We have…read morea couple trips lined up so we decided to try Bed and Biscuit for a daycare trial day (which was free) to see how he'd do. The staff did such a great job updating us on how he was doing, who he played with, and upon pickup he was excited to see us but not going crazy about it. The staff gave us the recommendation of giving Argos more daycare days with them before a multi night board and he has become increasingly more and more comfortable with the staff. The facility is very small which means the dog play groups stay small too. They always set Argos up for success with well matched play companions (we have gone multiple times now including an overnight board). When you walk in the front it's very clean and is not loud, as we've experienced at some other locations. It allows for a very calm and quick drop off which I think everyone appreciates! Your dog does spend a good amount of the day in a pen by themselves so I wouldn't necessarily recommend this if your dog is not crate/pen trained (Argos isn't perfect yet but can be calm alone in his pen at home). Otherwise I would totally recommend this place!

He suffers from seasonal skin allergies, so I wanted to treat the problem quickly before it made his skin irritation worse. When I picked him up, I was told that no fleas were found during the appointment, which was surprising since I had already found fleas on him earlier that week. After bringing him home, I found fleas on him again the very same day. I reached out by email to ask how this could have happened and to better understand the treatment process, but I never received a response. That lack of communication was the most disappointing part of my experience. When it comes to the health and well-being of our pets, customers deserve clear answers and timely follow-up. While I do not currently have a dog, many friends and family members are devoted pet parents, treating their dogs like children. Growing up, our dogs lived outside in their dog house and ate table scraps. The luxe life was not a part of our dogs daily routine! Now, gourmet meals, designer accessories, vitamins, and fashionable clothing for dogs are common. If you want to pamper your pup with the best, Barkin' Creek should be at the top of your list for consideration. It might make you ponder, should my dog be living a better life than me? This is a no judgements zone, so you only have to share this information with yourself. If I see your dog wearing diamond tennis bracelets, then I know who won out. Smile.

My dog, Jet, has…read morebeen coming to Bark & Zoom for 7 years, practically since they opened, and we couldn't be happier. There are so many positives to highlight. First, I really appreciate the rotating play and rest schedule that Taurus/Bark & Zoom uses, which differs from other facilities in the area. It's been a fantastic fit for Jet, especially when he was younger and would be tired but had a bit of FOMO when other dogs were playing and wouldn't know when to rest. At other facilities without this structure, he'd end up overtired and overstimulated from hours of endless play with 25 other dogs and poor trainer/dog ratios leaving minimal staff supervision. Bark & Zoom's approach (focus on temperament and smaller groups) has been a much better fit and Jet has thrived in this environment comparatively. The staff here has always been wonderful and so loving toward Jet as well. Years ago, there was a team gathering at Yardbar where Jet ran right up to the staff, thrilled to see them, and they immediately recognized and showered him with affection. Interactions like this validate the level of positive care he receives across several services including board-and-train, daycare, or boarding. Aside from great care, the convenience of their 24-hour model right by the airport is seriously unbeatable. As someone in the aviation industry, the flexibility to drop off and pick up at unconventional hours has been a lifesaver. I'm so grateful to Bark & Zoom for accommodating my unpredictable schedule time and time again throughout all of these years. This past year has been challenging as Jet battles lymphoma. He's experienced multiple remissions and relapses, and as he slows down and needs more care, the staff has been wonderfully supportive, bringing comfort to me on days when I can't be with him. There are SO many wonderful people here, but I'd like to give a special shoutout to Jess and Mackenzie. They've known Jet since before their well-deserved promotions and have always treated him like family. I appreciate y'all (and everyone) so much!

Even though she knows we're pulling up to the vet and freaks out, when you get in, at least they have confined spaces and extra hands to help handle the dog. They now have an exam room with an entrance from the front of the building. We managed to work it out such that the room was available when we pulled up and didn't have to go sit in the lobby waiting for a room. That said, there were still two trips through the lobby to weigh and then for her exam and shots. Dr. Kemnitz is a practical vet and I've been pleased with his work. God rest Dr. Holcomb.
