I should start by saying I have never ever written a yelp review, as I've never been driven to such frustration to be compelled to write one... Working with Puls has been one of the most frustrating experiences. The idea is good - they come to you to fix your phone. They have all the bells and whistles - customer service that texts you, but their internal system has no way of keeping your case with just one representative. I found myself talking to various different people who didn't seem to have any idea about all the other conversation I had been having with support representatives. It made me feel as if I was not actually in their system. Down to the repair: My tech was 2.5 hours past my appointment. His name was Alexander... if you get him, please beware. He is more than happy to leave you high and dry once breaking your phone. As he worked on my phone, he failed to tell me that he had severed the connection to the home button. He then said he had ordered a new home button for my phone and that we would meet up again the next day once it had been delivered to fix the phone. He rescheduled on me 4 times, and then stopped responding to my inquiries as to where he was, however he kept promising he "had every intention of getting this fixed for me". The phone screen he put on made all colors have a blue-ish tinge. When I called support, I was granted a "guarantee call", whatever that means... it doesn't seem to mean much. They sent out a tech who told me that on an iphone 7 when the home button break there is nothing you can do to fix it. I am waiting to hear back from their support as to how to proceed, but as of right now, I have a broken home button, a messed up screen, and absolutely no acceptable response or communication from Puls. PLEASE BEWARE. The bottom line is, I called them to fix my phone, and all they did was leave it in a worse state that it was before, with no proposition to replace my iphone with a new, fully functional one. Incredibly distressing experience making it hard to trust their claims to be "certified & vetted technicians". I'd like to see these certifications and also a demonstration that action was taken against the tech who royally ruined my phone. I should state that their customer service folks are great, but that their techs need some serious work. read more

This service is just unreal! Meaning too good to be true. But it is! lol I got my iPhone screen replaced by Matt who was super profesional and friendly today in under 30 mins. I can't believe this service is available. These techs go and meet you wherever is convenient for YOU. How great is that! Scheduling my appointment was super easy my phone looks brand new! I am extremely happy and will recommend them. read more

Edward is the best! I'm going on vacation in a couple days, and the last thing I needed today was a broken screen. He took a horrible situation and made it so much better and convenient for me! THANK YOU!! read more

Really impressed with this service. The communication was excellent. You schedule your appointment. They give you a one hour windows and confirm via text. Really easy and the tech was great. Very nice. Very professional and very on time! They come to your office or home - wherever you need them. Really happy how easy they made this for me. Nice job cell savers. read more

Cell savers contacted me today and confirmed it was human error as to why the initial warranty claim was denied. They sent a technician today and repaired the phone with no issues. It was just a bad part. Honored the warranty. All good and again great service read more

Yes, this really as good as it sounds. I dropped my phone about 3 feet and it cracked, blacking out almost the entire screen. I placed an order online and he was here within the hour at my front door. It took about 15 minutes to fix, I paid, and he left. It was the easiest thing ever, I didn't even have to step out of my apartment. It cost me about $100, which is just as much (if not less) as I would have had to pay to take it to my local repair shop. Awesome service! read more

Exactly as advertised. People came on time and fixed my stuff. What a time to be alive...

This company is an absolute joke. They repair your phone with low quality screens and then refuse to give a refund. My first repair left me with an lcd screen that had lines and hot spots and wasn't even fully affixed to my phone, leaving a section where I could fit my fingernail in between the screen and the body of the phone. And it was draining my battery completely three times a day. The screen itself was grayish and DID NOT COMPARE to my iPhone screen in the least. Also, typing was very difficult and many of the interactive fractures of hard/long/soft touch. After numerous encounters via email and phone I finally figured out how to get them to put in a new "higher quality" screen. This one still kills my battery and it translates normal home screen activities into super bold letters/numbers. It's weird. There are still lines in my screen. THE WORST PART is the screen will go crazy at least three to five times a day. It opens apps, calls people, sends random Facebook messages, just goes haywire. The company offered me a 50% refund after I told them I was seeking chargeback from my credit provider. I told them no, I will just get the chargeback and they finally offered me a full refund. Screw it, I'm just letting it get charged back. They deserve the hit. read more

I cracked my phone on the driveway and didn't want to pay the deductible to fix it. I decided to try something else. Excellent service they arrived promptly and were very profesional I was close to Starbucks so they met me there which was a big help I would definitely recommend this place . I wasn't sure what to expect but I am definitely glad I called. My phone is back to normal read more

Weston Stogsdill arrived on time, provided excellent service, and was very professional. My I Pad was repaired to perfection. Will use the service again in a heartbeat. read more

Outstanding service! Price was spot-on for Chicago market prices and NO DELIVERY FEES! Made my appointment for 11:00 and my tech was there at 10:59. Replaced the screen and added tempered glass all in less than half an hour. The best part was he came to my office and worked on my phone as I worked on my laptop right next to him at my desk. I can't believe this service is real but it is! read more

Genuinely happy I found this place! I busted my IPhone 6s Plus on the train when I dropped it and shattered the screen. I priced around at iPhone repair shops in the burbs and was getting $220-$250 to fix. I googled for a place nearer to work (downtown Chicago) and found this company. It exceeded expectations for me. I was able to schedule online at my convenience and found the repair guy could arrive in 30 minutes. I told him my building has security so I'll meet him downstairs. He repairs it right there at a table in 15 minutes for $200. Yes, still not inexpensive but cheaper than the stores and the convenience of having the phone, which I rely on heavily for communication, fixed at work for cheaper than stores sold me. Phone works great. Highly recommend. read more

It is very tempting to use this company for the low price and convenient service but do not do it. I asked the tech if it was an apple screen and he said yes which turned out to be untrue. The screen had serious sensitivity issues which made it jump around or just not respond. It then cracked again within a week out of the blue. The screens they install are very poor quality and are not perfectly compatible for iphones. read more

This service is so great! The service worked exactly as described on their website, our technician was prompt, friendly, efficient and coming to our house was such a bonus! I'm a busy working mom running my own businesses and this convenience was exactly what I needed! Highly recommend! read more

My son cracked his iPhone screen and needed it fixed right away. I went online and found CellSavers!! I set up an appointment online, it told me how much I would pay (79.00) and they sent a tech out to the house within an hour! They updated me with texts and email with status of arrival and the name of the Tech that would be here. Phone was fixed in 20minutes at the dinning room table. No need to go out in the cold!! What a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!! A++ read more

Feedback Waste of my time Technician came with defective battery, subsequent attempts to schedule appointments resulted in technician not showing up for appointments, setting new appointments with promises of discounts, notices of appointment changes not coming at all and then coming in close to midnight for delaying appointment set for following morning... never did get phone repair. All around a failure to deliver service... I do not recommend... read more

HORRIBLE. SCAM ARTISTS. RUINED MY PHONE. WON'T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. They came over fixed my screen, charged their fee and left. They promised 30 minutes, it took an hour and a half. THEN suddenly my microphone stopped working. I went to Apple and it turns out it is my SCREEN. They put it on in such a way that now my microphone wasn't working. Apple could fix it but alas - since it is not Apple's screen it was not covered under warranty. I called cellsavers. They DID NOT CALL BACK. I called again. They gave me a refund form to fill out and proceeded to IGNORE MY EMAILS AND CALLS. I now have to take this up with my credit card. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. THEY WILL RUIN YOUR PHONE AND NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!!! read more

I dropped my iPhone yesterday morning. Checked around for prices to replace the cracked screen. I got prices anywhere from $150-$220 from various places. I called Cell Savers and they had a technician out within the hour. He was awesome. He had my new screen installed on my iPhone within 15 minutes. The total cost was $109. Awesome concept! Awesome service! read more

After using the website to schedule the repair of My Samsung Galaxy's cracked screen, I received a confirmation email. My phone was definitely listed in the list of models they repair, yet after receiving the confirmation email and a text, I got a phone call saying they don't support my device. THIS COMPANY SUCKS!!!!! Don't have them fix your phone!!!! I waited a whole day to get my phone fixed, I called them twice, both times nobody picked up and when they finally told me a time that the technician would come, 2 hours later they text me saying "whoops our technician couldn't find your house, would you like to reschedule" I waisted a whole day waiting for them and they never showed up, what did I get out of this, nothing it's just me and my shattered phone screen. DONT USE THIS COMPANY, ITS A SCAM AND DOESNT WORK!!!!! read more

Had a great experience with Puls! I had an appointment in less than 24 hours. Hassan was amazing, quick and professional. He explained what he was doing and answered all my questions. Screen was replaced quickly, expertly and at a fair price. Definitely a better option than shelling out money for a new iPhone. read more

I had a great experience with this company! I cracked my iphone screen and booked my appt online around 9 pm. By 8 am next day, the team got back to me and confirmed my appointment. Hassan the tech was courteous, professional and efficient. He gave me good advice on what cases would be better for my iphone too and how to take care of my battery. I decided to get a tempered glass added ($10) and a battery replaced ($39). The cost of everything was $120. This is a really reasonable price for everything and I was quite happy and relieved! read more

Signed up for a one hour window. They never showed. Never called to say that they wouldn't be able to make it. When I called to check in to see if they were coming they said they couldn't even get in touch with a technician. Now that I've read additional reviews on Yelp I see this company isn't worth the time it took to write this review. Stay away. read more

TERRIBLE. If you value the quality of your phone screen don't use this place. It seems like a quick fix but it's way more hassle than the time you save. My phone has a blue tinge to the screen most likely because the guy fixing it was too busy pushing his photography business and watching tv instead paying attention to my phone. When I called to schedule it for a repair with the so called "guarantee" my appointment kept getting cancelled. Just go to the apple store or jet city device repair does great work! read more

Scheduled an installation and received confirmation of the technician and time from Puls email and text message support. I Called to confirm 30 minutes prior to my scheduled window and they said technician was on the way. He never showed up and I never received further communication from Puls or the technician. read more

Called on a Saturday for service on our dryer and scheduled it for 9AM. The the dispatcher(call center) gave the wrong street, even after I painstakingly spelled it out. That still doesn't explain the technician being 5 hours late - arriving after 2PM. Took five minutes and said he needed to order a part. I stressed I was going on vacation and wanted it repaired as quickly as possible and would pay for express shipping. He said he'd be back the next day. No show, no call, no text. Finally I called the #800 at 7PM. Then he calls back and says he'll be there late morning the next day. I ask him to confirm in the morning. Tuesday goes by with no show, no call, no text. I call the #800 again, I have a flight the next day and can't afford to sit around a wait again, so I want to cancel the service and get a refund. Each time I call in I'm put on hold, the last time for 28 minutes and then disconnected. 8 days later--now they want me to prove that the diagnostic was incorrect and insist on charging me for that run around I got from the technician. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service - the worst! It's a call center, not a repair service. I had to hire another company who was able to repair it in 20 easy minutes. Puls wants to see a record of that repair before they will refund me--which is really none of their business. read more

Great business model. Fixed prices. You book online. They come to you and are seemingly avail at the drop of a hat. Once they arrive, they are quick, convenient, and professional. In my case, they even used an OEM Apple battery to swap out my tired dying battery. Worth every penny. Highly recommend. read more

Rodney Dowlen from CellSavers Atlanta came and fixed my daughter's iPhone 6 (within a few hours of placing the online request). He was very professional, and had the phone screen repaired in less than 20 minutes. I will definitely use Cell Savers again and will refer to all my friends. Love the fast & efficient service, and price was very economical. read more

This service was the the best!! We met at Starbucks and the technician was done fixing the screen before I finished my food and drink order. Much better than dealing with the long wait of a shop. The technician was punctual, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. You can't beat the price for the efficiency, quality and speed. read more

Wow. Woke up, cracked my screen by dropping it on the bathroom tile. Started googling repair shops and this came up. Amazing! Same price as the stores you have to go to but this is at the comfort of your own home or office. Did I mention they came on time and were very professional. Great service! read more

Today one of Cellsaver's managers called me and was very nice about the misunderstanding. I was kind of upset and hung up, and then Toya, one of the managers, emailed me back. She discussed the issue through email and was very apologetic. I truly appreciate the great customer service and would not hesitate to use them if they come closer to my area in the future. More companies need to have customer service like this! read more

First I just want to say this company is amazing !! They are the best phone repair. Omg you call them and they will come anyplace anywhere and fix your phone! Thanks to Pokemon Go, my little girl managed to crack my screen whilst hunting Pokemon. I was going to just go to the usual place I use but saw a groupon for cell savers Chicago and since they actually come to your house it meant I wouldn't have to worry about finding parking, hanging around twiddling my thumbs whilst my screen got repaired etc. Making an appointment was easy peasy. All done online. You pick your appointment slot, the confirmation is texted and emailed to you. Wes, my technician called me before he arrived and he arrived on time!!!! I couldn't believe how quickly he repaired my phone. Completely professional and very friendly. I will definitely be using them again and will be recommending them to my friends. read more

Amazing! This is the Uber for technology!...or maybe more like the Handy. Anyway my son dropped his phone shattering the screen (tears!) I made an appointment and the technician showed up at my house and fixed it right in front of me. He also replaced the battery and cleared out a rock from my daughter's headphone port (a job someone at the "genius squad" said couldn't be done) FREE OF CHARGE! There was a slight hiccup with the bill but the customer service was immediately responsive and helpful and it got fixed before the tech even left. WAY more convenient and affordable than the Apple Store. read more

Do not use this company. I made my appt for Saturday between 7-8pm. At 8pm I was called and told they don't have the part. They rescheduled me for Sunday morning. At 11:30 I was still waiting. I called and was told I was the next person on the list. That they would be here by 1pm. No one showed up. At 3pm I was called again saying they don't have my part and that they could reschedule me for Monday. I have an I Phone 6. It is a very common phone. I spent Friday evening and all of Saturday morning waiting for a company who never showed. Awful company. read more
