We had a great time celebrating my brother's birthday! The place is huge with several bowling alley areas, arcade games, a karaoke room, full bar, shoe rentals for bowling, and rooms for special parties with games like Jenga, paddle ball, and more. It's perfect for a group gathering of fun activities, drinks, and food! . We had a party of 21 and they provided us with one of the first rooms once you enter the place. The staff were friendly and our server Erica was attentive and great! She helped facilitate our food order: we did two platter of tacos that was served in a platter of chicken, pulled pork, and shrimp accompanied with cilantro, thinly sliced onion and two kinds of sauces for topping. I believe one was a chipotle sauce the other a crema. We got corn and flour tortillas where everyone built their own taco.. it was good, my favorite was the chicken tacos that i used the corn tortilla with. Then we had four orders of the wings with a variety of seasonings: the Thai chil and buffalo sauce was a hit! We had to do a second round of orders. They were crispy and flavorful. The nachos were good we had two platters of it. They custom the boneless chicken pipers for our party and they were delicious served with three different sauces. The drinks were also good. From apetol spritz, to tide, and variety of beer on tap. We had a great time and would recommend for a fun time with friends and family. It's like an adult version of Dave and Buster. The only thing I want to add was it was hard to reach a staff member to get help with preplanning the party ideas. I left a vm and asked for someone to call in the comment section of my reservation and no body got back to me. Luckily I had my sister try and she got through.

We expected a crowd for Easter Sunday brunch, but it was nearly dead. It was our first visit, so we didn't know what to expect, but we loved the vibe. There are table games you can borrow for free + plenty of pay to play opportunities: ping pong, pool, bowling, even karaoke. There were plenty of insta-worthy spots for pics, and they even offered a selfie station (with GIF option) with the opportunity to downloads pics from online for free. I got tacos and my sister had a crab cake benedict. The food and service was wonderful (thanks, Nathan!). As was the location. Originally I gave it four stars, but after further consideration, I don't have anything constructive to say, so I'm giving it five.

    Sunday Drag Brunch

What a fabulous experience at Punch Bowl Social! This was my very first time attending their Sunday Drag Brunch--and let me just say, I was blown away! The energy was electric, the queens were hilarious and so talented, and the entire event was flawlessly led by the incredible Venus Vogue, who brought charisma, sass, and heart to the stage. Everything felt effortless--from the entertainment to the service. Our server was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed without ever disrupting the show. Major props! Let's talk food: the waffles? Absolutely delicious. And their signature punch bowl? A total hit. It brought the brunch full circle and kept the good vibes flowing. If you're looking for a fun, unforgettable Sunday outing with great food, drinks, and entertainment, this is it. I can't recommend it enough--go experience it for yourself!

This is a great place to visit for a group of friends looking for an outing in Deep Ellum. There are a plethora of games here such as bowling and jenga. My friends and I came for bingo which was cool. Our tables were a bit sticky and the salad I ordered wasn't much to be desired as the dressing was very runny. The Brussels sprouts were really good.

Really enjoyed myself at this private Bumble event. This was our first time here and the atmosphere was great, the staff were very welcoming, and friendly. Kelsey (the manager), and Christian (our very nice bartender) showed attentiveness to all the guests Thanks everyone. The Happy Hour menu was pretty decent..we played connect four, bowled a few balls... and a number of other games as well (can't remember the names of them) lol. We'll definitely return, there's a lotta of FREE parking areas wether street parking or inside a parking lot ABC but I highly recommend arriving pretty early. The food was good, the chips were crispy not greasy the salsa was delicious. My chicken tacos tasted a little weird (a lotta fatty meat) was still on the chicken itself. Not sure What types of chicken parts it was but I may not get try that again.

Okay okay, probably one of my favorite bars that we checked out while visiting the downtown Dallas area. We ended up staying at this bar for quite some time. My sister in law was actually the one who told us to come here, as she had come the week prior and really liked it. So we decided to check it out. First of all, the vibe in here is so great. We actually entered through a back area that I think is more of a sit down restaurant, but they had a host sitting there and he greeted us immediately. He told us that we could just walk through and reach the bar area, so we did. Once we got to the other side, realized just how cool this place is. They have games, including a mini bowling alley, pool, darts and more. Just such a cool vibe. We did put our name down on the list for bowling, but I guess there was a huge party right in front of us, so it was a bit of a wait. By the time it was our time to bowl, we had already called our uber. Next time though! We did get to take photos in the photo booth. Loved that they had that. So fun! We decided to grab a seat at the bar, which is always my favorite place to sit at outside of Vegas because there's no casino game staring back in your face. The bartender was great and got us our cocktails quickly. I can't remember what I had exactly, but I did like it. The best part of this place? The people watching and music. They had old school music videos playing and my husband and I were having such a great time listening and reminiscing on songs we haven't heard in years. At one point, there was even a police officer I think working the front and checking IDs? That was kinda funny to watch. Again, loved the vibe here and would DEFINITELY recommend as a cool bar to check out in downtown Dallas.

I love love LOVE this place! It's very modern and aesthetically pleasing. The artwork and light fixtures were soo gorgeous. I went during the day on a Saturday and baby, the drinks were amazing. I got the lemon drop but with tequila and it was perfection. I had like 4 of them because they were so good! Our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We also went bowling and had a great time! Would definitely recommend if you want to go somewhere eclectic, because it's a one stop shop for food, drinks, and fun!

Went here for dinner on a Sunday, the waiter said they were short on staff and if we'd be okay with ordering at the bar, we went to order at the bar and they ended up assigning a waiter to us anyway. A bit confusing but the idea and ambiance of the restaurant is unique. They have a lot to do such as pool, bowling, karaoke, etc. If we didn't have a place to be I'd probably stay longer. The food it self was also pretty good. We got the chicken sandwich which was fresh and hot, mediocre fries. Overall if you want many things to do along with eating, it's a nice spot!

Good place to hang out and let loose. Love coming in here when I'm in town to grab a beer. Staff is always friendly and don't mind explaining their beer selection. Check them out if you're around

My sisters and I went to Punch Bowl social for our frequent outing and we will DEFINITELY be back! The food was good the drinks were great and the service was perfect for the atmosphere. Our waitress was Naan, she was extremely attentive, friendly and made sure to check in on often. She kept the food and drinks coming and was really accommodating to our party even tho we showed up at different times. I loved the way she monitored and came to the table each time one of us showed up to see if we needed anything. There were several things to go here but we only ate, bowled and did karaoke. The mechanical bull wasn't being operated that night so we couldn't ride but it was all good. Thomas was the attendant that assisted us with bowling and Karaoke. He was super nice and made our night even more memorable. He was very down to earth, showed us how to setup bowling and the karaoke, he even let us know when it was time for his shift to end so we wouldn't be wondering where our help would come from. There was another guy helping us after Thomas left but I didn't catch his name, he was great! You can tell they genuinely love working for punch bowl social which makes the customer experience 1000% better. Looking to plan more events here in the future.

This place has so much potential, but unfortunately I thought it was only average in terms of drinks, atmosphere, and activities. From the outside, the building doesn't look too big, but once you enter, you realize that the space is massive, with multiple floors and even outdoor patio seating upstairs. There is a main bar situated in the center of the lower floor space with many beers on tap. Pricing is fair, but you definitely pay for the convenience of being at a location that has many activity options. Downstairs activities include: karaoke, ping pong tables, bowling, and pinball machines. Upstairs, there's mini bowling, darts, scrabble, and an outdoor area overlooking the main street. Compared to a Dave's & Buster, this place is a lot more chill and has a relaxed vibe where you can hang out and catch up with your friends.

I really wanna like this place because the concept is cool, but every time I come in it is the same problems. For the good part, we were sat immediately on a Saturday night. Our waiter was nice and took our orders immediately. That was great! Now on three separate occasions and different days of the week they are always out of the featured punch and the watermelon punch. It will either get one or both! I do not understand how you can be PUNCH Bowl social, have three on the menu, and only have one. I don't understand why this happens every time I'm there. I ended up getting a rum and coke and then their night in Jalisco drink. I will say you are better ordering off menu because the drinks they have on the menu never taste good and don't have a consistent flavor. We ordered some food next and the waiter didn't bring silverware or napkins and we had to wait 15 minutes just to eat or wipe our hands. This wasn't a fact of it being busty, because we can see all the waiters sitting in a corner laughing and talking, he just kept forgetting to come back. I don't think I will put this on my list of faves in dallas.

Thanks to the reservation, we were seated right away and immediately greeted by our server, who was honestly amazing from start to finish. She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel effortless. We kicked things off with drinks. I started with an espresso martini, and it was really, really good--smooth, balanced, and exactly what I was hoping for. For my second drink, I tried the smoked Old Fashioned from their holiday menu. It was good, but I'll be honest, it was extremely strong. Like, really strong. In general, their drinks definitely pack a punch, so that's something to keep in mind when ordering. For my entrée, I ordered the Mediterranean smoked chicken salad, and wow. It was hands down one of the best salads I've ever had in my life. Everything was perfectly balanced, flavorful, and satisfying, and it didn't feel like a "boring" salad at all. It was so good that I already know I'll be coming back specifically for that dish, though I'm also curious to try more of the menu next time. Overall, this place absolutely lived up to the recommendation. Great service, strong drinks, and standout food. I'll definitely be back.

The layout feels open and comfortable, and the overall vibe is upbeat without being overwhelming. That said, service on arrival could use some attention. There was a noticeable gap at the host stand with several guests waiting and no staff in sight, which set a slightly off first impression. Once seated, though, the experience improved. Ally at the bar stood out right away. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming, she helped turn the visit around and made the experience feel more personal. She did come back to check in later, which was appreciated and helped round out the service. On the food and drink side, they carry Manhattan Project Beer Company's Half-Life, which is a big win and pairs exceptionally well with the French dip. The sandwich itself is flavorful and satisfying. The fries were a bit on the softer side, so if you prefer them crispy, I'd definitely recommend asking for them extra crispy when ordering. Overall, Thirsty Lion has a lot going for it. Great atmosphere, solid menu, and standout staff like Ally. With a little more consistency at the front of house, this place easily moves from good to great.

I am not sure if the patio is climate controlled in the summer or not. But on that night we were there, the weather was mild so it was very pleasant. They have happy hour on Saturdays so I started with an IPA on tap and the wife had a Prosecco, also for happy hour prices. This is a tapas restaurant so I will try to remember all that we had. Manchego cheese board: excellent. The crisps and jam were perfect with the cheese. Potato torilla: excellent. The flavors melded very well and it was very tasty. It's filling so keep that in mind. Ceviche de jalapeno: excellent. Not too spicy, the shrimp and seafood was fresh with no fishy smell. The plantains were cooked perfectly, not greasy. Brisket on crostini: excellent. Forget the name but they are a winner. Brisket is good quality and the flavors come together nicely. Chicken skewer: excellent. They smartly use chicken thighs so the meat is juicy and tender. Tuna tartare: good. It actually was my least favorite. The quality was very good but it did not have much flavor. I needed some heat, some acid, something to give it a kick. We were absolutely stuffed and did not try dessert. Our server Marcellus was excellent. Very helpful and pleasant throughout. He never disappeared for too long. The moment we walked in, it felt like home, but not in the "kick off your shoes" way. No, this was the "you're safe here, baby" kind of home. The vibe? Cozy. Elevated. Like Restoration Hardware met someone emotionally stable. Elliott was our server and an absolute delight. Joseph was the manager, casually spreading joy like Oprah with a tray of Bloody Mary shots. Amber... now let me pause here, because this woman deserves a paragraph of her own. Amber isn't just a GM. She's the kind of soul you meet once and never forget. When I asked for her to come to our table just to pay her a compliment, we both practically teared up. She received it with open arms, no ego, no deflection, just pure, gracious presence. I was mid-sentence and suddenly I had that Creed song stuck in my head. You know the one. "With arms wide open..." That's the kind of energy she brought to the entire restaurant. Amber made every person in that room feel like they mattered. Not because it's her job, but because it's who she is. She's fresh off earning her master's in hospitality, and if that degree came with a crown, she's wearing it. The Porch doesn't just run smoothly. It runs on Amber energy. But let's talk about the moment I saw God. Cornbread Eggs Benedict: Not crab. Not salmon. Corn. Bread. And not just any cornbread. The softest, fluffiest, most cuttable cloud of golden glory I've ever had the pleasure of annihilating with a fork. A fork, not a steak knife. Do you understand how rare that is? Normally I'm out here sawing through an English muffin like I'm in a lumberjack competition. This? Melted like butter. Tasted like a hug. 12/10. Incredible. And then, as if the eggs benny enlightenment wasn't enough, Joseph reappears with a tray of free Bloody Mary shots for the entire restaurant. With olives. For everyone. The joy? Immediate. The energy? Electric. The crowd? Unified. I watched a grandmother at the next table raise her glass like the queen she is. I nearly cried. This wasn't service. This was a masterclass in human connection. Restaurants can be transactional. Robotic. This was the opposite. This was care, intention, soul. My high school principal once said: "The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little bit of extra." The Porch brought extra, bagged it, garnished it, and served it on a tray. Final thought: If you're not brunching here, I'm concerned. If you are? I'll raise my Bloody Mary shot to you. And Amber, if you ever run for mayor, you've already got my vote. I'll run your campaign and show up in a custom t-shirt.

We got a cheeseboard, but if I had to recommend one thing, definitely the fried mushrooms if you like mushrooms. They're huge and the spicy cilantro sour cream sauce is killer! We sat in the indoor/outdoor area, which was my fave. It can take a minute to flag someone down when it's busy, but that felt understandable for how busy they were. Easy place to settle into and lose track of time a bit--just drinks, conversation, and good food without overthinking it.

I came for "just one pint" and left three days later wearing someone else's sweater, speaking in a…read morequestionable accent, and convinced I'm 1/16th Irish on my mother's side (DNA test still pending). The Guinness is poured so perfectly it should be in the Louvre. The bartender, Austin (I'm pretty sure that's his real name and not just what he tells customers), has the patience of a saint and the sarcasm of a man who's been asked "Do you have anything like Guinness but less dark?" one too many times. Highlights: The fish & chips were so good I briefly considered converting to Catholicism just so I could thank God properly. The bathroom graffiti is poetic. "Roses are red, violets are blue, I came for a piss and met half the crew." - actual quote. Then you've got Hannah, who's basically the pub's chaos coordinator. She's got blonde hair that could guide ships in a fog and a laugh that echoes like a banshee having a great time. Don't sleep on Wes - He'll nod once, slide you your drink, and if you're lucky, mutter something profound like "Life's short, drink good stout." Then he disappears to polish glasses like he's auditioning for a monastery. Absolute mystery man, 10/10 enigma. And rounding out the crew is Paige, the wildcard. She's got stories that start with "Back in then..." and end with police chases, lost sheep, and at least one exploding still. She'll flirt with your grandma, roast your ex in three sentences or less. There is also this Asian guy that looks like a confused troll with blonde hair. He lives up to the saying once you go Asian it's amasian. Can't forget the blonde girl that's going through the Dallas legacy transition of bottle service to real estate. Shes as good at serving as she is selling real estate. These people run the bar like a well-oiled dysfunctional family. They banter with each other louder than the jukebox, remember birthdays you forgot you told them, and have an unspoken code: if you're having a rough night, they'll slide you a free shot and pretend it was a mistake. If you're being a gobshite, they'll roast you into next week without missing a pour.
