Every trip we take we are always making a list of local breweries to hit and try that offer beers that both me and the hubby enjoy so Jaquval of course made it on this list. Because I've slacked on posting this review, I cannot remember what I was drinking but they let me try a few things and I think I stuck with the same beer all night. Staff was mostly friendly and helpful, some seemed more interested in conversing. One opened the door and left it open so I let the staff know it was cold so another closed it but then the original went and re-opened it so I just came to the realization I was stuck being cold and hope for it to get more packed. As the night went on, the room definitely did get packed so I was glad we got there early and snagged a spot. We intended to go elsewhere for dinner that I had saved but the food menu here looked pretty good (and the original snacks we decided to order WERE good) so we ended up sticking here for dinner which the food did not disappoint. Overall, would go back if back in Dallas. Not going to let a few moments of not great service keep me from the good parts.

This is my second time here and I love this place our server Cynthia was super helpful and sweet and she kept coming to check on the table , the only issue we had is that my friend ordered a shot of tequila called the Aquasol Rapsado and when we got the cup it was clearly not a shot and even the waitress was like ohhh yeahh that doesn't seem right and went back to the bartender and he seemed to have an attitude about putting more in the glass for my friend and we can see his mouth and body language and it was off putting I mean it's a 12 dollar shot give us a full shot lol . Anyway the food was delicious the fries are fire , I will still come back , just all that over a shot was not necessary and spoiled my friends time he didn't want order anything else .

We were in the area to do a little shopping and bar hoping and the last location we stopped at was Jaquval. Thankfully by then I was feeling a little peckish and was able to try out something on the menu. This location is small but the there is plenty of seating so it could hold larger groups if needed. Enviromint seemed to have had chacter for sure. We enjoyed the selection of brew and cocktails. The staff was very attentive and freindly. Apart from that we really loved their merch and couldn't leave without purchasing a Godzilla tee. I highly enjoyed their protein packed Jaquval Board for $20 Which had pork belly, turkey, pastrami, bacon, Italian sausage, sauerkraut, pickles, house made bread, beer mustard, and BBQ sauce. Nothing on the board disappointed us and we are looking forward to return to try out more items on the menu.

My daughter brought her dog so we sat outside. The patio has several low tables and high ones with plenty of shade. Service was a bit slow at first but definitely improved overall. We split an order of brussel sprouts and a French dip with fries; both were delicious. The beer was good too. Parking in nearby lot or on the street.

So, having never been to Dallas we stayed one night near the art district, what a cool eccentric place we took a stroll and picked Jaquval. This place is great lots of decorations to bring spirit into the place like state and country flags. The owners were it was a Tuesday they were very nice. Our bartender was very helpful attentive and made choosing options very easy. We loved the Brussels sprouts, corn riblets and pork belly tacos. Everything was hot, quick and tasted great. They had lots of draft beers to choose from as well as cocktails and wine. Had a great experience they've been open less than 18 months. Oh and when I come back I'm getting the pastrami sandwich from the deli connected next door, it was to die for!

We went based on Yelp recommendations and boy, it was not a great experience. First off, this is really just an expensive sandwich place. A Reuben is $20 with no sides. Not even a plate. Just a sandwich wrapped in paper. The service is also abysmal. Everyone acted like they would rather be anywhere else. We had to go up to the bar several times for napkins, beer and water as our server just disappeared. We even ordered food she forgot about. The food also was just meh. The beer was okay but the overall experience was not favorable. Cool location though.

First time coming here but definitely won't be the last! I just got home from being out of town and was looking for a hot meal. I used Yelp to locate something in my part of town and this joint came up. Now I'll be honest, when we arrived I asked myself, are you sure you want to eat here? There were a handful of folks there all sitting at the bar, it was dimly lit, kinda loud as a movie was playing and it didn't exactly scream "come here to eat" - however I was hungry and after asking the bartender if they were serving food and he confirmed, I was willing to give it a shot. After reviewing the menu, I was impressed that they had more to offer than wings and fries. I went with the fish and chips and my sister went with the poutine fries. I also got a flight of their beer. After a very short wait, our food arrived to our table and I can't begin to tell you that this was pipping hot. I can't think of the last time I've gotten food where I had to wait for it to cool down a little before I could eat it. But with that said, the fish and chips were delicious! My sister said the poutine was great - the pastrami was delicious, she enjoyed the cheese curds and even the gravy was tasty. And the serving size is big enough to where you can share and not feel like you aren't getting enough to eat. Eli, the manager came over and asked us how things were going. He gave us a little history of jauval (Jack of) and told us that connected to this establishment was another place (all trades) that was like a deli and served a great breakfast & lunch. So if you are looking for your new spot where you can meet some new folks to have a drink and laugh with, I definitely recommend dropping in and checking this place out!

My husband and I came here and loved it! They brew all their own beers, and the ones we tried were crisp and delicious. They're also connected to a deli, so we decided to try their pimento cheese. It was sooo and fresh and tasted great. We didn't get sandwiches, but the ones that other people had looked like delicious, authentic deli-style. I'll definitely be back for a sandwich and to try other beers! Our waitress/bartender was friendly and attentive. The ambiance is a relaxed, upscale local vibe. They also have an extensive event calendar including live music. I think Jaquval could soon become a new favorite beer spot in Dallas! It's a great addition to Bishop Arts.

We were down the street at a pop-up taco shop when the owner recommended we swing by Jaquval for a drink. The dark pub decor & old-school taps transport to you a new place, and I was glad to see that the 1 TV in the establishment was tuned to the live PL match. There are plenty of wooden tables to sit at--it's a great place to catch up over drinks for an hour or two. I didn't get a chance to try the food, but sampled a handful of beers. They offer a good selection of classic beer styles. The coffee stout was a nice sipper, but I think my favorite of the bunch was the Pilsner.

I'm a 35-year-old dad, so I appreciate places that feel relaxed and family-friendly, and this definitely checked those boxes. They had live music going on, and it was actually really pleasant--not too loud, just a nice vibe in the background while we hung out. We brought our dog along too, and there was plenty of space for him to chill comfortably, which is always a big plus for us. The beers we tried were good across the board, and there's a nice variety to choose from. Between the indoor and outdoor seating, there's plenty of room whether you're trying to stay cool or enjoy the weather. Overall, it's an easygoing spot with good drinks, a welcoming atmosphere, and space for the whole family (including the dog). We'll definitely be coming back.

The grilled cheese was great, but I've gotta be honest -- the tomato soup tasted more like tomato paste thinned out with a bit of water. It didn't have that classic tomato‑soup flavor I was expecting. Aside from that, the atmosphere here is awesome. It's welcoming for both families and adults, and the space has a fun, energetic vibe. We came for a ping‑pong session, and it was the perfect setting -- clean, lively, and very community‑driven. A big shoutout to Abby, who helped us the most during our visit. Friendly, knowledgeable, and great energy -- exactly what you want from staff in a place like this. Service overall was excellent. If you're looking for a fun, social spot to hang out, grab a drink, and enjoy good company, Community Beer Company definitely delivers. Just maybe skip the tomato soup.

I'll start with the positives, this location has so much potential! I love that there's a brewery…read moreright on Main Street. What a fantastic addition to the community. The decor and theme are inspired by New Orleans/Creole/Cajun vibes, and it's beautifully put together. The layout of the location is a slight "L" shape, so seating can be a bit limited during busy times. It's a seat-yourself setup, and they provide QR codes at the tables for you to place your order and pay when you're ready. Now, onto the food and service. Unfortunately, the wait for both food and drinks were longer than expected, even as the rush began to die down. Our pretzel appetizer didn't arrive until near the end of our meal, and sadly, it was overcooked. Drinks The beer was great and a definite highlight of the experience. Here's what we ordered: Appetizers Giant Pub Pretzel ($13.99): A 12.05 oz pretzel served with signature beer cheese and beer mustard. Unfortunately, this dish was a disappointment. Despite being called "Giant," the pretzel was thin, and was a bit overcooked. While we enjoyed the beer cheese, the beer mustard could have stayed in the kitchen. Loaded Broccoli ($8.99): Steamed broccoli seasoned with Cajun spices, topped with melted cheese and your choice of chicken, beef, or pulled pork. I chose chicken, which was delicious and well-seasoned. However, the cheese was a huge letdown, it had an odd, roux-like texture and flavor that nearly made the dish inedible. Entrée Voo-Dill Pickle Pizza ($12.99): Made with roasted garlic pesto, fresh mozzarella, thick-cut pickles, and a special Voo-Dill seasoning. While the concept was intriguing, the execution fell short. The pizza crust was undercooked, and the pickles seemed like they were added at the very end instead of being baked with the pizza. The garlic pesto was the highlight of this dish. Desserts -King Cake Slice ($3.XX): Clearly store-bought and not made in-house. It also took a while to reach our table, which was odd considering it's pre-packaged. The kitchen area even had the King Cake box visible. Beignets ($7.99): Over-fried and served with icing that was overly lemony, which overpowered the dish. Side Order Jalapeño Slaw ($2.99): The star of the meal! It had the perfect balance of mayo and vinegar, with a fresh kick from the jalapeños and Cajun spices. I wish I had ordered more! I think this place has a lot of potential. The concept is fantastic, but the kitchen needs improvement. I do plan to return and give it another try because the space and the idea are great. Hopefully, next time the food lives up to the vision!
