR, but upon arriving there I was greeted by a gentleman who took a hit from a bong and had sores all over his mouth. I felt uncomfortable but a sense of duty, and asked to see the facility to find out more of what I could report to city officials. They had kennels filled with piles of excrement at 9am, that the dogs were stepping on and they had no separate pens with mowed grass or turf for them to run around in. I left distraught, said NO THANKS, and drove away immediately. I decided to swing by our regular daycare of Zoomies, which was a few blocks away. I left my dog in the car and walked inside to inquire about any possible cancellations since we last spoke. The employee said he had extra help and that they would be happy to take my little dog because he was easy to handle and the employee seemed to know the situation over at HCPR and made no issue of taking mine in last minute. So as a mom, I was relieved but also wept driving away for the other dogs left behind at HCPR. All went well last Saturday at Zoomies, and all were happy. I even had a nice talk with the employees when I picked my dog up later that day. On Monday, I received a call from the manager of HCPR and shared my feedback with him- he was very supportive of my thoughts and concerns and went to the owners immediately. It was a very bad situation but the manager has a good head on his shoulders and took my criticism respectfully, as it was delivered respectfully but with searing truth. On the other hand, Mary Jane, the owner at Zoomies sent me a banal text this morning asking me to call her. It was written like she was a school principal and I was in trouble. She blamed me for going around her from the start of the call and said she wanted to understand my thinking. Pure ego on fire. I knew she was already upset and said she was at a funeral last weekend, so I could tell this just wasn't going to go well because she was very angry and acting hurt. Mary Jane kept interrupting me and then blamed me for the sins of all others who just show up without a reservation. She told me to stop talking and I had to raise my voice over her to ask her to calm down and reminded her that she's not the only person going through hard things. I asked her repeatedly to please allow me to finish my story because I was coming from a good place, but she kept interrupting and blame shifting. I said again, that I just asked if there were any cancellations with no intention of leaving my dog unless there was a new opening, and did not bring my dog inside with me. I simply wanted to know if there had been any cancellations since we last spoke. She made remarks that I kept putting in requests and didn't respect their final word, she gaslight me and twisted it around on me, insinuating that I was manipulating the situation to my benefit and then she yelled out that I was BANNED from the facility and hung up on me. That outcome was Mary Jane's fault entirely. She had not spoken to the employee yet, either. She just wanted to screw me over and get back at me for some made up slight. I was a loyal customer. I have also left positive 5-star reviews and recommended them on social media and to everyone I know. I am shocked at how much of a hurt and suffering elitist Mary Jane has become within her own operation. She seemed so nice. But things have changed and their personal problems are getting in the way of what could have been a successful business.
