I've been to this Publix more than a few times--probably more than I'd like to admit. The one consistent thing is that the parking lot can be a bit chaotic, and it feels like there's almost an incident waiting to happen every time I'm there. Inside, though, it's a much better experience. The staff is friendly, especially the team at the front desk, who are always pleasant and helpful. The store is also reliably well stocked, which makes shopping easy once you're past the parking situation. I love this store, near my home. Walking distance. And the line for sub not too long. Even during the lunch time. People who works there are nice with smiles. They got pharmacy too. For people who want to get some pretty and unique pumpkin, they have a lots. Gorgeous collection. From this store, just the bakery needs to improve. $8.19 for a half sub. I ordered online, asked for it toasted, and they stored it in the refrigerator even though I showed up early to get it. My husband and I are visiting Atlanta from out of state and were hoping to find ready-made refrigerated plant-based meals and vegan dessert options. We didn't find what we were looking for with the meals and asked Deryl (manager of the bakery I believe) if there were any vegan dessert options in the bakery section. He walked from around the counter to us and brought us to a number vegan dessert options in the bakery. He noted that they weren't stocked with much but recommended other Publix locations that might have more options in stock and some local dessert shops that might have vegan options. He could have just pointed to the vegan options from the counter but he took the time and made the effort to walk us to the different options and give us suggestions which we really appreciated. read more

I always enjoy going to Publix. Publix Super Markets is a chain with a wide selection of groceries, plus deli and bakery departments. This is by far the best Publix I have been to in Atlanta. It is all because of the product selection plus exceptional customer service. Very clean and well organized. The staff was friendly and the shelves were well stocked all the time. The aisles are wide and very clean. Checkout was always quick and fast. They accept coupons as well. They carry fresh fruits and delicious Subs. And their chicken is so crunchy and seasoned so well. No matter when you come shopping here there will always be some kind of sale like the Buy 1, Get 1 Free on certain brands. Publix is kind of pricey but their products are so worth it. On Wednesdays all of the Sushi is $5. Just don't wait till the end of the day to get some because it will be picked over or all gone. If you know how much their sushi is then you know this is a good deal. They are located in a shopping plaza with TJ Maxx, Paneera Bread and Party City. Their is plenty of parking but parking can get kind of hectic sometimes because the shopping area is busy all the time. Staff is ready to help and always friendly. Everyone I encountered there, from the bakery, produce and especially the cashiers, were just as nice as can be. Even the customers I interacted with were great to talk to. This is by far the best Publix I've been to in Atlanta, and I drive 20 minutes to shop here vs another location much closer to home. It's all because of the product selection plus exceptional customer service. First of all, they carry my favorite pimento cheese by Callie's Hot Biscuits. I've been a big fan of Callie's Hot Biscuits ever since a visit to the original location in Charleston - tried to visit the location here in Virginia Highland a few times, but their hours are so limited that it's been challenging trying to get there when they're open, and I don't want to pay an arm and leg for shipping. They said they started selling frozen biscuits and tubs of pimento cheese at Publix stores, but nobody in the metro Atlanta area seems to have the cheese. Except for this location!! And when I got to the store, manager Abdalla was so incredibly kind in helping me find the product, and not only that, when he heard that I'd driven quite a distance to buy it, he took the time to look the product up in the system to see if he can find it at a store closer to me. And when the system confirmed that none are available, he took time to give me the info that would help me talk to the teams at locations near me, sharing that stores can make special orders on my behalf as long as the product is in the system even if not at that specific location. It's a small luxury to be able to enjoy this cheese, but I really appreciated his philosophy to value every customer and make sure they have what they are looking for, even if it's not dollars directly to his store. Worst deli on line ordering service ever. No matter how long in advance you place your order. It's never finished when you arrive at the store. This was the first Publix I've been to in Georgia and only the second one ever. There's a great selection of sushi and deli/bakery items. I know the deli must be amazing, because the line was endless. There are lots of delicious salads and premade items in the cooler section. I believe I had a Mediterranean salad from here and it was very tasty and reasonably priced. I also found some keto protein shakes that I really like. They seem to be a Publix exclusive as I have not seen them anywhere else. This is a great location across from the mall and a lot of other stores. I came here after Supercuts and Subway which are both right next door also. I would definitely come to this location again if I'm nearby and need anything. read more

I recommend your assistant managers learn the art of customer service. When there are challenges in the store and a loyal customer (me) raise it to them, I would hope they try y to solve the problem or find a solution to resolve in the best interest of the customer (me) versus the flippant response as they walk away - "it's been that way all day"....virtually telling me it's my problem, not hers. Very disappointing! Thankfully the cashier worked with me and offered an apology for the inconvenience. As I told the cashier, your management can take some lessons on customer service from you. read more

I love my neighborhood Publix. The service is alway great. I shop here at least three times a week so Im very familiar with store and employees. A lot of people argue that Publix prices are too expensive but I think the items are fairly priced. One thing I can say about Publix is that their sales are truly a sale. There is no other store that I shop at that has a buy one get one free promo and will allow you to purchase only one of the items at half price. Also, there is no other store that will give you an item for free if it advertised price differs from what it cost at checkout. That's my definition of winning!! Hands down no other grocery store or sub shop for that matter can touch Publix's made to order Boar's Head Turkey Sub. People stand in line for 30 mins waiting to order a Publix sub. That is definitely a meal that I've been missing since I became a pescatarian. But I don't miss waiting in those lines. I think Publix should advertising the online order feature more often. Perhaps that would help with the lines. Oh, did you know they offer faxing services at .89 per page. Just used this service the other day. It was so convenient. This is the absolute worse Publix I've ever shopped in. The store is stocked better than the Toco Hills location but the customer service is horrible. I have complained to the manager on 2 different occasions regarding the rude cashiers only to shop at this location again to encounter the same rudeness. Wow, this place is HUGE!!!! During my 1st visit, we stopped in to pick up some vino right before the store was closing. The wine section is pretty impressive & the prices are pretty good too. I bought a HUGE bottle of Cab for $7 & my bestie got a HUGE bottle of sweet red for $10. Cheap date, right? LOL In addition to the amazing wine selection, the store was extremely clean, well lit, & the cashiers were nice and funny. Panthip was our cashier and she was very customer-service oriented. I've always liked Publix. It always seems on the surface to be more pricey, but i've definitely been surprised at the deals i've found, and with no membership card. The cuts of meat have always been of higher quality to me and there's been more meat per cut. This Publix is also in a great location, just a walk away from a Chase Bank, smoothie king and Northlake mall, if you want to knock some shopping out. I don't have anything bad to say about this Publix, and always a fan of customer service, the nice and helpful staff are top notch. read more

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE DELI AND BAKERY AREAS ONLY! This Publix anchors a large shopping center that also has a TJ Maxx among other stores. It is front and center so you can't miss it. After doing a bit of shopping, my husband and I ducked into this location for a quick treat. We purchased our delicious plain glazed and sour cream donuts and I chose to get a snack of fried chicken wings because I was not ready for a full lunch. My husband wanted something more substantial so he did not order any chicken here. Sucker! If you purchase food from the deli area, you may pay at the rear register and avoid the check out rush at the front of the store. I really appreciate convenience! if you want salad, you really need to check out the salad bar as it looked fresh and delicious. By the way, those wings were incredible and my husband wanted to cry when he realized that he had passed up an opportunity to purchase his own chicken. Poor baby!! read more

Unacceptable. I placed my order AN HOUR AGO. I come to pick it up, later than I said I was going to be, and I find out they havent even made it yet. The lady pulls out a handful of online order receipts and asks me to find my own name. Then proceeds to make my sub. The one I ordered A FUCKING hour ago. Well, Usually I don't make reviews about Supermarkets but I am doing one now. So, A couple days ago I was buying stuff in this Publix and suddenly a guy probably a person who knew me won't stop harassing me while I was shopping. I don't know who he is but this has go to stop, I might as well contact Management about this because for that one inconvenient worker, It makes me never wanna head back to any Publix ever again. I'm dead serious, maybe he mistook a guy who looked like me and keep calling me the wrong name. This is something very serious about a little privacy notice around this specific Publix. I never had this issue before when I was shopping at any Publix. I now understand why some people don't shop at this Specific Publix anymore! Aside from the lack of paper towels in the men's restroom, I enjoy shopping at this location (being right by one of our properties that I have been managing is also a plus). The store has a great deli and bakery that always has friendly associates. When buying food for our daily resident breakfast I like to get the Publix brand doughnuts. Even when they aren't displayed I can usually get some from their most recent delivery simply by asking... Parking is ample and check-out is always quick, which almost makes up for having to dry my hands on my pants. :) read more

I never go to this location, and now I know why. It is so difficult to get into the parking lot when coming from Lavista. The parking spots are tight too. The managers were very present and helpful in the store. However, I felt ignored in the seafood dept. it took over10 minutes for the guy to notice me. After spending a year in grocery store hell (aka NYC), it was nice to come back to this Publix. I walked through the doors and it took me a second to catch my breath. Seriously, it was clean, there were more than 6 narrow little aisles, things on the shelf were not expired and everything was perfect. The people were nice, the store was immaculate and I could not have asked for a better experience. I had such a perfect experience, that I sent an email to the manager who called me to thank him for letting him know I was happy. I've since been back about 5 times and every time, it's the same. And to all the people who say Kroger is cheaper...why is it that the times I have gone to Kroger (only when Publix is closed on holidays), things are always considerably more expensive (yogurt 5 cents more, milk 15 cents more?). read more

This is one of my favorite Publix locations. It's always stocked properly, the customer service is good, it's clean, and they're usually good about keeping the lines down. I also like the location. It's in the same plaza as Dollar Tree, Office Depot, and TJ Maxx. It's also across the street from Northlake Mall, Krogers, and many other gems. read more

I always have such a good experience at this store. I live closer to a Kroger, and I often go there first. There is always a huge difference in service. I have been there Three times to get Mojo Pork the first time they didn't have it, last night at 8:30 pm. they didn't have it, the empty the tray because it was seating there for 4 hrs. and they cannot keep it for over 4 hrs. The lady who was going to make my sandwich had a horrible attitude. She was completing chores before she started to assist me and I asked her to change her gloves, as she grabbed the bread and was about to make my sandwich with the same gloves she was doing her chores with. She then put my wheat bread on the bare counter. After she changed her gloves, she tried to make my sandwich with the same bread that she put directly on the counter. I asked for a different piece of wheat bread and she grabbed white bread, as if I had disrespected her based upon her demeanor. I then asked if I could get the darker bread, since asking for wheat bread wasn't a good enough indication of the type of bread I wanted. She asked me "what" several times after each time I repeated that I wanted the darker bread. Apparently this was a problem because she then grabbed the entire bread container and put it in my face and asked exactly which one I wanted. I repeated that I just wanted the darker bread and she still was acting clueless as to what type of bread I wanted, and had a major attitude. Even her coworker repeated to her that I just wanted the wheat bread and she continued to act clueless and was looking at me with a look of hatred on her face. I simply came for a sandwich, not all the attitude. I have been shopping at publix since I was a child and this has by far been my worst experience. read more
