Store staff indicated that the business offers comprehensive, all-natural nutrition options for both dogs and cats. You will find a broad selection of premium foods, treats, toys, beds, and wellness items. The store also has a Do It Yourself (DIY) dog wash stations. In fact, we got the opportunity to see a dog been washed at the washing station...pretty cool! Some of brands you will recognize include PureVita, Primal, Weruva, Nature's Logic, Earthborn, and Badlands Ranch). It is important to note that Healthy Pet provides free local delivery based on a spend threshold. Healthy Pet also sponsors seasonal events like photos with Santa. Healthy Pet is fantastic. They have a variety of food and supplies to keep your dog or cat healthy and happy. I took advantage of their pet wash station to clean up my dirty pup. The wash station is fabulous and has everything you need to clean your fur baby including a deep wash bin to keep your pet safely contained, a wash nozzle to control water pressure and temperature, a variety of shampoos, a drier and clean towels, brushes, and spray colognes to make them smell heavenly! They charge based on approximate weight, between $12-$16, which is very reasonable considering all of their amenities. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. Whether Hanukkah, Valentines, or just a new book coming out and me wanting a cute distraction on theme with said book for my pup while I read - they always get me. Went in today and got the same staff member who has helped me with my extremely weird requests before and they made sure I got the cutest little Valentine's gifts for my pup's one and only friend. Showed up at the dog park and found out, said dog friend was there before us and got my dog a present from the same staff member. Wow! This place is awesome. The staff is very nice and greet you as soon as you walk through the doors. From the first entrance the smell is pleasant. Does not smell like a feed store or anything. They have free small dog treats and water for the pups. I went to the counter and paid for one dog self wash, $15. The associate brought me some fresh towels. And told me where everything was. The dog baths are not timed which is awesome because I have a fussy pup. Afterwards we walked around the store which was very clean and stocked to the brim!! They have 1 hour validated parking. Just ask for the sticker they give you. I will be back again!! Love it here. read more

My very small cat has a very sensitive tummy and he is 12 years old. I've tried a number of different options but he had been visibly uncomfortable, losing weight and throwing up his food. I asked an employee at Healthy Pet for a recommendation, not really expecting a miracle, and the employee hooked me up with Nulo's senior cat food. He was very knowledgeable about the different foods and this wasn't even the most expensive one for seniors but he explained the probiotics in a way that I understood. It's been three weeks now and my cat hasn't thrown up once! His coat is softer and glossier, he is bathing more frequently and is more affectionate. It's obvious that he is more comfortable. I'm so grateful for Healthy Pet's super awesome employee! I was going to buy a cat tree online but I will be heading to Healthy Pet to give them my business instead. read more

Chris- who I believe is one of the owners, always give us the best customer service experience. He suggested a specific dog food when he noticed my pups pink skin and asked if I'd tried the brand. While I realize the large stores (Petco, etc.) and web sites (Chewy.com) have a buying advantage, pricing some products double what the others charge seems excessive. Yeah, yeah it's all about the customer experience and service, but that's for those that don't know what they want. When you know, why pay more across the board and at some times double? Even so, one must wonder how much the employees know about the limited selection, as each time I wander in there are new people there. read more

Whoa! What is the one drawback of having a large dog?! Carrying that huge bag of dog food from the store to the car up the stairs and to my apartment. Lupe was very helpful over the phone as I made a phone order (they are still working out website kinks). The manager was the only person allowed to take my credit card info over the phone which is highly appreciated considering the amount of credit card information that is compromised nowadays. It's very nice, not a HUGE store but just the right amount of selection without it being overwhelming. Staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. They have an awesome DIY wash room for your pups, I just learned about it today actually. It's got everything you need plus some to wash your fur babies. I think the cashier said it was $12-$15 to use the facility but don't quote me. Everyone was just so nice, even when my bf and I accidentally spilled our ginger brew on the way out, they were quick to clean it up and tell us it was no big deal.
