Like others I live off of reviews so giving you guys the raw version for all my over protective pet…read moreparents like myself. This review is only based off of my experience/ first impressions and this business may work amazingly for your dog! Once I found Walk ATX it took me a while to get in contact with someone, called a couple times, left a voicemail, sent a couple emails -to no avail! Sent a dm on insta as a last resort and finally got in contact with someone! Yay! Erika helped me set up my account and went over daycare. Dropped my pup off for his first day! First impressions matter to me and as someone who is nervous I would have loved to see them greet my dog. Instead the woman at the front ( not sure her name - mullet - immediately went into a quick " take off the leash. What's his name? You'll get an update at 11" And then I watched her usher him straight to the backyard. No saying hi to the dog, no convo with me, no easing his nerves, no questions about him, no petting him, no introductions, nothing. I didn't love that, especially since it was our first time and it made me much more nervous to drop him off there. Around 11:00 I started to look for updates, none. Tried to call 3 times, no answer. Again this is his first day so not hearing anything on how he was doing and getting no photos - nerves then rose to an all time high. People are allowed to have bad days so will update this after a few more times. Just know the first day is not as informative or warm may not be as warm as you'd expect.

Our boy Mo aka Molty aka Moshi has been coming to Walk ATX since 2022. As many of you, our doggo is…read moreour family and we want only the best of the best for him. It is difficult to find a doggy boarding/day care that provides such well rounded, holistic approach to pet care. We have used Walk ATX for boarding, day camp with pick up and drop off included, and for in home check ins with walks. As well as their add-ons like baths and fun photoshoots. Mo is a party animal - we are constantly training, working with him and we fill all of his needs. Yet he is an energetic, happy 2.5yo rescue from Austin Pets Alive. He is a foster win actually. He's always soooo excited when he realizes he's about to get dropped off at Walk ATX and he's welcomed with big smiles and a huge "Hi Mo!!!!!" by the passionate and hard working staff. Walk ATX does pack walks, outdoor playtime in their yard with staff assigned to different groups of dogs. I love that there's constant supervision and a structured day. Including rest/down time, which is just as important as to not overstimulate the doggos. It seems as if Walk ATX has only gotten better over the years. They've incorporated training, special add-ons, and cool adventures. Last time Mo stayed with them while we were in Costa Rica, Britton and the team were super attentive (Mo was on limited activity for the first few days per our vet), and even called to give an update, in addition to their daily updates via email and on their app "Time to Pet". I know Mo is cared for and looked after by a group of caring animal lovers.

I cannot put into words the love, respect and appreciation I have for Doggie Howser Pet Social…read moreClub! We attended their open house and were welcomed with open arms by the owner, Anjuli, and the entire staff. We got to see the entire property which our previous daycare would not allow us to do. There is staff on premises 24/7 which is the ultimate peace of mind, especially when we travel outside of the country and leave our boys in someone else's care. After their first extended stay here, I can honestly say that in 7 years of having our oldest dog, I have never once felt so at ease and so comfortable leaving our babies somewhere. The staff is so extremely attentive to their unique needs and personalities, and communicates openly with us. The constant social media posts are such a great added bonus, and bring us so much joy seeing how genuinely happy and well cared for our boys are! There is a beautiful outdoor space, complete with pools and splash pads, as well as two indoor spaces for those hot days! The kennels are huge and knowing our 50 and 70lbs dogs can sleep together without being squished into a crate is so comforting. They have room to move around in the same boarding suite, and they have amazing personal touches like cuddle time, delicious pupsicles, treats and training. I cannot recommend Doggie Howser enough times over, I recommend giving them a try and seeing what a difference this facility can make in your dogs happiness and care while you're away!

This is a great place for doggy daycare, boarding, grooming, or parties…read more Yep, they host doggy birthday parties-how fun is that? I don't board my dog and never will but I like the idea of him having a place to play and get some energy out. With that said, he doesn't do well with other dogs, or humans for that matter. It's ok because they have a professionally trained staff who work with dogs of all kinds and understand how to take care of a reactive guy. They also offer training which is a bonus.

They are very professional and straightforward with the process/payment. No hidden fees, no hassle. Minimum 50% payment upfront and the rest after the service is completed. We had a 30-45 minute intake interview. They asked detailed questions about our cats and our place. They sent very detailed reports and tons of photos for every visit. They took photos of before-after food bowls and litter boxes. They also sent many photos of our cats, which made us miss them even more. So far I can't find anything to complain about. Im very happy that I found this company.

They came back to move the mail to a secure location. They never rectified the trash situation, so it's obvious the owner didn't read the notes. In addition, you'll see they're doubling down on their "business model" about not having the same sitter each day. THEN STOP INFORMING CUSTOMERS THAT YOU WILL FLAG ACCOUNTS WHO REQUEST THE SAME SITTER. Yall are complete gaslighters. Not sure why they're mentioning their hours of operation. They came well past the time window with my older cat the first time I used them. Lastly, they emailed me on June 28, which was 2.5 days ago. Not all of us response immediately as we have work and other priorities. Expecting an immediate response isn't realistic.
