I'm in town from New York supporting my daughter after surgery, and I needed a few wall décor pieces for her apartment. This location exceeded every expectation. Karen was an absolute superstar--truly going above and beyond with exceptional customer service. Manager Reni leads with excellence and clearly cares about both her team and customers. David was also fantastic--professional, attentive, and just an all-around standout. I stopped by this location to get a few cookies for coffee, the store is well stocked for the holidays, but a little too much with less staff to manage the crowds. I spent 20 minutes in behind 1 other customer at check out. I had 2 bags of Italy chocolate that I considered putting back. The line kept growing but no one considered bring in another person to the 6 check counters available. I still like the selection of imported goods. Homegoods is always clutch when looking for home decor or tv snacks! It's one of my favorite places to go. This particular location is very clean and they try to keep the store clean throughout the day. With so many customers there on the weekends, they certainly try their best to always have the freshest merchandise on the shelf ready to view. The lighting at this store is bright which helps make a decision on what you'd like to purchase and the check out lines move very quickly. I'm very impressed at how quickly we get in and out of this store. This is over due but I would like to give a wonderful review to an employee at this location. Her name is Melinda G. She is always so friendly and professional whenever I visit this location. She usually works the register. Extremely quick whenever I have the pleasure of having her check me out. Nothing is better than checking out quickly when you've been in a long waiting line. I thought she was one of the manager for this location but she told me no to my surprise. Homegoods corporate, look at the talent you have in house and promote the right people for the roles. Homegoods can be a hit or miss for me but I do love this location especially because when I do score I usually score nicely here. I'm not sure if all the locations have the same stuff but I suspect not because this location has stuff that I've not seen in other locations. Right now the trend in home furnishing is farmhouse and distress items...you know Fixer Upper stuff. No offense but I'm just not into that stuff. I like dark mahogany cabinets, tartan plaid and rich textures. This store is always a WRECK! Hard to find anything. Can't get down aisles. The employees are always super nice but I don't go to stores for that. Manager today decided to try to tell me how to parent my daughter....Maybe work on organizing your store and making it to where people can walk down the aisles and stop worrying how I choose to parent my child as I don't come to your store for parenting advice. I love this Homegoods location! This was the 2nd location I visited in one day and I'm hooked! For those of you who live under a rock, Homegoods is an inexpensive home decor store. From kitchen and dining to bed and bath! This store is located near North Point Mall so it can get packed pretty easily. The shelves were packed unlike the previous location. We have been coming to this store for 8 years now and never had any issues until tonight when the woman at the register gave my wife a hard time while she was trying to return some stuff. She blatantly said a couple of things were used and a couple of them were not even on the receipt - when I checked they were on the receipt - she apologized for that later. When my wife for the manager she said she was the manager!! We have bought so many things from this store such as lamps, rugs, chest, dinning table chairs, stools, side boards and the list is endless, but after the let down today we will avoid going to this store. read more

I truly enjoy browsing through Home Goods - I consider it a small victory to find the perfect item at a great price. This location is one of the ones I prefer, as their stock is large and, (due to sales volume), rotates frequently. As it's a part of a large shopping area, parking usually isn't too bad, but the store layout can lead to traffic congestion in the aisles. A cart is absolutely necessary at Home Goods, but navigating the store without hitting an item or a person is tough. Be prepared to reverse course...a lot. Home Goods is an excellent place for kitchen and bath items and usually has a good selection of occasional pieces (side chairs, tables etc.) This location also has a great selection of lamps, frames and pet related items. There are two truisms about shopping at Home Goods - 1) you never know what you'll find and 2) buy it when you see it because it won't be there when you come back. read more

Lots of cute stuff but the stuff I liked had dings, chips or pen marks on. When you ask for a discount they say, 10% which isn't much on a $600 item. I have been here twice in 24 hours and the staff, except for a guy named Jason, seemed so bothered to help out. I spent $700 last night in 5 minutes and again hundreds of dollars now. I love Homegoods. The Alpharetta location is very busy and crowded. Right now, Jan 2020. the store s crowded with stuff all stacked up in the aisles. It's very hard to get through with a cart. There are also so many people too that two people cannot go down an aisle at the same time. It's becoming like Tue. Morning, it's that messy. The 5-6 staff that I interacted with, on the past several trips, all seem stressed and were unfriendly. This store is just not as enjoyable as others. This place is AMAZING. Went in looking for a full length mirror for the living room of our new place but my expectations weren't too high, considering all the beautiful full length mirrors I had seen were in the $400 - 500 price range online. We ended up finding the most gorgeous golden mirror for only $79.00. WHAT A STEAL! Took it home right away. They had so many of them that I was thrilled by the selection. Definitely the place to come and look for gorgeous and different key decorative pieces for your home that not every other person will have (think, IKEA). Another great home goods. Most of the accents in my house are from home goods. A different location didn't wrap a bowl and it broke so i went to exchange and walked out with a cart full of stuff. It be like that sometimes lol. I have absolutely NO guilt as they looked amazing! Only thing is that this location never has enough people on staff. I love this store! It's usually hit or miss as far as finding stuff that I want to spend my money on, but when I do find something I feel as I've hit the jackpot! This store is the perfect place to browse for gifts and the shelves and aisles are over-stocked with all kinds of goods. Their customer service was horrendous. I was in there looking for a new duvet and pillows. Everything in the store was great. Especially when I found my duvet and some pillows on clearance. When I went to go purchase the items and leave. The cashier, (mean African woman), looked at my items and said that the items were not discounted. I was extremely distraught, bc I didn't understand. Then she proceeded to not let me purchase the items for their clearance price. Just wanted to say that I was extremely upset that I couldn't get what I wanted. So just warning you people out there that get something on clearance there at home goods just too be careful because it probably isn't going to be the legit price when you get to the register. The cashiers there suck and they really destroyed my customer service experience. I will not be returning to this location ever again. read more

This HomeGoods has the very best selection of furniture and lighting. I will drive the 40 minutes from Atlanta to go to it if I need another piece of furniture. The home decorations, knick knacks, etc. is slim but bigger pieces are a hit. read more
