I've been waiting nearly three weeks to a simple washing machine lock latch replacement. The tech came out and determined the issue and charged $119 rather than the $89 quoted on the site for the service fee. He said he had to order the part and would return when it arrived. About one week later, he returned only to discover the wrong part had been provided. He then ordered the correct part and said it would take another seven days for the part to arrive and an appointment was scheduled based on the tracking information. However, the part didn't arrive as scheduled and my appointment was bumped out an additional four days without consulting me. This would not be a big deal if the tech was responsive throughout this ordeal. Two appointments has been scheduled thus far (awaiting the third) and he would offer to show up well before scheduled time only to arrive much later. I was initially looking for home repair insurance and got sucked down the rabbit hole that is Puls home repair service and regret it wholeheartedly. This is an internet company. We needed both our LG washer and dryer repaired. Requested service. They showed up at time promised. Our technician was very polite and pleasant. Advised us that they don't take request for 2 appliances at one time. We would have had to submit a separate request for the dryer. I already knew what was wrong with the washer and what needed to be done. Now mind you, the pump cost is $50. I do realize a company has to make a profit. However, to quote $500 just for the part, not including labor, that is ridiculous. I agreed to pay the $89 service fee. And sent the technician on his way. read more

DO NOT use this service for any repairs! Needed dryer repaired. 90$ for service call subtracted from cost of repairs, seemed fair. A tech was assigned quickly, they do not have a repair staff they use freelancers, more like a Uber of repairs. Problem to be addressed: drum and heat were intermittent at best. Tech removed top unplugged and replugged wires, pushed button and it worked TOTALY OVERLOOKING the INTERMITENT part of the work order. Tenant saw it "working" I was messaged by PULS to pay online ,225$, before the tech could leave. THE VERY NEXT DAY when the tenant went to do laundry NOTHING. PULS was called tech was sent.(no new charge) Tech spent the first 10 min explaining to me that the (yet undiagnosed) repair could be 100's of dollars and it still might not work. I had him open up the housing and ACTUALLY check the components. LO AND BEHOLD a relay switch was shot. A quote from PULS was $277 labor, 35$ for part. A bit much considering I had paid $225 for NOTHING. They had to get part. THE DAY the tech was to return I was contacted by PULS they "misquoted the part was now $147 w/ $277 labor $420 +tax. Please DO NOT waste your time by using this company. We had a HORRIBLE experience. The washer in our condo started making some loud noises. I stumbled upon Puls and decided to give it a try. I made a very specific request to be sent a technician with solid Bosch washer experience. We got a tech in a couple days after submitting the post and this is when things started going downhill. Our tech name was Jerry. He was an older gentlemen and was kind at first. He was 30 mins late to the appt time we had agreed upon which was not a big deal to me. He got to our building/unit at 1.30pm and spent literally 3.5 hours trying to take the washer apart. YES, TRYING to take the washer apart. Not even succeeding in actually taking it apart to get to the bottom of the issue. Throughout the process, he muddied the floor with his sweat and made an absolute mess all the way from the washer area to the kitchen and balcony where he stepped out a couple of times to make a phone call and consult. On top of it, I can hear him frustratingly watching videos on his phone and being frustrated at himself and the machine. At 4.45pm, he finally gave up and said "It's gotta be the bearing. It's gotta be the bearing..." I asked how could he have known for sure if he didn't even succeed in taking out the drum. He proceeded by saying "Oh I just know, it's gotta be that." My husband and I ended up getting a new washer and dryer because Jerry didn't even bother to put the washer back together the way he found it. What I refuse to accept is that we discovered he broke the folding door to our laundry room (probably from being frustrated the whole time he was working on our washer). We didn't know this until 15 mins after he left. Overall I paid $89 in service call and (1) Still did not know the bottom of the issue. If it was the bearing or some other simple matter like buttons or bra wire that cause the noise which would have saved us so much money, (2) For someone to break our door that we just replaced a year ago. I sent a video to support@puls.com and NO ONE sent any form of response back to me. To all homeowners out there, PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. It took 24 hours to get an appointment to have my Dacor microwave repaired. The technician stated that $89 would go towards my repair. Repair cost over $300, no $89 credit. My Clothes Washer was giving my issues. I wanted it checked. I made an appointment with Puls.com. On the day of the appointment, I was informed that I needed to reschedule. So I rescheduled. Again on the day of the appointment I received a notification that due to a high concentration of service calls in my area they were unable to provide a tech for the scheduled time and I would need to reschedule again. Loved the entire process. I wish I would have known about this service 6 months ago. Making the appointment was super easy. I had to change it (time and location) and the tech made it on time as promised. Hassan was in my house, fixed and checked the phone, sent a text message via Puls to make the payment (without me having to give my cc info out to him), got the confirmation of the payment and walked out. I also found out that they mount TVs and do Smart Home repairs. I'm always looking for a sweet deal and they fixed my very cracked... iPhone 7 for only $99 plus tax. Unreliable Servicemen - Lack of Transparency We were receiving an error message on our dryer and had a Puls Appliance Repairmen come out to diagnose and repair the malfunction. We were also told that we needed to get our vents cleared, which we did even though we've been in our newly built house for less than 2 years. 30 days after the repair, the dryer stopped working. What followed was a very frustrating experience even though we had a 60 day guarantee on the service. Puls kept providing vague status update, the repairmen kept telling us the part was on its way without coming to our house once to figure out what as wrong. Eventually the repairmen told us that he was moving out of state. Don't use this platform. Find a service provider that is local to your home, so you can have more control over the remediation if your repair is not performed satisfactorily. read more

I scheduled to have a full motion tv bracket installed the technician didn't bring the bracket , he used a flat bracket that was at my house instead ( which I didn't want ) . He also took my antenna off my tv , I can't watch live tv because the antenna is off and I can't get to the back of the tv because he used the wrong mount . I reached out to customer service they are not trying to accommodate me at all . They want me to pay for them to remove the bracket ( the one that I never wanted ) and pay for the one I originally scheduled for . They haven't even returned my calls . I asked the technician repeatedly about the cost of the repair and made it clear that I wanted to proceed quickly with this repair. He would not provide me a definitive quote, did not schedule a follow up, and I was confused by this unusual interaction. After he left, I contacted customer service and was told I would not receive information about the repair until I paid the invoice. Once I paid the invoice, I received a receipt that stated the technician provided me a firm price and that I declined to move forward with the repair. This is completely false, and they they didn't follow up until I filed a separate complaint with the BBB. They scammed me out of this money and falsified their inspection summary. We set up an appointment on Friday and the technician showed up and diagnosed the problem. He had to order a part and so we set up an appointment for him to return on Monday. He showed up on Monday with the wrong part (strike 1) and that our new part would cost $100 more than his original quote (strike 2). Said to call and reschedule a time for him to come today, Tuesday. I called the main number spoke with their dispatcher at around 12:30 yesterday and he told me someone would be in touch. So we waited, and waited, and waited. I finally called back at around 5:00 last night since we hadn't had any updates at all. The dispatcher assured us that we'd get a call from our technician to get our repair scheduled. So we waited some more. By 10:00am today (24 hours since he was supposed to fix our dishwasher but showed up with the wrong part), we still had not heard anything from this company as to what was going on and when we could expect our repair. Hi. My experience with Puls was very bad. Generally, people only leave reviews when they are personally affected; however, this is for the benefit of those looking for a service provider. The issue with Puls is they are hiring technicians that may be experienced, but they are pushing the back office work onto them and they are not capable of serving customers. The technician is required to track down the part and have their own relationships with part vendors. In addition, the technician is the only one doing the pricing, follow up, and overall customer experience. So your entire point of view of Puls will be dictated by the individual technician that you have. My technician was horrible and said he could not get the part, so I needed to find a new fridge. The part was available online and I could purchase it, but they couldn't for some reason. I talked to a supervisor and the supervisor said they would get me a different technician, but I would have to pay the diagnostic fee again. I will have to find a new service provider. read more

The technician was 2 hours late, pushing back the appointment time at least twice, had NO IDEA what the problem with my freezer was, and told me he could not diagnose the problem. He was courteous, but totally ineffective. I ended up hiring another company that diagnosed the problem and fixed it within 30 minutes. Unfortunately, Puls has continued to try and collect payment for a service that was not provided. In addition, their customer service is awful, would not let me either provide electronic feedback or speak with a customer service agent; they would only let me speak with billing. read more

They sent someone out to my home to fix a leak in my shower. The technician showed up to my home without any tools and needed to borrow tools from me. Then he continued to work on my shower's water shut off for 30 minutes, where he needed to use my tools as well as some WD 40. This resulted in his stripping my water shut off valve. After complaining, they wanted to charge me to have someone else come out to fix it when THEIR technician was the one to stripped it and did not fix my original leak. Terrible. Scheduling was an absolute nightmare to the point they offered me a 10 dollar discount because they could never get a tech out on a day or time they promised. DO NOT believe the timeframes the app shows you- the techs they have in your area are most likely limited and will come whenever you want and it won't be the same day of you scheduling. While he mounted the tv on the wall fine, the cord concealment was an absolute joke and a waste of money. All he did was cut an extra hole below the tv and ran wires through it. The cords are still coming out and bottom and an extension cord was needed to connect it to the nearest outlet so it looked terrible. When I asked him if he could put an outlet behind the actual TV to hide it completely he told me it was not possible. I later hired another company who did outlet relocation (which was exactly what I wanted) and it took them less than 30 minutes. Proving that it was entirely possible! When I talked to customer service about the issue, they were unhelpful, scripted, and dismissive. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. We had our 2 TVs mounted by Puls on Friday, July 6, and on Friday, July 13 at 4am, the bedroom wall-mount and tv fell and the TV broke...BECAUSE THEY MOUNTED BETWEEN THE POST IN THE DRY WALL, INSTEAD OF IN THE POST. Not to mention, the day of service, the guys were 5 hours late, then had to leave again because they did not have the right screws for the living room tv (in which they ended up mounting it crooked). They were extremely unprepared and inexperienced as the final results displayed. (SEE ATTACHED PICTURES) After contacting Puls on July 13th, sending in pictures and other details, about the tv-mount and TV falling and breaking, we finally got a response from Andi on the support team, on July 17th. He agreed to refund the wall-mount services and only 1/3 of what we paid for our TV. I, also, finally got him to agree to arrange to send someone out to patch the giant holes in our wall. It is July 30th and NOTHING has been refunded and NO HOLES have been repatched. At this point, we have a strand of emails of us being given the run-around, false promises via phone calls, extreme headaches, a broken TV, large holes in the wall, and out of around $600. Scheduled my screen repair on a Sunday. I was able select a time me as soon as one hour away, was able to schedule through the website, and received a text and an email to confirm. Then the guy texted me when he was at my place. This business model is perfect if you are like me and hate talking on the phone! The guy came in, was nice, fast and efficient. He was done in less than thirty minutes and my screen is better than new (i got the protective screen for an extra 10$). It came to 129$ which is pricey comparable to some other places but they will come to you (home, work, etc). Hopefully this was the first and last time I will ever have to deal with a broken screen, but this is definitely the place I'd go. I loved not having to leave my house! read more

Beware of using Puls! I paid for a microwave repair and a 90-day repair guarantee. The microwave was working intermittently after the initial repair so a technician came to inspect. He determined at that point that he needed to come back another day with another person. My microwave never worked again and even scarier, on the next inspection I was unsure the second technician was even a Puls employee. The individual barely spoke, did not introduce himself as a Puls employee, and did not show identification. Puls 90-day guarantee gets you minimally responsive customer service if you have continued issues and potentially unlicensed individuals coming to your home. I do not recommend. read more

**Not qualified for appliance repairs!** First of all, the technicians are not employees of Puls. They are independent contractors, and there is no accountability or standards of customer service. They may be fine for handyman services, but they are definitely NOT qualified nor prepared to repair major appliances. We had a technician come out to look at an error message we were receiving on our washing machine. The washing machine still worked before Puls came. Similar to other reviewers, the technician had to come back multiple times because he didn't have parts, had to order parts, etc. The last time he was here, the part was supposedly ordered and would be arriving in 2 days. Now, neither the technician nor customer service will return our calls nor provide resolution, and the machine is completely inoperable due to the damage caused by the technician. After calling some other service companies for advice, we have been told that the part damaged by the technician is at least $600, so we will likely just have to replace the entire machine. When they did show, the technician said a part needed to be ordered and would return in a week During the wait, the dishwasher leaked water into my floor and basement. DO NOT TRUST THIS SERVICE, especially if you have children in the house. Technician left the job without the TV being locked and secured to the mount. Technician assured us that the TV was secure, especially because we have small children. 3-4 hours after the install the TV was crooked and we saw that the TV was not even locked to the wall bracket and was hanging only on its top hooks. The wall bracket was installed incorrectly and the TV could not be locked properly. Technician said it was a faulty mount. But the technician left the job without troubleshooting or locking the TV to the mount. We spent 2 hours fixing the issue ourselves and identified that the wall bracket was not installed properly. We reinstalled the wall bracket ourselves and corrected the issue. We contacted Puls for a partial refund (other aspects of the service were satisfactory) but Puls refused to issue any refund. Puls said that after the technician left the TV was fine but they don't care that 3-4 hours later it was crooked and just hanging on the hooks without being secured. read more
