My beautiful husky now has a permanent scar above his eye and the staff had no idea how it happened and never got him treatment so I had to take him to my vet and pay to get him stitched. I'm appalled at the lack of care these kids are giving the dogs in their care.

How can she claim to know my dog's history if she doesn't even know her name? My suggestions get your story straight before calling. Unfortunately, I've heard similar complaints in the community and they have moved their business elsewhere due to her, the owner, Wendee, disrespectful behavior, which seems to be a pattern. In my opinion, there are other companies that provide better service, more flexible pick-up and drop-off times, and a kinder approach. I can now book flights that fit my budget and choose a care provider that values me and my pet. It's clear there are more affordable and reliable options out there for your best friends, and I'm relieved to no longer deal with the unprofessionalism at A to Z Dog Ranch. Happy trails!

Milo is still getting use to grooming and Kit was very understanding and adapted quickly to put him at ease. We were charged a special handling fee (extra$15) due to Milo not behaving during his groom, but now that Kit knows his idiosyncrasies, she said we will not be charged that again in the future. Otherwise, prices are the going rate for the area, but I like there is no up-charging- nails, glands, ear cleaning are all included in the price! Looking forward to going back.

I went to a VCA animal hospital in Terrell because I had joined the Care Club at my pets previous…read moreVCA veterinarian clinic. I had 2 months left before my benefits that I pay monthly for expire. Turns out Care Club is only good for the clinic you initially sign up at. Lesson learned. Then during the appointment, I had to repeat myself multiple times only to have them repeat the exact opposite of what I've said multiple times back to me. I mentioned allergies at least 5 times to the vet and vet tech and they never asked before giving him treats. Over $600 in bloodwork later, turns out he has a gastro upset and pancreatitis. They ultimately recommended food to treat gastrointestinal issues that contains ingredients I reported he was allergic to! When I checked out they had the wrong name on my chart because they never bothered to verify it when I made the appointment or checked in, so I asked them to please fix it. When I went to pick up his scripts they added my name but left the previous wrong name in his file as well AND they did not have the quantity listed for the medication the prescribed. When I initially asked if they could include the generic for the brand name they wrote they asked me "what is the generic brand?" It's literally written on the package for the brand name! I asked how much the prescription would be to fill in the office and was told $50. When I looked online, the lowest quantity of the name brand I could buy was a 4 pack at around $50. (My pet only needed 1/2 a pill.) The generic medication was available in a quantity of 1 pill for $10. Again I asked to change the script to the generic brand and they asked me to write down a "list of generic BRANDS I was talking about." For anyone that knows anything about medication... there is THE GENERIC NAME of the medication and then the expensive BRAND NAMES of said generic medication. What a joke. I asked AGAIN what quantity of pills I would receive for the quoted price of $50 if I were to purchase it at their clinic and was told I would receive 1 pack of 4 whole pills for that price....but if I wanted to I could just purchase 1/2 of a pill for $28!! Needless to say, I bought the 4 pack so that if my dog had the same problem again, I would NOT have to return to this place and at that point I ONLY gave them that bit of business so that my poor dog could get medication without further delay.

They literally know what days they're going and can't get out of the car fast enough when we pull up! Alla and Tom, the owners, are the absolute sweetest and love our dogs like their own. We're so lucky to have them so close to home! They really took great care of our dogs and they got lots of play time with other pups. The price was also very competitive. I 100% recommend them and I hope you don't waste your time and/or money with some of the price gouging facilities that don't actually care for your dog.
