After attempting…read moreto fill my prescription at numerous other locations, only to be treated like a criminal merely bc i hadnt filled at their specific location prior, I finally was left with this 24 hour pharmacy as the rest had closed or rejected me despite the fact that I had filled that same medication from a different pharmacy of the same name a few months back. If only I had come to this location FIRST. The pharmacist on staff (Larry) was very knowledgeable on the medications I was looking to fill, despite how rare they were. Most importantly he cared enough to help understand my situation as much as possible prior to making a decision. Instead of just turning me away because I was "new", he did his due diligence and saw that i had filled numerous times at other Walgreens locations. Based on this, he made a decision to fill my prescription as opposed to other pharmacists that ive encountered who will turn you away merely because "its not their problem". To make the visit even more memorable, the pharmacist took less than 5 minutes to fill the prescription. He could have easily made me wait until the next day like all other pharmacies, but he didn't. Pharmacies need to understand that when hiring a pharmacist, they need to have someone that is able to do both their trade skill as well as being able to provide excellent customer service. Competition is fierce amongst pharmacies, and patients will NOT go back to a place that showed little/no interest in helping them. If the tables were turned, would you? The customer service aspect is almost non-existent amongst pharmacists, however I can truly say that this last experience has proven to me that there ARE still pharmacists who truly care about the patient. Thank you, and I will definitely be coming back to this location!

This is never the case at Covenant. I'm always greeted by name and with a smile. There's never a ridiculous wait for getting anything filled and if it's not in stock, the pharmacist can usually have it ready the following day. I stopped using Walgreen's years ago due to their refusal to order a specific medication because it was one that they didn't normally carry. Never a problem at Covenant...they aim to please. Don't be fooled by the small store - they have a fair collection of everyday essentials in there also.

This past month, I called ahead a week early... never received notice that it was ready so called back and they told me I was requesting it to early and it could not be filled. So we waited until he had one pill left and had to wait for an hour for them to fill it! So ridiculous! I will be moving his script to the Athens Kroger since I work in Athens and get my meds there. It's always so easy- I call it in, and get a text when it's ready! Kroger Loganville needs to get their stuff together!

I had a very disappointing experience at the pharmacy drive-through at the Walgreens located at…read more2075 Grayson Hwy in Grayson. I pulled up around 2:35 PM with no one in line to pick up my prescription, yet it took quite a while before anyone assisted me. The pharmacist confirmed my prescription and began merging my accounts, but when I showed my prescription discount card through the window, he suddenly told me I had to come inside the store. I explained that I have previously used the same card at the drive-through without any issue. The only time I have ever been asked to come inside is when a prescription was not ready, which I completely understand. That was never given as the reason in this case. After waiting nearly 30 minutes with confusing instructions, the pharmacist refused to fill my prescription and stated he was also the manager. The situation escalated unnecessarily and he even called the police. When the officers arrived and I explained what happened, they agreed the situation was ridiculous. This interaction showed extremely poor communication and customer service for someone in a managerial role. I hope Walgreens corporate reviews this location's practices so other customers do not experience the same situation.
